Little request though: Could you phone a friend or family member that has texture to their skin and demo on them as well? By texture I mean older estrogen depleted skin with maybe more wrinkles. Your skin is gorgeous. Also, could you give us an update on how it lasted throughout the day. You are queen of the makeup demos.. very much a well done video.
As a more mature woman I find the miracle balm works well on my dry skin. It makes my skin look more moist and more luminous without creasing throughout the day.
Most youtubers are really enhanced by make up. But here, I just kept shaking my head with every layer this beautiful woman was putting on. I couldn't help it. Covering her beautifull complexion. Hardening her eyes with pencils. I have rarely seen such a beautiful young looking face. And I have never seen someone looking older or worse after applying make up. Not Jones Roads products fault. I guess there is such a thing as too much of a good thing ? Applying make up to a perfect face, apparently makes it less beautifull ? I am so surprised by that. The liptattoo she got, did look perfect on her.
I've just started using the Jones Road products and love them. I appreciate that you thought about how to use them before just publicly trashing as it seems many are doing. There IS a learning curve to the products but in my experience, the payoff is worth it. I did like seeing you use more of the things than I currently have, I did not buy bronzer, for example, but am now utterly convinced i need it. 🤣 Thank you!! (Also, yes, you ARE a beautiful woman with a gorgeous blank canvas. I can't compete, but I can aspire to always look better, right? Old age is not going to drag me down.)

I have the WTF. It’s the ONLY foundation/tinted moisturizer I found that made me look better than just my own skin. I’m almost 70. Very dry skin. Lines. It melts into your skin. You need very little. Works perfectly under eyes. And amazingly, you can wear it all day and absolutely nothing happens. No change whatsoever. Everything stays exactly as when you put it on. I got mine is Light. It’s a beautiful color. Had zero luck with Magic Balm. Dries out after 4 hours. Did this even when I wore it over moisturizer. All the glow goes away and everything looks stale. That’s when I put it all over my face: Dusty Rose. It’s great on the lips. I tried working with Miracle Balm many times and the issue always is that it doesn’t last, just dries out.

Everything I said about the What The Foundation is true, though recently I discovered not to get it get too close to my eyes because it makes them water. Anyway, not all 70-year olds are the same. I’m in great shape, do weight workouts, ride my bike, walk everywhere and write novels.
Thank you for your review. Today I wore the WTF foundation outdoors to kids track meet. I received two random compliments on my skin. It also really covers my dark circles even without the cover up pencil. It doesn’t look shiny on me because I am much older than you. Edit: The other issue is this is not a foundation for normal skin. It is for dry skin. And you are right it is more like a tint, than a foundation a person plasters on their face.

I would really like to try that WTFoundation; it sounds just like what I would love- super light and bare coverage. Seeing the steps on this order was helpful too. I am realizing that I need to apply a translucent powder to set so I don’t feel so “heavy” on my face. I originally bought Miami Beach and Tawny and I have to say, I loooooove Miami Beach! Just happened upon your fabulous video! I have been a Bobbi Brown fan/devotee for almost 40 years. Then found her new line (Jones Road) somewhat recently. I have just ordered some of her products - the small kits, which I think I will get small sizes of products for me to try. I had so n m any questions about her products that you helped answer & demonstrated. I live in Los Angeles now & therefore not as pale as I used to be. And you seemed to have picked out the colors that I would have picked! So I’m excited to try them. I was looking for a product to use on my days off but need to be out in public. Just something moisturizing but not the full-on makeup. Which is what Bobbi’s aim was. I’m 71 now & semi-retired & on my days off, I don’t want to put on makeup (because I HATE washing my face!) First of all, I adore you! I am 57 and I have dry skin in the winter and these products are perfect for me. I don't wear them in the summer or spring because I live in a climate that is hot and humid, but winter is brutal. I love Jones Road, Bobbi, and I am happy for her. I've been using JR for about 8 months now and love, love all the products. I'm almost finished my WTFoundation. I love the miracle balm and use it every day. I'm an older woman so the balminess of the products are wonderful. So easy to use and look good even without foundation.
I really liked this video. About three months back I visited the Jones Road Beauty store in Montclair, New Jersey. I felt there were too many options to take a chance on ordering on line. I ended up buying the WTF, the face pencil, two eye pencils, a powdered eye shadow and brush. I use most of these products everyday. I am very happy with the wtf. It does what it says. It evens out my skin tone. I love it. I feel made up and my face looks so much better with it on. I definitely recommend this brand, with one caveat. Go in person. They have way too many options and chances to miss getting the best option for your color match. 🌸🌷🌺❤️

That's very kind...I'm probably not the best skin type to see its 'coverability' BUT I wouldn't invest in this if your main aim was to find a medium coverage foundation...it has low coverage - less than a bb i would say!!
I have purchased WTF foundation, Miracle Balm and mascara. First jar had big chunks of something in it. The exchange was super easy, however, the second jar had the same problem, but the "chunks" were lower in the jar. I didn't return it again as I have no expectation that the third jar wouldn't have the same problem. The Miracle Balm is an amazing product for me and my dry skin. The mascara dried out after about 8 weeks. Not sure if I'll buy other products to try out.
I'd love to know how it wore during a full day. Did it slide off, as it was quite an oily product?? Check-ins at several points during a day would be really helpful x
I have it. I have very dry skin. Almost 70 with lines. It wears all day. Does not change at all. Where you put it, it stays. Does not melt, does not dry. Stays exactly as when you put it on. It’s the ONLY foundation/tinted moisturizer I found (and I’ve tried many), that makes me look better than my own skin.
If you have normal skin and no moisturizer on, then it shouldn’t slide-which I think was mentioned in the video. Mine definitely stays on when I wear it. Anyway, it’s Winter now and I’ve decided to use Jones Road for my Summertime look because it’s so dewy looking. I just don’t love a dewy face on me in the winter. It’s also buildable which is nice!

Although I am a very mature natural brunette gone white/grey, my skin is almost the same color as yours, with a slight rudiness. I normally go light or beige, but the WTF colors are so close I am tempted to go medium so the yellow will balance out the redness in my skin. I can balance out with the golden magic hour and the light concealer if it’s too dark. So excited as my skin has been ver dry for years, I love your channel and subscribed for a makeup influencer for 😊

Ok this is a review and influencer I absolutely relate to. Im 43 and have found within the last year my skin has seemed less oily. I have need to learn a new makeup routine. And this is amazing❤️❤️
You look absolutely gorgeous before you put anything on your skin! Saying that, I loved seeing the changes as you applied each product. You also relieved a bit of my anxiety about getting the wrong shade. Because they are so light it won’t be a disaster if I am a little off in my choice. Each layer you put on changed the total picture in a wonderful way. The total change was amazing. I’ve ordered the 3-color Miracle Balm pallet, smaller amounts of each color, and am looking forward to trying them. Now I want to order the WTFoundation too. I really appreciate that you kept on emphasizing to use only a tiny amount of! It seems that the people who use too much are the ones who are so dissatisfied. This 80-year old lady is looking forward to having some fun with makeup, just as we did when we were young.
I am so excited to try the balms. I'm going with both of the shades you ordered because it's the most everyday friendly look for me and I can always add more metallic shadows to jazz it up, but keeps the skin looking natural-ish/lighter makeup. I am having more and more problems with creasing around my eyes as I age but I can't stop laughing so I've stopped caring about it and just make sure I keep as moisturized as possible under my eyes. Lovely video. I just saw your channel for the first time. I enjoyed the way you reviewed the products. I've been so tempted to try the Miracle Balm, but hesitate because of the price. I'd love it if Jones Road would come out with some "minis" for purse, travel, trying different colors, etc. Or maybe a holiday set. I do love lip & cheek sticks; I'll have to consider trying theirs.
I’m 62 and have good skin. So I wear tinted moisturizer mostly or a BB cream. I am interested in this and your review was the most helpful I have seen. My skin is normal to dry combo so I think it would work for me. Thank you. ❤

Every time I use something different, something with more coverage, I regret it and wish I'd just stuck with my WTF and Miracle Balms! It's such a wonderful, natural blur and brightening.❤
I am 70 and have been using some of these products since they came out. I use WTF, Miracle Balm, face pencils, and cream shadow. After the pandemic I was into less is more. These cosmetics are designed for a no-makeup, soft, dewy look. If you want heavy coverage, not for you. Thank you for the great tutorial.

I have 2 different colors of WTF…. I think they run a bit darker than expected. I also got several of the miracle balms. It takes a while to get used to the tacky feel but it wears so beautifully throughout the day. I do have dry skin so it works for me. I wish the eyeshadow came in more colors. The makeup looks fabulous on you!

I find that if I use my fingers to warm it up then apply it. I don’t use a moisturizer and a spatula. I definitely have to use two colors for the foundation.
Hi, I love both these products. I also have VERY DRY skin, and Jones Road has been wonderful this winter. Oddly, I also use the classic Bobbi Brown line, especially the stick-foundation and a darker brown BB power - and I mix Jones Road and original Bobbie Brown. If I am going out, or need make up for 12 + hours I may also mix a bit of my very, full coverage MAC foundation as my first layer...then build out 3 shades with BB and JR. Again, I have dry, dry skin, and I am super happy to have Jones Road and I LOVE the way it looks either layered or using the Miracle Balm solo. I highly recommend Jones Road!...

That's absolutely brilliant! I am not a foundation user but I would like to start using one. What colour should I pick? I can't make mistakes as it is not a cheap one. Once, I have done quite extensive questionaire with a JR competitior about my skin to detetermine the right foundation colour. What I got at the end was pretty yellow and nothing like my skin shade.
I loved every single one of these products. Thanks for showing the coral colors. I would like to purchase them. The whole look was gorgeous on you. I live in the west coast in the U.S. The prices are pretty much what you find in any high end department store. I wish someone would gift me some of her products in return for making up a 70 year old who has never worn foundation and currently wears no eye make-up. My eyes are so hooded that mascara just doesn't work so I hide behind my glasses.
I have been using these products for over a year off and on. They are good, but it is tiring to keep sharpening the pencils. It is also hard to pick shades for the face pencils and you end up buying quite a few. I have used the balm all over the face and then the pencils as a foundation. I also have the WTF in medium which is a bit too dark, so I will try the beige. Thank you for this review. I agree the comments on these products have been harsh but they are products you need to get used to and work with for awhile.
@@Nikalette100 Hi, you should watch a few of BB's shorts. The WTF does not need the balm under it as it is a skin care type product. If you use the balm alone, then the pencils are used as the foundation. The balm can be used over the WTF as a blush and lip product. Hope this was helpful.
Just received the color Flushed. I’m quite fair and it blends beautifully. However, I used a spatula as I’m not a fan of sticking my fingers directly in the product. Excited to try the Bronze.

I think that you are so beautiful naturally that you don’t even need make up. I’ve seen very few women with such a flawless complexion.

I've been using JR for about 8 months now and love, love all the products. I'm almost finished my WTFoundation. I love the miracle balm and use it every day. I'm an older woman so the balminess of the products are wonderful. So easy to use and look good even without foundation.

I really liked this video. About three months back I visited the Jones Road Beauty store in Montclair, New Jersey. I felt there were too many options to take a chance on ordering on line.
I ended up buying the WTF, the face pencil, two eye pencils, a powdered eye shadow and brush. I use most of these products everyday. I am very happy with the wtf. It does what it says. It evens out my skin tone. I love it. I feel made up and my face looks so much better with it on. I definitely recommend this brand, with one caveat. Go in person. They have way too many options and chances to miss getting the best option for your color match. 🌸🌷🌺❤️

That's very kind...I'm probably not the best skin type to see its 'coverability' BUT I wouldn't invest in this if your main aim was to find a medium coverage foundation...it has low coverage - less than a bb i would say!!

I have purchased WTF foundation, Miracle Balm and mascara. First jar had big chunks of something in it. The exchange was super easy, however, the second jar had the same problem, but the "chunks" were lower in the jar. I didn't return it again as I have no expectation that the third jar wouldn't have the same problem. The Miracle Balm is an amazing product for me and my dry skin. The mascara dried out after about 8 weeks. Not sure if I'll buy other products to try out.
I'd love to know how it wore during a full day. Did it slide off, as it was quite an oily product?? Check-ins at several points during a day would be really helpful x
I have it. I have very dry skin. Almost 70 with lines. It wears all day. Does not change at all. Where you put it, it stays. Does not melt, does not dry. Stays exactly as when you put it on. It’s the ONLY foundation/tinted moisturizer I found (and I’ve tried many), that makes me look better than my own skin.
If you have normal skin and no moisturizer on, then it shouldn’t slide-which I think was mentioned in the video. Mine definitely stays on when I wear it.
Anyway, it’s Winter now and I’ve decided to use Jones Road for my Summertime look because it’s so dewy looking. I just don’t love a dewy face on me in the winter.
It’s also buildable which is nice!

Although I am a very mature natural brunette gone white/grey, my skin is almost the same color as yours, with a slight rudiness. I normally go light or beige, but the WTF colors are so close I am tempted to go medium so the yellow will balance out the redness in my skin. I can balance out with the golden magic hour and the light concealer if it’s too dark. So excited as my skin has been ver dry for years, I love your channel and subscribed for a makeup influencer for 😊

You look absolutely gorgeous before you put anything on your skin! Saying that, I loved seeing the changes as you applied each product. You also relieved a bit of my anxiety about getting the wrong shade. Because they are so light it won’t be a disaster if I am a little off in my choice. Each layer you put on changed the total picture in a wonderful way. The total change was amazing. I’ve ordered the 3-color Miracle Balm pallet, smaller amounts of each color, and am looking forward to trying them. Now I want to order the WTFoundation too. I really appreciate that you kept on emphasizing to use only a tiny amount of! It seems that the people who use too much are the ones who are so dissatisfied. This 80-year old lady is looking forward to having some fun with makeup, just as we did when we were young.
I have sparse eyelashes and Jones Rd mascara gives me thicker longer lashes. I love it.
I am so excited to try the balms. I'm going with both of the shades you ordered because it's the most everyday friendly look for me and I can always add more metallic shadows to jazz it up, but keeps the skin looking natural-ish/lighter makeup. I am having more and more problems with creasing around my eyes as I age but I can't stop laughing so I've stopped caring about it and just make sure I keep as moisturized as possible under my eyes. Lovely video. I just saw your channel for the first time. I enjoyed the way you reviewed the products. I've been so tempted to try the Miracle Balm, but hesitate because of the price. I'd love it if Jones Road would come out with some "minis" for purse, travel, trying different colors, etc. Or maybe a holiday set. I do love lip & cheek sticks; I'll have to consider trying theirs.

I’m 62 and have good skin. So I wear tinted moisturizer mostly or a BB cream. I am interested in this and your review was the most helpful I have seen. My skin is normal to dry combo so I think it would work for me. Thank you. ❤

I am 70 and have been using some of these products since they came out. I use WTF, Miracle Balm, face pencils, and cream shadow. After the pandemic I was into less is more. These cosmetics are designed for a no-makeup, soft, dewy look. If you want heavy coverage, not for you. Thank you for the great tutorial.

I have 2 different colors of WTF…. I think they run a bit darker than expected. I also got several of the miracle balms. It takes a while to get used to the tacky feel but it wears so beautifully throughout the day. I do have dry skin so it works for me. I wish the eyeshadow came in more colors. The makeup looks fabulous on you!

I find that if I use my fingers to warm it up then apply it. I don’t use a moisturizer and a spatula. I definitely have to use two colors for the foundation.

Hi, I love both these products. I also have VERY DRY skin, and Jones Road has been wonderful this winter. Oddly, I also use the classic Bobbi Brown line, especially the stick-foundation and a darker brown BB power - and I mix Jones Road and original Bobbie Brown. If I am going out, or need make up for 12 + hours I may also mix a bit of my very, full coverage MAC foundation as my first layer...then build out 3 shades with BB and JR. Again, I have dry, dry skin, and I am super happy to have Jones Road and I LOVE the way it looks either layered or using the Miracle Balm solo. I highly recommend Jones Road!...

That's absolutely brilliant! I am not a foundation user but I would like to start using one. What colour should I pick? I can't make mistakes as it is not a cheap one. Once, I have done quite extensive questionaire with a JR competitior about my skin to detetermine the right foundation colour. What I got at the end was pretty yellow and nothing like my skin shade.
I love these products!! I have dry skin so it works great for me! I would imagine anyone with oily skin wouldn’t like it.

I loved every single one of these products. Thanks for showing the coral colors. I would like to purchase them. The whole look was gorgeous on you. I live in the west coast in the U.S. The prices are pretty much what you find in any high end department store. I wish someone would gift me some of her products in return for making up a 70 year old who has never worn foundation and currently wears no eye make-up. My eyes are so hooded that mascara just doesn't work so I hide behind my glasses.

I have been using these products for over a year off and on. They are good, but it is tiring to keep sharpening the pencils. It is also hard to pick shades for the face pencils and you end up buying quite a few. I have used the balm all over the face and then the pencils as a foundation. I also have the WTF in medium which is a bit too dark, so I will try the beige. Thank you for this review. I agree the comments on these products have been harsh but they are products you need to get used to and work with for awhile.
That is what I want to do. The balm first, then the pencil,,then the foundation. So happy you mentioned this.
@@Nikalette100 Hi, you should watch a few of BB's shorts. The WTF does not need the balm under it as it is a skin care type product. If you use the balm alone, then the pencils are used as the foundation. The balm can be used over the WTF as a blush and lip product. Hope this was helpful.

Just received the color Flushed. I’m quite fair and it blends beautifully. However, I used a spatula as I’m not a fan of sticking my fingers directly in the product. Excited to try the Bronze.

It is more oily than sticky unless you set it with some powder!! 👍🏼
