Clovers and the color green. Both related to luck. When you think about it, there isn’t a bunch of Green Rangers, and that’s mostly because they are usually interchangable with the color black, even though there has been times where we see both. Not so lucky I guess.

Growing up, I developed a head cannon for the general pattern of switching between green and black because those were always my faovirte rangers. Rita's cooruption of the green power coin disrupted the green side of the grid and partially drained it of it's color. They all draw from the green spectrum but from different points.

Honestly Ziggy is and always has been my favorite green ranger for a buttload of reasons I just love everything about the guy in general I'd say after him probably a tie between Cam from ninja storm or the og tommy.

Tommy, Cam and Izzy are my 1,2 and 3 of green rangers. Tommy because, legend. Cam because he was really cool and had a great backstory. Izzy because she was so interesting and had so many great qualities that helped her as a ranger; she also learned to overcome her flaws.
I really did like Ziggy and Dillion’s relationship in RPM. They had a very close friendship almost like a brotherly bond. Your honor, they are brothers!
I have to add Also, that Izzy had made history for being the first ever female, green ranger in Power Rangers Dino fury.
I can’t help it, Tommy is my favorite green ranger. Mighty morphin just holds a special place in my heart.

Tommy was awesome, but I also love Cam from Ninja Storm.
I have a theory as to why in Sentai, for the last 3 seasons, we haven't seen a Green Ranger.
The increasing use of chroma key effects has made the presence of a Green Ranger impractical.
I know chroma key can be done with almost any colour of screen, with green and blue being the two most common I'm aware of.
But every season has a Blue Ranger, so the one who gets left out is Green.
Zenkaiger used chroma key sparingly, Don Brothers used it somewhat more, and King Ohger seems to use it almost every episode.
Toei may have invested a lot into a shiny new chroma key studio, so much so that the inclusion of a Green Ranger may be off the table for a while.
If there is a new Green Ranger in season 48, it may be that they're left out of any chroma key effect heavy scenes. OR they're done separately in their own screen on a different colour background.
As weird as it sounds, I cannot consider Tommy and Cam as green rangers, even though “green” is in their ranger aliases. If you’re a sixth ranger, special ranger, or ally, it doesn’t count imo.
I feel that bc that’s like saying the gold zeo ranger is technically a black ranger. Or the phantom ranger is just the turbo black ranger
Actually Este, there is a simple explanation Why Jake’s ranger key was green and not black. I put two and two together myself. There is more green rangers in the whole series at the time than black Rangers. If you go through all the teams in the power, rangers series franchise back to back, you’ll know that the green ranger popped up more times than the black ranger.

My 1st favorite greenranger is Cam. My second is Bridge because he was the green ranger of the 2005 season. Which is when I was born. 3rd is actually Tommy. I know that people are going to say that he should be number 1 but I started with Ninjastorm as a kid so that is why cam goes first. Oh and because his name was Cameron like me.
Didn't know Xander from Power rangers Mystic force was a Zealand person in the show he,s one of the coolest rangers of the mystic force rangers like Daggeron and Nick also he did a rivalry with Daggeron in the season🐂🐂.

4:56, uhh Astros the Space Red ranger was the first on team Alien Ranger (and later Zhane, and even further still Karone as Galaxy Pink, and her teammate Maya (Galaxy Yellow)) outside of the Aquitar Rangers themselves, the Phantom Ranger, and Trey of Triforia, Tripp is just the 5th on team Alien Ranger.

Mad respect for the Ziggy love! For me it is a toss-up between the classic Tommy and Ziggy, but I thiiiiiink Ziggy wins out JUST a little because of how charming, funny, and realistic he was. Ziggy was a man with a checkered past and a heart of gold. He became a ranger on accident, sure...but only because it was the only way to keep the morpher out fo enemy hands. His arc was definitely one of finding his courage and not always relying on Dillon to get him out of trouble.
I even had this ultimately bogus fanfic idea where Ziggy thinks he can't live up to being a ranger, but goes on a sort of spiritual journey through the grid and sees the green rangers of the past and how none of them started out amazing either. They all had to work and change to get where they are now, and Ziggy would live up to that "Legacy of Green," as was the working story title. Ultimately it would end with him actually finding the dragon dagger and much like the original green ranger, got to take the mighty Dragonzord for a spin. Ultimately the dagger would be lost or destroyed, but in that moment, Ziggy knew he was indeed worthy of being a power ranger.
