This foundation is magic for super mature skin like mine. I use a little cosmetic spatula..and apply with my fingers. It is the only foundation I love on my skin with deep wrinkles and sun damage but not looking like I’m wearing a mask
I have the same experience. I used to try out a lot of foundation but since I tried What the foundation, I keep reaching for it every day, because it feels so good on my skin and I like it when I look in the mirror (66 y)
I have dry "mature" skin, and I LOVE this foundation - it doesn't cover everything, but the other parts look so pretty, I don't notice or care what it doesn't cover. For the application with a brush, I would try swiping instead of dotting or pouncing the brush. It doesn't respond well to the dabs, but it swipes around great. One thing that WTF does because of its consistency, is that when it does get patchy, I can usually smooth and blend it back out with my fingers. When I get too much shine, I go over certain areas, like my t-zone, with translucent powder. That also keeps it from feeling too tacky.
Your videos are practically the only reviews I trust- I can SEE your actual real skin. And wearing it all day and with a workout… I so so so appreciate the hard work!! ❤
Just stumbled upon your video while looking for reviews on the WTF foundation and I wanna say thank you!! Thank you for being so real with your review and for not using filters and showing your real skin in real lighting as well! I don't remember the last time I've watched a video on Makeup where the creator showed the real life side of Makeup on skin. ❤
I've been so on the fence about ordering this. Thank you for the real deal review. You are my go-to for navigating that sweaty sensitive dry skin life.
Omg this foundation is pure magic. I am 48 and apply with my fingers. It feels wonderful on the skin. I use a tiny bit. And I have not had any separation in the packaging.
Whatever the amount you think you need…start with 1/10th of that. It will be perfect. You can always add more. I lightly dip my brush in and use the top to blot it out before applying. I LOVE WTF ❤. AT 56 my skins never looked so amazing!
I just found your channel. Thank you for your review. I will never wear anything BUT Jones Road since I discovered it! I LOVE this foundation! My skin is very dry, and it’s absolutely perfect for my skin type:)
I absolutely adore you and your channel!! Thank you for being authentic. It's so hard to find people like you. Stay blessed, and take care of yourself. Lupus Strong💜💜🙏
I love this foundation. When I need more, I use a powder on top - it is an excellent primer. I don't get the issue with the packaging. It's a small jar that fits anywhere.
I love the packaging of the WT foundation… Glass is so much cleaner, then using toxic plastic. I love this foundation for my mature skin. It’s the only product I’ve used that did not collect in my final lines, creases, and large pores.
Three things: 1. Your Husband is gorgeous! 2. Congratulations on those earned calluses! Mine were driving me nuts and made me start wearing gloves when I lift lol 3. They should just market this "foundation" as a tinted moisturizer. It's skincare with a tint, not a foundation imo. You really did your best to make it work!
Yes. It should be applied with fingers like skincare. It’s the best way to apply and then you can go back with a sponge and take off any extra. If anyone remembers her tinted balm while at Bobbi Brown-now discontinued-then you will know it’s essentially the same product and it’s beautiful!
I have this and love it. I am very dry. I wish it had a tad bit more coverage only bc of my hyperpigmentation. I barely use my moisturizer in the a.m. when I use this bc it’s so hydrating. 9/10 for me. You looked gorg❤️
It emphasized her texture and she looked caked faced immediately after applying makeup and it was patchy and just horrible and then the day got worse 😂
I love this foundation too! It looks great on you and o love how it looks on me. The packaging is unconventional but I don’t mind because it is amazing. Bobbi is brilliant and I expect nothing else from her.
Mal , lately I have struggled with my autoimmune disease gained 25lbs , oh man! I’ve been on the struggle bus. Very down on my looks & weight! How did you get & find motivation for your health journey & would you ever consider a meal “day in the life?” Love how dedicated you are.
Hi Estelle You are not alone , I have been living with my autoimmune disease for 14 years . Mine affects my body physically as in my muscles stop working. I go from being paralysed to being able to walk with a walker . In the past 18 months I’ve gained 30kg and the older I get the harder it is to lose . I’m on a tonne of medications that cause weight gain , fluid retention etc etc . It’s really hard for a long while I didn’t want to leave the house , I was embarrassed for my family or friends to see me like this . I started seeing a psychologist to help me love myself again . I stuck affirmations around my house “self love “for me to see and say , to remind myself to love myself inside and out . I started journaling my feelings my thoughts then setting myself small goals to try and aim for . Just something little to get me motivated. To date I haven’t lost any weight but I love the skin I’m in . I wear a leg brace , I have scars the are visible all over my chest , I’m 50 so I have crinkles and grey hair . Makeup has been my main thing that has contributed to me feeling beautiful. I started watching TH-cam videos / tutorials to learn how to apply all my makeup from skincare through to setting spray . I just love it , I hope this has helped you just a little, sending you hugs 🤗 & strength to be a happier you . Xxx 🌻🇦🇺
Having an autoimmune disease is truly life crushing, and every single day is a challenge. I’m in bed today because I’m so sick, and it’s absolutely depressing. I’ve been where you are, and I promise it gets better, just be easy and gentle on yourself during this period❤️ I have wanted to one for a while, but my house is about to go under reno FINALLY so when I have a decent place to film one, I definitely will✨
I feel like this highlighted your (minimal) natural texture?!?!?! I have a lot of new weight loss wrinkles, I'm turning 40 (woot), have LOTS of hyperpigmentation, and severe acne scaring. I also have two extremes with my combo skin- -the dry is very dry and the oily is very oily. I'm thinking I need to switch from a matte face (this is painful to me) to something more dewy to stop highlighting my newly acquired wrinkles. Like..the fullest coverage. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TLDR: does anyone have a recommendation of extra full coverage foundation for mature skin?
I actually have been a long time hard core sponge fan for applying all my foundations and I hated this done that way. Also had patchiness on my cheeks. So I decided to try fingers and I love it that way. Also end up using less product. I have a sometimes oily t zone i I set that wkth powder and a little on my jaw (to keep my hair from sticking since this can have a tacky feel for a while) and I can’t stop looking at my skin when I wear this. I hope it holds up when out our typically hot humid summer arrives!
It looks beautiful on your skin!!! Do you think it would cover broken capillaries? I want something that won't look dry on my skin but need the extra coverage on the apples of my cheeks and nose.
You are the CG for this brand-meant with the most love! You absolutely rocked that foundation. Here again, I know it isnt filters, but the glitching-probably due to movement and lighting. Ive seen it before and dont know what Im seeing. I thought it was the outside lighting...great review. New sub!😊😊

Adding this to my list to review for my channel. I’m 50 and have combo skin. Also you look like a young Drew Barrymore ❤ALso I love your review and the glasses you’re wearing - what brand are they?
My experience wasn’t so great. I know it’s not meant to be full coverage but I do have pigmentation and fine lines. The product was sticky on my face and it didn’t cover or smooth out the pigmentation and it settled in my fine lines. I find that Laura mercier tinted moisturizer works better for me.
I put it on with a brush...didn't like it so I used my fingers to blend it like I put moisturizer on and it looked perfect. After I finished it I lightly used the brush...end result made me happy.
I have this foundation and love the colour match and texture you experienced. I think I’m starting to have separation issues after 1 month and find when I apply my powder afterwards my brush picks up the product and gets moist making the powder clumpy. Any advice please molly?
I'm fair, but I don't think I have yellow undertones? Or! If anything I have pink or red undertones? What would you recommend. I'm also later 40s... I want to look dewy, not greasy and less tired lol
Hi, I love it you only have to use a little. People tend to use too much. My skin looks natural but more translucent. I use my clean fingers it looks more natural and Bobbi Brown mentioned that she likes to do the same.🥰.
Ok so now ive watched the rest if ur video ,it actually looks really nice on ur skin, but l have dry breakout acne prone skin & thats the same skin type u said u have,so my question would b, doesn't all those oils that the Jones rd foundation relys on 2keep the skin hydrated make ur face breakout,or at least get red & irritated?i cant buy any foundation anyways 4 awile til some of the ones i already have r all used up or at least expired & im pretty happy with the chanel foundations i have, but 4 the future i would like 2 know,bc looking at all those oils separating jus makes me think my skin woud breakout
My opinion, it's not worth the trouble. I had the same problem with Charlotte Tilbury's foundation that comes in a tube, lots of people either love it or hate it. I wanted to love it just because it's so convenient, but it applies on me the same way this one applies with a brush and it felt like I was putting honey on my face.
thats an interesting note! sometimes I do too sometimes if i guess my shade wrong or if its an older product I purchased at a different time of year - like winter vs summer
I love all the Jones road products. I feel like they are so much better than her original products. I will say, I do think the lid is meant to stay in the jar. Best application is using your fingers and using only a tiny bit of product. I use Laura cellar to set so it’s not sticky.
I have such a hard time applying products with my fingers😭 I have sensory issues, so feeling makeup on my fingers makes me so weirded out haha! But I love this applied with a damp sponge❤️
He really is! He was the “husband” to another little lady black cat I was taking care of, and then a neighbor trapped her and her kittens, and I havent seen them since. So Husband is now all alone😞 So he’s my BABY!!!
I'm really intrigued by this one though I'm not sure how it would wear on my skin 😊, pretty nice on yours ❤..! Maybe the best way to apply it is using your fingers 😊
You look beautiful as usual! I like the foundation its just hit or miss some days. Where did you get your glasses? Im still using mine with one ear thing 😅🤣 i need new ones...
I’ve been wearing Warby Parker. I love the shopping experience and the options and the value so I really can’t recommend them enough! I usually link the frames in the description box ♥️
oh girl, thank you. But I have notoriously terrible, dry, sensitive, rash prone, and reactive skin. I would highly recommend it for those with skin issues. Plus I think they have some cool bf deals right now go.shopmy.us/p-2814377
I covered them here th-cam.com/video/eHJHP6qqjJE/w-d-xo.html here th-cam.com/video/FyEW9tFR3sU/w-d-xo.html and here th-cam.com/video/zhpDWUZrJxU/w-d-xo.html ... I think 🤣
I'm a personal trainer and retired bodybuilder, I'm tempted to see how this would hold up in Florida heat during outside workouts. Does it transfer in your hands or phone etc? I'm an Estee Lauder Double Wear girl for years nothing has stayed on like EL.
I think if a foundation is thin enuf2 put in a bottle with a pump, then thats how it should b bc its more convenient & more hygienic..if its a thicker consistency, theni understand y they would put in in a jar, like the Chanel sublimage foundation that i have comes in a jar & thats ok with me bc i dnt think they had a choice,bc the chanel sublimage foundation is really thick & probly coudnt b in a bottle with a pump...but 4 those foundations out there like jones rd & some others ive seen reviewed, they look thin enuf 2 me 2 have a bottle & pump so not sure y so many r doing that with their packaging, wat happens if im putting my foundation on & i lose my lid,am i supposed 2 replace it with tin foil, its jus messy & inconvenient..but wen i was buying my Chanel sublimage foundation, the 1 with a pump was even more expensive but not by much but enuf4 me2 get the 1 in the jar,& i do love it 4 my dry skin ,but it can get messy & the lid can get lost.but like i said its a very thick foundation so a pump was not doable..but the foundation ur using the wtf, looks thin enuf 4 a pump 4sure,so maybe some people just prefer a jar?
I haven't tried the jones rd wtf,but i do have dry skin prone2 redness & breakouts, so wen i saw a review where the person showed the foundation with the ingredients all broken apart i saw lots of oils coming apart & thout that looks like this foundation is relying heavily on oils2 keep the skin hydrated & i think ther r very hydrating foundations out ther not relying on so much greasy oils2 keep the skin hydrated & with the ingredients literally separating in front of ur eyes it almost looks cheaply made..also with that much oil & my breakout prone skin im afraid it would jus irritate my very sensitive, irritable & breakout prone skin, alittle oil is probly ok but if i c that much oil separating,i can jus c my skin getting red , irritated & possibly causing breakouts so i think il pass.
Reading the comments. I have looked into buying this product and probably won't. I have naturally oily skin and really don't want to look like I was just in the sauna.
I love this brand! I’ve seen a lot of young people give opinion and I think you really need to be 40+. Also, you need to be a person who doesn’t like caking on makeup and prefers taking care of their skin more than piling on makeup.

I have to ask what glasses you’re wearing. I love them.
Foundation looks fabulous on you… And you’re right it does look like skin.
I effing love ❤️ you so much for not using a filter!! Did you ever try any of the Jones road cheek/bronzer too? I'm so curious about these.
Yay! I was hoping for your review on this❤❤ you’re awesome Mal, hopefully you’re feeling okay today!
I got you girl! and i am feeling better- the migraines are mostly gone thank god!
Thank you so much ❤I appreciate all your efforts, thoughts and tips, loving your content 🎉 love from Australia 🇦🇺 ✌️😎
Aww thank you Kelly!!!! Love right back to you from Arkansas❤️❤️❤️
I like it for my mature, dryer skin. Use an additional bronzer. Gives a more even, natural skin look.
Omg but I think it looks amazing! I also have dry skin around the cheek area, oily on the nose though. I love that you showed it with no filters 😊❤
Great video🎉 have you tried the Westman atelier skin dew drops. It’s great for dry skin. Reminds me of Jones road but in a serum texture.
Best Foundation .... ever !!!! I love it
I’ve been debating buying this. This makes me want to give it a shot
Do it!
overall I would recommend most people with skin anywhere like mine to give it a shot!
I love WTF. It is not a tinted moisturizer and not a typical foundation. I like using my fingers the best. Just looks like your skin.
I don't even wear foundation, I just wear concealer my skin is soo sad.
But with the weight loss, it's not going super hot.
My gosh your face with the full beat? You're literally stunning. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@ImMalloryBrooke Ahh. Yes! Now I see it. Ty
Your glasses are so cute!! What are they?
They're linked in the description! ❤️
@@ImMalloryBrooke thank you❤️❤️
You have really nice skin, I wonder if someone with alot of skin issues would like it?
oh girl, thank you. But I have notoriously terrible, dry, sensitive, rash prone, and reactive skin. I would highly recommend it for those with skin issues.
Plus I think they have some cool bf deals right now go.shopmy.us/p-2814377
Have you used the Jones Road blushes, bronzers, highlights? I'd love to see a review of those! 😍
I covered them here th-cam.com/video/eHJHP6qqjJE/w-d-xo.html here th-cam.com/video/FyEW9tFR3sU/w-d-xo.html and here th-cam.com/video/zhpDWUZrJxU/w-d-xo.html ... I think 🤣
I love it, but I use much less product. I pair with Miracle Balm and sometimes Jones Road blush.
Girls that lift!! 👊🏻💪🏻 I got calloused hands too.
gotta stay strong ❤️
I'm a personal trainer and retired bodybuilder, I'm tempted to see how this would hold up in Florida heat during outside workouts. Does it transfer in your hands or phone etc? I'm an Estee Lauder Double Wear girl for years nothing has stayed on like EL.
I think it looks awesome on you. ❤
I love that you have a kitty now. 🥺❤
oh I wish. I'm too allergic, but she hangs around outside
@@ImMalloryBrooke She's totally yours now 😉❤
I have mature skin, but I am all in the natural look, but I also like some coverage and I don’t know that it’s going to offer me that.
New subscriber here. I have an autoimmune disorder and have dry skin. I'm going to give it a try.
Those glasses!! Love love ! What brand ?
Warby Parker - the different frames are linked in a lot of vids ❤️
@@ImMalloryBrookewhat is the name of the frames in this vid?
You look great! ❤
❤️🥰
I think Bobbi brown makes her product for those who apply with their fingers. Not my vibe, but I usually only wear concealer.
your so beautiful wout makeup
I stirred the foundation and it became easier to apply
Yes! There’s a bit of a learning curve with this one!
I like this foundation but I find it works best when applied like skin care with my hands.
How do you figure out your shade?
Why does the packaging suck? Is it the glass?
Great video thanks 💜🌻✌🏻
you got it Anne ❤️
Is it buildable for full coverage or is that not needed?
Damn girl u got a lot of bronzer on!
Reading the comments. I have looked into buying this product and probably won't. I have naturally oily skin and really don't want to look like I was just in the sauna.
🤣🤣🤣
I love this foundation. You should put some on your finger tips, dot on your face, then use the brush to blend. Less is more.
Beautiful
You are amazing!
🤗thank you
I love this brand! I’ve seen a lot of young people give opinion and I think you really need to be 40+. Also, you need to be a person who doesn’t like caking on makeup and prefers taking care of their skin more than piling on makeup.
I’m just curious, what happens if you use just your fingers to apply WTF?
Did yours smell weird? Mine smells kind of strange
It has a natural type of scent to it, definitely not fragranced. We are so used to fragrances, that we forget how cream and pigments actually smell😂
You actually look very cute with just concealer. Im not a fan of fake eyelashes
