      @@DanielKingHiking you’re very welcome Dan. Just out of interest, I did wonder if you take a bit of inspiration from Andy Beavers channel as I you have a similar filming style. You definitely bring your own style to things as well. I can see you doing really well on YT. Keep up the great work pal 👍

      Massive fan of Andy’s definitely my favourite literally watched all of his videos on TH-cam 👍🏻 I think the way he captures the surroundings and his knowledge of routes/landmarks is amazing. Also his knowledge and interest in the history of the areas he walks I find brilliant. It would be a massive honour to meet the man or even do a camp with the legend if I’m ever lucky enough to get the chance. I like that he’s very down to earth as well. Thanks again for the kind words gives me motivation knowing people enjoy my videos 👍🏻 ATB Dan

      Hi James hope your both keeping well? 👍🏻 I’ve had a rough last few months had a lot going on and in the process of moving house at the minute so it’s been hard to find time to get things sorted! 😣 hopefully try and get something out soon. I have the last part of my Lake District vlog edit and need to get on with that! 😬 glad you and the wife are enjoying the videos! 😁 same to you bud ATB Dan

    Daniel, "Wow" Stunning footage (back ground tunes FANTASTIC dude) and the hard hard work you do to achieve these great videos and show the true pain that you go through to show a true reflection on these wild camps, especially the latest "Lake District" with longer nights out wild camping (know other TH-camrs are doing this ?

      Thanks for the kind comments James! 🙏🏻 really do just try capture everything as it happens... the scenery and how I’m feeling at the time. Think it can help a lot of people showing other peoples struggles and how they help to overcome them. It can help to inspire others to have a go themselves 👍🏻 I always try to show as much of the camp and walk as possible as there’s always so much too see 👍🏻 glad you enjoyed. The kind comment means a lot buddy thank you 🙏🏻 ATB Dan

    What a Cracking pitch the views next morning looked stunning, pity about the high winds all night but the tent coped well is it the vango mirage, I must get out in the peaks sometime, Great video Enjoyed, Keep Safe, Les.

    • @DanielKingHiking
      @DanielKingHiking  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s the Vango mirage 👍🏻 I’ve found for the money it’s a great tent. Not the lightest by any stretch but for my first tent it’s done me more than proud in the conditions I’ve been in 👍🏻 definitely recommend it Les great walks and some cracking scenery. Same to you my friend and as always thanks for the support ATB Dan

    Wow, great video Daniel. The Eastern side of Kinder is the only side I haven’t explored yet but I am going to have get up there now. I rather fancy an ascent via Jaggers Clough from Hope Cross, which looks like a challenge 😁

      @DanielKingHiking  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Greg pleased you liked it bud 👍🏻 same first time I’ve ventured over there and it has some cracking views mate. Jaggers Clough looked amazing and definitely looked a rewarding challenge. If you ever do it let me know how you get on 👍🏻 ATB Dan

      @@DanielKingHiking Will do, I spoke to Dean Read about it and he said that it is a cracking route up. Will have to wait until my next trip up (I live down south) and given the pandemic, I am not sure when that’ll be yet! I have certainly found Kinder rewarding over the years. We tackled the entire Northern edge back in early September and it was pretty epic. I still think Crowden Clough is my favourite scramble route up. A walk up to Howden Moors and on to Crow Stones is also definitely on the list, as is Wildboarclough Clough up near Crowden, if I can muster the courage 😬 👍ATB Greg

    • @DanielKingHiking
      @DanielKingHiking  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some great scrambles up Kinder I have yet to attempt myself, I’ve seen them in passing and thought some look challenging. I did Fair Brook and that was not too bad only last hundred metres really that were a scramble. The scenery was stunning that was in my Fairbrook Naze wild camp video if you haven’t already checked it out 👍🏻... yeah this covid is a nightmare hopefully we can all get back to normal life soon 👍🏻 keep safe ATB Dan

      Can see it this time bud 😂👍🏻... I got mine in Asda it says THERMOcafe by Thermos was £10 sure it would be available online elsewhere to be honest I didn’t look just happened to stumble upon it and thought I could of done with it. Works a treat keeps it really warm without the flask getting hot in the hand 👍🏻 thanks again for watching and commenting my friend, glad you enjoyed and stay safe 🙏🏻 ATB Dan
