I don't have a specific target for how it splits. I mean the overall goal is to work less and earn more but on the other hand... I generally enjoy most of my freelance work and want to continue improving my skills + rates. One day I hope to reach a point where I feel really comfortable with my work/life balance. Right now it still skews a bit towards work but last year I really improved the amount of free time I take too.
Hey man, thanks for your work! I have a quesitons, if you could start again which road would you take in terms of learning stuff to become great in weblfow(freelance or agancy)? html, css, javascript(any framework, library) before moving to webflow. What would you add to this list, like marketing, graphich design? Answer on this would help a lot to go one direction and do not waste time on things I do not need. Thanks :)
I got my start on Upwork just trying to use Webflow as much as possible. If you know Webflow well enough to sell it as a service give that a shot otherwise just focus on building a project that has meaning to you - don’t worry about the tech involved just build the thing you want to build - hope that helps!
Your content is truly valuable, and you are so inspiring. I have a question should i start posting 1 youtube video per week or 3 instagram reels per week, I will have only 1 hour a day
Appreciate it! I got started in forums. Trouble shooting other people’s questions was a direct way to provide value, engage community, and sharpen my own skills. It was less about gaining a following, and more about learning/sharing! But def YT over Instagram!

Hey Flo! It depends on what you define as a project. I’ve been working with some clients for years at an hourly rate and rolling timeline. Some of the contracts I got through upwork took less than a day of work. I’d say on average, I’m working with 3-5 clients at a time. Hopefully that helps!
I find you and Timothy Ricks my favourite TH-cam educators of Webflow. Love your content, keep up the good work!
Thank you! Really appreciate it.

Love this update! Freelance is currently at 85%... where would you like to see it considering the other "passive" sources aren't really passive.

I've been freelancing for ~2 years. Did personal projects for about 6 months then tried out Upwork for about a year. Yes started from 0 pretty much.
