I wonder what the game would be like if instead of true strike coming passively from items, what if evasion was disabled by certain classes of disable. Specifically, stuns and roots would make sense for this, because how can you dodge if you are locked down? Then if you can avoid getting disabled, you can be a nimble dodgy type, but evasion would still have value. EDIT: I am not considering balance here, as balance can end up being a numbers game.
