I changed my fog light housings out a while back, and that one bolt that faces down, right where the oil cooler is, took me like three hours...
I have my 335 for the last10 years.had some problems but a good car with 300horse and twin-turbo, the manual shift and automatic is the best driving experience without the clutch on hyway.I put a straight pipe exhaust for 380$,it was so nice to hear the growl.
Suggestions would be 1st, insulate your garage door and add more light so you can film in your garage. 2nd, you can run conduit electrical lines from the ceiling to power tools and chargers. The cheap way to cool the garage is, once you insulate the garage you can just open the door to the house, a more permanent solution would be a ductless ac unit. I purchased my 2011 335i M sport just about 2 months ago. Alpine white with black interior. I’m hyped about the car. I’m loving driving it already! On a side note, mine came with the dynamic lighting package (I think it is called) and the halo rings are blue. I’m not sure if that changed after a certain model year? Anyway, it was a nice surprise when I first came to test drive!
Very nice and clean installation. I wanted to see you video out of curiosity. I own a new 2018 BMW X1 fully loaded. I did quite a bit of customization too. I added LED Fogs in the original housing. LED Turns in the front and back. The back ups were already LED as are the plate lights. Interior are all LED too with Ambient lighting. I added consoled box that looks OEM because somehow BMW thought it would look nice to have an exposed storage box under the armrest so now it's fully covered. I changed the amber turns in the front to LED too and had someone customize software programming for the turbos and options. With the newer Bimmers you can add option by software. So you actually tell the car that you're using LED's so that you don't need resistors etc. I exchanged an interior rear view that has homelink and a compass so that you don't need to drive around with a garage door opener. I found in on Ebay and it's an actually BMW OEM mirror. All most everything is software these days. So with an ODBII cable and a laptop and the software you can program features in to the car. So I have the full keyless entry / exit system. There are a few small lines on the door handle that when you touch these lines you can lock the door. Well mine also locks the doors and windows and sunroof and sunshade and hatch (if open) and finally the mirrors with a 5 second press with your finger. You can also use your hand to unlock the doors and unfold the mirrors and if you keep you hand there it will open the windows and sunroof to air the car. Or you can use the key fob too for both lock/unlock by pressing longer. I also added a color logo projector that shines at night under the 2 front doors with a BMW Performance where the door lights used to be. I added some features the color HUD and digital display and shortened the driver profile. Bimmers are very cool cars.
The water power a.c. is good to use. I worked at a heat treating company and the ovens would operate at 2000 degrees and we had the water a.c. units and stayed cool all the time. The floor model with wheels. Its 3 feet talk and 3 feet wide. Its not exspensive to buy
I have a 2007 335i Sedan Emerald Green lowered On Coilovers with some 2015 3-Series M-Sport wheels tintes all around. Wrapped all the crome all over the car. Clean Headlights and a Black Custom grill. I was thinking of getting a Newer Bmw but I’ve learned from you and myself that these cars can looked very updated just by doing these small things here and there.
Swamp cooler will help with the temps, but you’re going to drive your humidity through the roof. I used to rent something similar, I’d run the swamp cooler while working then turn on a dehumidifier on my way out the door. I’m right up in Ocala, have a 335i and a 328i, and just finally got a decent garage set up. Looking at a pile of parts to be installed right now.. hit me up if you’re ever in the area, I think I’m going to go see your guys in Orlando to help track down an oil leak. Good luck!
BMW E92 is the best looking BMW last 20 years, classic BMW elegance which you rarely find on modern models. No need to update. But of sure, now you have your unique BMW and it looks very good too.

One thing you might want to consider is modding your brake calipers to "say" Brembos. The headlights look awesome and the foglights now match the headlights perfectly!
I would've gone with bavgruppe rings if I was you. Recently did em on my e82 135i and they look incredible. I had to diy retrofit as labor adds up on the e82 with the permasealed housings, but well worth it.

I have the same problem with my BMWS with jacking the car up, I use a cheap little jack to lift up on of the sides in the front and then lift it up with my good jack from the middle, this way you don't have to lift the car up as high to get the jackstand under the car and it is a lot faster actually

Yet as I got older I would hear so much negative thing about the reliability. You channel has slowly been pushing me towards doing a similar build myself. Maybe not as sophisticated, but a simple tune and few bolt ons.

Hey buddy, quick tip. Get a wireless lav mic system and just run it under your shirt. A rechargeable one with long battery life will be perfect and it will reduce the amount of ambient noise picked up. Good video!

Congrats on the garage. I don’t have a garage myself. It’s the driveway for me. But, I do have a use of a garage at the shop where I work (if needed). Plus a few mechanics I ask ask if I have problems. The new headlights look great on the car.
It's not our fault. It's the design of the blinker controls. BMW basically says to it's customers, 'You are driving a German car, you don't need to indicate your moves to ze enemy.'
Well I don't have anything to cool my garage but if the rest of the house is connected then it's pretty easy to open the door to the house and let it cool down the garage.
I didn't see anyone else mention this. If you take out a few bolts from the oil cooler on the passenger side it makes the job a lot easier. There will still be a hose attached so you will have to hang it, but it's not hard to get that thing out of the way.
Oh damn I thought your headlights were OSS designs this entire time. They look GREAT! And I love that amber turn signal on the halos. I have an LCI E92 but I’m not gonna lie. I’m desperately trying to keep the car as modern as the current bmw line up (at least in line with a current 4 series) so I’ve been looking at headlight replacements for something more reminiscent of newer bmw headlights and halos. I’m also updating the interior and saving up for the 10.25 android navigation screen from CanadaShop4x4. I also have to update the LED interior strips. They’re starting to lose quite a bit of their brightness now.
A "water powered AC" is a swamp or evaporative cooler. I had one once, it was pretty much useless during that LA summer and i had to fill with ice. Despite the name, swamp coolers do not work in humidity afaik.
Get a ratcheting extension cord and secure it next to the outlet from the ceiling and then you won't have extension cords running all over the wall and ceiling. Also a couple of rechargable spot lights on stands. Its a 15 amp outlet and depending on your power needs you may be tripping the breaker. Did you change the code on your garage door opener?

20:24 - dry the fog light and continue with the second 3000 grit pad

The rear door leads to an outside hallway so that wouldn't work. Appreciate the suggestions and the black kidney grilles make a huge difference!

You can also place 2 pieces of 2×4 in front of the front tires and drive onto them. That will give you clearance for the jack.
Go to harbor freight and grab some wheel chocks., around $10-$20...that weight is not gonna work on a garage floor...safety 1st

Use a needle nose vice grips on the light washer, holds it in place while you realign the plastic clips on the cover

maybe clear tint would prevent oxidation/fog in headlights and your fog lights?
Get one of those wall mounted AC units. They work well, you will have to keep the door shut to keep the cool air in.
