Dodge Ram Tailgate/Connector Swap - Getting Your Back Up Camera Working Again

Had to change the connector on the tailgate from a 10 pin to an 8 pin to get my back up camera working again after putting on a newer tailgate

Do you know where you can buy the other connector (the side you didn't replace coming from the truck to the tailgate? My connector broke and the dealership wants 275.00 for a repair kit to fix the broken connector.

What wire does the white/ purple coming from the radio go to? My connector has been cut from truck. Only plug that's still attached is the tailgate camera.

The back up camera has 5 wires in the 2011. Pink/tan 12V, Drk grn/org camera return, dk grn/brown camera signal, NCA wore (black and thicker) camera shield and black/grey for ground

I think I used a wiring diagram or just matched colours

do you have schematic diagram or color each wire and how connect.?
Because you show only system how you do that and i need which cable
from the new tailgate you insert and contact with the old cable

The colours on the connector are the same colour as the truck. I have wiring diagram but only used it to confirm this was the case

Can i just hard wire it? I bought a new camera as my tail gate was stolen and i can nit find the harness that goes from the camera to the truck harness all the harnesses i find dont have the right plugs. My camera and truck have the same plug as your spare plug

Should be able to do that, but I'm not sure about the video feed cable
