St. George's sword can also be taken from Hans Capon. I took if from the chest while doing the bathhouse quest from him. I also took his clothes, now he walks around looking like a peasant.
Literally the first guide that shows us the best items in the game, I’ve been waiting ages for one of these and it turns out I’ve already got all of them
Oh, forgot to mention: I've heard that the chest North East of Neuhof may be patched out of the game soon. It was never meant to be there in the first place according to Warhorse.
Theres been many rumors about the chest. Seems never ending. Some say they didn't get the loot from it before and now they can get it. Some say they never got the loot from it. Some say they got the loot from it very early on. On every platform mixed reports. I'm sure its not supposed to be there. Just seems so confusing.
Found it by exploring the world very early in my first play and it was quite awesome considering i was rather naked until then. The thing I found the crazyest was solving the sidequest for sir Divish, he then rewarded me with more than a thousand groshen!!!
You can also get the sword from the Hans Capon side quest where you go to the bath with him. YOu can steal his out fit, his key and his St. George sword.
erm, so I cracked him on the skull with a mace, he falls over bleeding out at my feet and promptly expires. I felt really bad about that. But not so bad that I didn't loot him. I needed the money to rebuild a church. I'll devote a special prayer to him.
Upvote so all can see! The nurembergian cuirass can also be found on the knight Ulrich! If you kill him at some pount during his questline, preferably the end, you can find his chestplate with a 25 armour raying!
Sanrin The Necromancer i got it that way too, without knowing how good ist was. His armor was my first plate armor, i always wondered that no vendor had something better to sell :D
I got very Lucky once and it changed the game experience. So I was at the beggining of the game and wanted to check out skalitz Just for fun and ended up watching a deadly clash from marauders and guards, the marauders won and I waited for them to leave and picked up very good equipment left behind, italian helmet for example and every plate and chain componen
Yes, I had the same encounter happen to me pretty early in the game. Only difference being that I killed the marauders after they killed the guards 💪🏻 good loot, good times 👏🏻🥳
If I am honest, your videos are, hmmmm GODLY. There's no other word for it. You search and probably loose your mind trying to find those treasure maps, armour and whatnot, and you decide to share it with us. Thank you, such a legend! Subscribed and like all your videos!
I found that the cumman bow can have near as much damage as the yew longbow, but requiring less strength. Also: the spear, lucern hammer and poleaxe are pretty OP. If you poison them, they are like the bow 1 hit kills
Had the exact same outfit. Awesome. :) Although one incredibly minor change I made, was when I had the choice between the Long Noble Hauberk and the Short one - they are similar statswise, but since the mail can be seen beneath the cuirass, if you happen to choose the long version, it affects charisma slightly negatively, while the shorter one is hidden and hence doesn't affect your charisma unwantedly. This is due to the charisma being defined by the visible parts of your clothing/ armour.
Also, the Quartered combat jacket can be found in the Swordsmith in Rattay's guard. I wen't there to get the nobles sword, saw the chest where the guards loot was, checked inside and you can find the tight red hose and the quartered combat jacket there. Also you can find the noble hunting sword inside the rattay swordsmith too (in my case).
The Nurembergian Cuirass is not in "Ancient Map III" ANYMORE. It is in the grave on the opposite end of the stone fence next to the pond north of Uzhitz (middle of three).
The Quartered Combat Jacket can be stolen from the chest in the Talmberg chamberlain's room (the second floor, right above the kitchen). I'm not sure if it's something he actually wears. If so, it'll only be there at night. Either way, it's available ridiculously early, you can just sneak in and nab it when Robard comes to wake you up at night.
I have pretty much all that stuff i sold the leg armor because atleast on consoles it bugs your outfit and fucks up the way it looks that sword is impressive as i said im playing on console so lockpicking is pretty much impossible i wish there were alternatives to lock picking like brute force and breaking the lock, because lockpicking is horrible.
if we were considering the charisma bonus (like with the chauses) then Lords Of Leipa Cuirass should've been the best cause of the same armor stat but higher charisma, also for the hoses you should've went with black decorated hoses with a charisma stat of 19, which is the highest one, but it doesn't really matter at this point when we have the house of Zoul armor pieces.
Lords Of Leipa Cuirass wasn't in the game when this video was made. It was added with the 1.7 patch in October, some 6 months later. You're right about the hoses. Yea, House of Zoul stuff was added much later in the game.
@@OrcCorp btw i know there a gambeson with a slash defence of 13 and blunt defence of 10, which sounds like a good middle ground, couldn't it be considered the best body garment? Tho the charisma stat is low as hell
Hiya Orc or Orcidea 😉 love your videos, coming from a Fallout to skyrim fan, and slowly transitioning to this one; after I purchase it. Anyways keep up the good work 😄
Hey man, thanks for the guide! Great vid! Any idea how to get hounskull helm? And by the way, what helm are you wearing during the first fight with the faint heart knight? Thanks in advance!
Thanks! I got the Hounskull from a dead soldier at the battle of Vranik, the bandit camp (part of main questline). You can also find it on some town guards and other fights/battles you face. To my knowledge it can not be bought from anywhere. I'm wearing the Italian Bascinet at that point in the video.
OrcCorp Thanks a million! The battle of vranik from the main questline you just mentioned - is it close to the end of the game? Just don't wanna speedrun the game, even though I do like how the hounskull looks.
Thanks! Helped out a ton! Any plans for making a decent and thorough combat guide? The basics are rather simple, but all those master strikes and combos... Anyway, would like to see more different KCD vids from you. Like your style, man.
After seeing this, picked up the Noble Sword and have used it quite a lot. it's certainly very good. But I recently found Stinger, used by Count Wolflin in Robber Baron (I don't remember seeing this weapon for sale in Rattay/Sasau). Significantly better stab damage. One could argue it's a better shortsword than the Noble, at least for a combat style that heavily emphasizes fast attacks. It does have worse slash damage though...Noble is still the better "all-rounder". But I think the shortsword's main characteristic in general over other weapons is its fast/stab attack, so it's a reasonable argument that "best" shortsword is whichever one has the best Stab damage.
Yes, there are variation depending on the play style. As you said yourself, Noble Sword is a better allround weapon, hence I consider it the best of that category. Usually you should not only focus on stabbing, you should also combine slash attacks in your style, so Noble Sword offers more damage in most situations. But, of course this is only my opinion and I'm not saying yours is invalid. Each chooses his/her own preference :)
If you want to maximize your charisma, you can use the milanese arm plates instead of the magdeburg arm plates. I managed to get max charisma by doing that without even using a jacket.
This is best in terms of offensive and defensive stats for all armour, what about if you only want 'light' armour? And what about visibility and conspicuousness stats?
daddyleon The "Best" weapons and armor are based on attack and defence stats. Leather and Cotton stuff is not that protective but it gives more evasion, especially when the *Light Armor Perk* is acquired.
The stats don't really matter all that much with light armor. Pick black gear to lower visibility and and go for quiet clothing. But I'd say personally keep a set of armor on the horse to wear during the big battles where you're just not going to be able to avoid fighting harder than normal.
Hey man, great video but i wonder how do you get thoses stats?! I mean i have same lvl, same exact gear and stats but for melee weapon i only get 87, range weapon only 128 and noise 100, why your stats are better??
If I had any mods, it would be clearly stated in the video. I have no idea how the difference is possible, other than some perks / passive effects, or a patch has changed some stats.
@@OrcCorp thanks for the reply. Yeah can be that. I also found something on a forum where they said its not there in hardcore mode which is funny... Same by the way with the quarterd combat jacket, its missing from the T. Chest.
Do I need to be in a specific place in the main story to have access to some of the gear in the video, I didn't found the Bouche shield and the Pauldrons at the merchants...
I dont know why everyone keeps forgetting that u geht a St Georgs sword basically for free Form the rich noble in the quest where he is bathing. All bis loot is in the chest beside him and he wont mind u Taking his stuff
Sadly the concealed casket in the extra treasure beside sasau monastery is not on that little island in my game. Perhaps those things are randomly placed around interesting sites every time u start a new game? :l
Hey great guide. (I already have all the gear anyways). I was wondering if you came across the "Gold Chain" necklace yet. It's meant to be the best necklace in the game but I haven't come across one yet. If anyone knows the location, please respond to me, it's the only piece I need to have the best possible gear in the game. Also you guys should wear the Red-white miparti hose/Decorated black hose for sure, they have the best charisma boost at 19. As for the Madgeburg plate chausses vs the Augburgs plate chausses, for me the charisma difference is only 1. That might be due to my gear or character level or something so I always go Madgeburg plate chausses.
Unfortunately no, I have not seen the golden chain necklace yet. Who knows, it might not be present in the game world at the moment, much like the Exotic Eastern Blade that no one has found yet.Hmm... I don't believe the charisma bonus works with the hose if you wear it under leg chainmail and leg armor. So like I said, it doesn't matter much :)
A Nonymous if you sell anything to the miller and close transaction then rebuy any items lose the stolen hand. Its only like a 2k sword so its cheap. Also my speech is at like 13 so i tell guards that secret mission thingy and they let me pass always.
Kill or choke the wayfaring knight. From battle sections in the main story. I got 3 during the attack on Talmberg (end game quest), just loot all dead bodies.
Is that Warhorse helmet (and the whole set) available even without the pre-order? Cause I think I've been to Treasure Map 3's location, and I have the Nuremberg cuirass, but the helmet wasn't there. If anyone can confirm it'd be a great help, I don't like the look of my Arching bascinet.
The game looks beautiful and reminds me to TES IV Oblivion, but i noticed some (gaussian) blurry effects while moving around. Why's that? Is there version or option to turn it off (like in The Witcher 2-3) that makes it crystal clear?
There should not be any blur visible in my videos. There is an option *Motion* *Blur* which I've set off. I dislike any blur or depth of field, so I always turn them off in all games.
Kill or choke the wayfaring knight, he has one. Also during the combat sequences in the main questline (with multiple enemies), try to loot as much as possible. You get some of the best gear that way too. For example during the seige of Talmberg, the attack inside the castle, I found 3 of them from the dead enemies (among with other stuff worth over 20k money :D).
Well done. Separately, the wayfarer Knights come back from the dead if you accidentally kill them? I felt I needed to reload when I accidentally mashed them.
Thanks! Yea, you can kill him many times. Once again something that breaks the immersion at times, and I think the developers should fix it. The wayfarer system is not impressive in my opinion. Too much the same, not enough variations after some time. And for some reason I can not find the wayfaring knight anymore. All I get is the light-hearted knight and rarely the mercenary. I spent over an hour to try and get the knight who gives you the Milanese brigandine, but never got him for this video :(
Make sure you stealth kill him or kill him when knocked out, in one play through i tried to knock him out but he resisted and ran, after many times of that, my reputation to him went below 50 and he won't even talk to me the next time he appeared. So, win the duel, crouch behind him, knock him out, rob him blind, leave him, and he'll comeback with his full gear and no problem.
+Francis Deo Dominic D Quilab I fought him once and knocked him out during the duel(headcracker perk), the bastard woke up a minute later claiming he won the fight and took my 250 Groshen. That is when I choked him out and robbed him.
Hey 👋 ORC. How do you have so much money and how did you get your melee damage so high. Would love 💕 if you made a guide for these two. Anyways great 👍 video. Keep up the hard work 😓.
I've played over 120 hours already. I got the game 5 days before release. I need to think about the guide for basic game mechanics, as you get better attack damage as you level up your weapon skill, and you get money for looting all and selling all. I rarely make guides for the basics like that. Treasures also contribute on that side, so watch my latest video for all 25 treasures :) Here: th-cam.com/video/EByJYjqF90k/w-d-xo.html
A quick, easy way to increase damage potential is to use a Mace/Warhammer. If you look at the armor stats in that "best of" list, blunt damage is always the lowest - especially on the head and arms. So anyone wearing *less* full kit than that is going to be taking a lot more pain. The very early-game maces are nothing to write home about, but you add more damage as you level Mace skill up. The best longsword in the game is St George's Sword, doing 71 base damage in slash and stab. The Ceremonial Mace does 60 base blunt damage - so you'll actually be sending more damage through their armor by using it. The Bailiff's Mace actually does one point more than the Ceremonial one, but it has about two-thirds the durability. So the Bailiff's Mace degrades in damage faster than the Ceremonial Mace. (Still looks awesome though...) Progression through Maces should go: Mace (4 Strength) -> Morgenstern (6) -> (non-spiked) Warhammer (7) -> Bailiff's Mace (10) -> Ceremonial Mace (13). Maces have terrible Defense stat, so you'll want a Shield to pair with it. As you just saw, Bouche Shield is best. It has 150 Defense. A random Shield with some city's crest on it will have 98 Defense. There are a couple of others in between, but not a whole lot of reason not to go directly to Bouche. Also keep in mind the Perks that will increase your attack bonus (Blood Rush, Blacksmith's Son, Heavy Swing, et cetera).
lol I have over 100k groschen...you need to be able to pick the very hard locks but im rattay there are storage/loot rooms in the traders houses...for example the door through the armoursmiths shop...these chests will contain most of there stock which you can buy from also in one chest there will be all the traders wealth..I found 98k gold in my game because of how many things I bought from the trader
It's a shame the best armors aren't those with gold trims(or even same prefix). Btw, was there any jupon/combat jacket with Skalitz color(Rend and Yellow)?
Yeah in my game I got the magdeburg chest and Augsburg legs + arms with nobleman gauntlets...I also use the red black pourpoint...dunno why its named black when its red with the red nobleman hood and the 2 coloured pants...red and black with the little symbols I think with no chainmail legs...also the decorated german helm...my guy looks like a proper noble then
There are Dark Combat Jackets and Cuffed Combat Jackets with the same armor values but lower Charisma rating. I haven't seen all the colors those come in. But the only two-tone one you're going to find is Quartered Combat Jacket. I've only seen them in the above dark-yellow-and-black color scheme, but there aren't many of them in the game so I don't know if that's the only colors available.
Choke or kill the wayfaring knight. He has one. Also during Talmberg seige (attack in the castle), when you get to it (end game), and if you haven't already done it, loot all the dead soldiers. I found 3 long noble hauberks from them. But stat-wise it doesn't matter, the short noble hauberk is identical in stats.
FaMe x DLUXZzZ _ Appreciate the reply, but still.. I ran around naked using a bludgeon still wiping the floor with 5 mobs a time. I spend the beginning of the game grinding skills with Bernard, i regret it now.
I found mine on the 'wayfaring knight' instead of fighting him I stealth killed him and took all his gear...you could also just knock him out...that's some good starter plate gear aswell
Well, Ceremonial Mace has 38% better defence, 3 points better charisma and 47% more durability. Also its over double the value. Thats why I consider it the best mace in the game. But you can of course prefer Bailiff's Mace, this video is only showing what I consider the best items in the game by their stats and value.
You are correct in your estimation of the value of the Ceremonial Mace. That one point of difference is going to vanish in a very short amount of time due to the lower Durability of the Bailiff's Mace. The Charisma difference is also going to affect your sales price interactions a heck of a lot more often than the single point of base damage (assuming it's still there) is going to affect your combat results. .....Now if only you'd start actually swinging the thing around =D.
I really liked this game. But I found really good armor/St George sword really early. And killing 4-5 ppl is a breeze. Now it's kinda boring...Maybe they could make a hard mode or something.
Definitely worth the money if you consider yourself a fan of this type of more difficult, more realistic medieval RPG. Tho be sure to check out some reviews beforehand, so you can make an informed purchase decision. Some players have reported massive technical problems. I haven't encountered any, so I can't speak for that side.
There are a few bugs, and they can be annoying. If you are tolerant, then go ahead because the bugs shouldn't bother you, as long as you are on console. PC is a little more buggy.
So did Henry have these armour pieces custom build for him? Or is it a "one size fits all" deal? Cause in real life, any metal armour piece would NEVER fit everyone... XD
The warhorse helm is an exclusive pre order helm and the other helm I found it on one of the guards in the huge guard camps near merjohed...I think it was
Just to point out, the Sasau Armorsmith's Milanese Brigandines are the strongest breastplates of the game. However, it is commonly confused with inferior ones such as the dyed milanese brigandine you get from the wayfaring knight. Essentially the better armorer makes better armor, and Master Ota is the best in the land.
the ceremonial mace does 3 slash and 3 pierce and the bailiff does 2 slash and 2 pierce...lol not much differance in dmg because both blunt is 61dmg aswell
It's not always about the damage (or pure protection with armor). Ceremonial Mace has about 38% better defence, 3 points better charisma and around 47% more durability. Also its over double the value.
But if you value your weapons based on the damage they do, would Bailiff be better? Seems to be more when equipped on the inventory screen. Also, does 1H weapon defence matter if you use a shield?
The difference in blunt damage is about 1.2% for the Bailiff's Mace. In slash and stab damage Ceremonial Mace has 1.2% better damage. The difference in damage is negligible, to say the least, and won't affect your fighting much, if at all. All the other benefits go for the Ceremonial Mace, so its a better and more desirable option, in my opinion. Of course, all this is personal preference. I simply consider the Ceremonial Mace better than the Bailiff's Mace, based on the facts I just gave you :)
The Bailiff's Mace does a fractional amount more damage, but has only two thirds the Durability - which means the damage output of the Bailiff's Mace will degrade much faster and end up doing significantly less pain than the Ceremonial Mace in a shorter amount of time. That also doesn't take into account the higher Charisma of the Ceremonial Mace, which is going to affect your sales interactions a heck of a lot more often than an extra point of base damage is going to affect your combat results. The major, inescapable difference between the Ceremonial Mace and Bailiff's Mace is that the Ceremonial Mace looks merely Awesome, while the Bailiff's Mace looks Spectacular! So you have your eternal choice between aesthetics and function.
Just east of the Monastery is a bandit camp (the smoke marker on the map). There you can find a nobleman with the ring. At least in my game. Found it 3 times, since the bandit camp resets and they respawn in couple of days.
I wish you could have the stats of one armour but the looks of another like some different gamed do. Because the stats are great but it looks terrible. great vid tho
Slash damage type has the very highest armor values in the game, and thus do the least damage against just about any given random enemy. Stab comes in second with Blunt damage having the lowest armor values in the game (and the vast majority of enemies don't even bother with significant fourth-layer body armor - which is a big portion of Blunt protection). So if you're using a sword, you either want high Stab damage (which limits the vectors you can attack from cuts down on attacks getting through) or better yet a balanced blade that does both Stabbing and Slashing (which you can alternate with. Hence: St George's Sword. ....Or you could just go with a Mace.....which was the actual anti-armor weapon of that period of history.
Loving your comments man :) I need more people like you to comment facts and details, since I don't always have the time to go so in-depth with all commments. Nice going bruh! Thanks!
Herods sword is fancy n all but id think the best weapons are the ones with best variation...yeah it does 75 slash but only 40 odd pierce...you want something with both same stats...for example st georges sword has...is it 72 slash and pierce...
That's easy: Rattay and Sasau. You can find Traders and Artisans in different locations, but the things you actually need to buy, with the selection you are looking for, will be in Rattay and Sasau.
I don't make such videos of the very basics of the game. That video would be less than 1 minute long, telling you trader this and that here and there. No point doing such content, in my opinion. Main armoursmiths and weaponsmiths are in Rattay and Sasau. In addition tailors in Rattay, Sasau and Ledetchko. Cobblers in Rattay and Sasau. Blacksmiths in almost all towns. Basic traders everywhere :)
I wonder what Warhorse will do for their next game. I know they still have a year of DLC in the works, and with quite a bit of money in the bank and the success of this game, they can probably launch another kickstarter game...maybe something in a fantasy setting. Great video, btw, as it helps me to tailor what I don't already have. With 40K groschens, I've go money to spend to make the few adjustments I want.
There's lots going on in the early 1400s that they could continue on with. Honestly I wouldn't mind a game that follows on from Henry's son or such in the middle of the 1400s...but then I'm a big fan of the Sallet Helms and that style of armor which showed up in the later period. shop.royalarmouries.org/images/detailed/2/gothicSallet.jpg
Yea, Raven's Beak is a great weapon, but I consider it a bit worse than Ceremonial Mace. It has worse blunt damage, same slash damage, and a bit better stab damage. It also has somewhat worse durability, but weights one unit less and is only a bit less valuable. I'd say Raven's Beak is the second best blunt weapon, even better than Bailiff's Mace.
You are incorrect. Anyone with significant armor is going to completely ignore the tiny amounts of Stab and Slash damage from the Raven's Beak (or the Spiked Warhammer). Blunt damage on the other hand universally has the lowest total armor values in the game. Even a "well armored" opponent will have less than 30 Blunt armor, while Slashing can be over 50. So if you optimize the Blunt damage you do, you are delivering the most pain of any weapon type in the game. That means going with either Bailiff's Mace or Ceremonial Mace, with Ceremonial giving better overall performance due to superior Durability (and Charisma).
Well, the 2 top sabres are Decorated Sabre and Exotic Eastern Blade, where the Exotic Eastern Blade has a bit better stats. No one knows where to find the Exotic Eastern Blade, but its in the game files. Decorated Sabre is reported found on a Cuman captain, at a hold-up on the road.
I prefer the madgeburg sword to st georges sword. The extra dam is unnecessary, meanwhile the superior defence of the madgeburg sword is actually useful
A Nonymous but a shield compromises on damage output. Durability is irrelevant so long as its halfway decent, i seldom need to repair my weapons as it is
A shield will compromise on (two handed) Longsword damage output, but Longswords mostly do Slashing damage with the occasional Stabbing attack. Slashing armor ratings are the highest in the game. So you're spending more effort for less return while taking more incidental damage from having lower Defense and less time to react to combat slow-downs. Blunt damage on the other hand has the lowest armor ratings in the game, with even "well armored" enemies having less than 30 Blunt armor - and very few characters in the game bother with one of the elaborate outer Jacket layers that account for a quarter of the potential Blunt armor. If you want the best damage output with the best Defense, use a Mace and Shield. Also, even a small degradation of a weapon compromises damage output significantly, since you lose the Blacksmith's Son perk from Maintenance. Higher Durability weapons keep that extra 10% buff for much longer.
Nope. Trust me, I've gone thru all current armor in the game. These are the best gear available. The Hungarian Hauberk is a really good piece of armor, but its one point behind the Long/Short Nobel Hauberks. Here is a wiki page for all known chainmail: kingdom-come-deliverance.vidyawiki.com/Body%20Chainmail
I like the Hungarian Hauberk because it's only a fraction less protection than Long Noble Hauberk, has less of a Charisma penalty (like all chainmail does for some reason) and is a whole 3 carry weight lighter. v0v.
St. George's sword can also be taken from Hans Capon. I took if from the chest while doing the bathhouse quest from him. I also took his clothes, now he walks around looking like a peasant.
If you wait for where you hunt down the Robber Baron with Capon he lets you basically take everything from his chest. Including the sword.
Dank Sidious how do you get his clothes? Or what are they?
They updated it on xbox where u cant take his sword
I took his clothes in the bath house quest but he got more...

Also you can find the noble hunting sword inside the rattay swordsmith too (in my case).
There is only 1 set of Nobleman's gaunlets, you just missed that your other pair is at half health, so it blocks less.
Ah just what I needed, thank you! Now I just need to get enough coin to get kitted out.
how do you reach that level of damage? 151??? I reach just 96 with max strength, max everything, all perks
The Nurembergian Cuirass is not in "Ancient Map III" ANYMORE. It is in the grave on the opposite end of the stone fence next to the pond north of Uzhitz (middle of three).
That is basicly the Ancient map 3
I have no idea man. Not anymore. I haven't played this game in 2 years, and I really can't remember the details anymore. Sorry 😕
@@OrcCorp it's ok, thanks for the response
@@Arthad where can you find it
Hiya Orc or Orcidea 😉 love your videos, coming from a Fallout to skyrim fan, and slowly transitioning to this one; after I purchase it. Anyways keep up the good work 😄
Hey! Thanks! Hope you enjoy this one! I know I do :)
5:02 is not there i play on PS4 and yes i know the Video is 3 years old.
Note to self. I need to do treasure map 23
The music was epic
Thanks. Yea, I almost rendered the video without it, but I realized it needs the music on background :)
How you make ur a St. George's sword so good? Mine is at 96 - 96 - 9 damage
you are the best. I waited it for so long
may this top be upgraded in the future?
I'm sure Warhorse has some DLCs coming out at some point ;)
I couldn't find the mail chausses at the Sasau armorsmith, but the Sasau trader had 2 sets for sale.
Long Noble Hauberks can be found on Rattay guards.
That party-hose looked nice.
I'd say its about half way through the main questline.
Checked the quest in the questline: its quest number 21 out of 29. So rather end game actually.
Thanks! Helped out a ton! Any plans for making a decent and thorough combat guide? The basics are rather simple, but all those master strikes and combos... Anyway, would like to see more different KCD vids from you. Like your style, man.
Your armor looks nice 👍🏽
Best helm in the game is worth one gold??
Its a special DLC for early kickstarter backers and pre-order bonus. I guess they didn't want to make it a money machine for beginners.
I think they made it worthless so you aren’t tempted to sell one of the best items in the game.
Also part of the $5 dlc
And what about visibility and conspicuousness stats?
daddyleon
The "Best" weapons and armor are based on attack and defence stats.
You can also acquire the Nurembergian Cuirass off of the mysterious knight in the all that glisters quest.
No
Proof: I didn't do the quest.
How do i get the cuirass if i, say, dumped it out or sold it when i was drunk and tired one night?
Hey man, great video but i wonder how do you get thoses stats?! I mean i have same lvl, same exact gear and stats but for melee weapon i only get 87, range weapon only 128 and noise 100, why your stats are better??
Perks and skills make a different. For example the Slim Fit perk for Stealth makes all gear 20% less noisy.
i have unlock all best perks like Slim Fit and all best combat perks, so i relly don't understand, maybe you use a mod or something?
If I had any mods, it would be clearly stated in the video. I have no idea how the difference is possible, other than some perks / passive effects, or a patch has changed some stats.
Treasurer Map 1 for me does not include the Augsburg plate chasseus when found an opened. Im playing on hardcore mode. Any ideas?
Most likely a patch removed it. Can't think of anything else right now 🤔
@@OrcCorp thanks for the reply.
That might be a quest related chest, now that I think of it. Play the main quest forward and it should pop up :)
Thanks
You can also steal St Georges sword while doing the quest to go to the bath house with Hans..... or whatever his name is.
If you steal Capon's sword, it stays "stolen" for forever and a day - good luck getting searched by a guard in Rattay, the prime shopping location...
A Nonymous if you sell anything to the miller and close transaction then rebuy any items lose the stolen hand. Its only like a 2k sword so its cheap. Also my speech is at like 13 so i tell guards that secret mission thingy and they let me pass always.
TeamRamTodd how I have speech 15 and it always fails
Does the Perk "Seven mile boots" also count for the Augsburg plate chausses?
I actually have no idea. Sorry.
where do you get the long version of the Noble Hauberk?
Kill or choke the wayfaring knight. From battle sections in the main story. I got 3 during the attack on Talmberg (end game quest), just loot all dead bodies.
Has the hidden sack of extra tresure near the monastary been patched out cause im not finding it at all on ps4
That might be a quest related sack, so it appears only after a certain point in the main questline.
OrcCorp would u happen to know which quest
Most likely after the one where you enter the monastery as a monk. Closer to end game.
Damn i just start the ginger quest
Is that Warhorse helmet (and the whole set) available even without the pre-order? Cause I think I've been to Treasure Map 3's location, and I have the Nuremberg cuirass, but the helmet wasn't there. If anyone can confirm it'd be a great help, I don't like the look of my Arching bascinet.
Its DLC. Treasure map 3 is different than Ancient Map 3. Ancient Maps are DLC. Here: th-cam.com/video/jfo0m1YfGWg/w-d-xo.html
OrcCorp Thanks, gonna check it out.
Ok, it must be my imagination after i saw WS last DLC vid because they have that blur on.
I am showering you with comments, man. Where did you get LONG Noble Hauberk? :P
You can kill him multiple times, i'll come back with that sweet sweet armor
Or early on If you can't knock him out, because you lack strength - just run him over couple of times with a horse...
The warhorse helmet is in the Ancient chest 4 and not 3
Yes, of course. I don't know how I made that mistake. My bad.
I hate the look of the cloth thing over the heavy armor.
They should really re-balance heavy armor and make it take up both slots.
Is just me or is your combat jacket getting damaged very easily
(Still looks awesome though...)
Progression through Maces should go: Mace (4 Strength) -> Morgenstern (6) -> (non-spiked) Warhammer (7) -> Bailiff's Mace (10) -> Ceremonial Mace (13).
The most important thing to increase weapon damage is weapon skill. Perks and strength help too.
lol I have over 100k groschen...you need to be able to pick the very hard locks but im rattay there are storage/loot rooms in the traders houses...for example the door through the armoursmiths shop...these chests will contain most of there stock which you can buy from also in one chest there will be all the traders wealth..I found 98k gold in my game because of how many things I bought from the trader
Awesome details bro! I really need to start practising with other than swords...
and knowing my luck these are in locked chest which is impossible for me to do.
lol last guy was talking to you as you knocked him out 10:03
Where do you find tight red hose?
I can't remember where I got them. Most likely looted from a bandit or something like that.
The chest N-E of Neauhof has been patched out, where can gear to substitute the loot from that chest?
No idea. Sorry.
Where do you get long noble hauberk
Best chainmail is heavy chainmail. It has about 22-25 armor?
Nope. Heavy Hauberk has a bit less protection. Trust me, the Noble Hauberks are the best we currently have in the game.
Sasau's trader has better hose, but you have to steal it
Like I said, the hose won't matter much. There are many more valuable hose than what I present in this video.
It's a shame the best armors aren't those with gold trims(or even same prefix).
Btw, was there any jupon/combat jacket with Skalitz color(Rend and Yellow)?
Yeah but since arm plate and cuirass are covered by jacket like 95% of the time I guess it ain't that much of difference.
Well said lol but I feel like wearing my town's color into combat brings whatever glory to it even though it lies in ruins now.
Yeah in my game I got the magdeburg chest and Augsburg legs + arms with nobleman gauntlets...I also use the red black pourpoint...dunno why its named black when its red with the red nobleman hood and the 2 coloured pants...red and black with the little symbols I think with no chainmail legs...also the decorated german helm...my guy looks like a proper noble then
The point of the exterior jacket is that it accounts for a quarter of your total Blunt armor protection.
Thanks for the reply
No problem
Yup
Where can I get LONG noble hauberk ?
Choke or kill the wayfaring knight. He has one. Also during Talmberg seige (attack in the castle), when you get to it (end game), and if you haven't already done it, loot all the dead soldiers. I found 3 long noble hauberks from them. But stat-wise it doesn't matter, the short noble hauberk is identical in stats.
OrcCorp thank you for info.
The quartered combat jacket I got from the sasau tailor
Best armour for defence Noblemans gauntlets Zoul arm plates Noble man's Chainmail Decorated arming doublet Zoul chest piece Quarted arming jacket
Magdeburg Plate chassuess Chainmail Chassuess Decorated Black hose Necklace Noblemans Coif Dark Padded coif zoul Helmey
Do u have the black stealth armor mod??
Nope. I have no mods currently in my game.
Now. After 1.6 the padded coif clips through everything
Sir Illuminar The Valient yeah I know it looks ugly and really annoying
What are your stats that effect your damage? Also how tf do you get that much groschen?
from looting Bandits, Cumans, Mercenaries, the Wayfaring Knight and the Faint-Hearted Knight
Extra stuff
Then i look how long the video is
Oh now i get it
OrcCorp BTW the vid was alot of help still
I love this game! It’s a shame the game gets so extremely easy later on, one hit killing shit ain’t fun in my opinion.
Rik '84 download the dark times mod in the nexus, it'll make combat and armor more challenging
Francis Deo Dominic D Quilab Thx but i’m playing on console! Thinking about starting again without allocating skill points..
It can be annoying 1 hitting ppl but when im bored and want a challenge I get really crappy gear to make it harder again
FaMe x DLUXZzZ _ Appreciate the reply, but still.. I ran around naked using a bludgeon still wiping the floor with 5 mobs a time. I spend the beginning of the game grinding skills with Bernard, i regret it now.
Ugh use fists then lol...and np
where did you get that combat jacket...
Read at 2:59.
Name of the music?
All from the official game soundtrack:
0:30 playing - Things Worth Living For
5:30 playing - Beer and Women
8:40 playing - Skalitz 1403
Where do you get the noble hauberk
Read at 1:02
OrcCorp I mean the long one
I found mine on the 'wayfaring knight' instead of fighting him I stealth killed him and took all his gear...you could also just knock him out...that's some good starter plate gear aswell
FaMe x DLUXZzZ _ his spawn is rng I got mine from a guard I murdered but I want a legal way to get it
I got 3 during the siege of Talmberg, just loot everyone :D
Can never find the wayfarer
Me neither I've beat the whole game without encountering either, I think they nerfed it
i prefer Herod's sword to st George's because of how easy it is to one shot with it.
I think best mace is " Bailiff's mace " with the same 61 power but weight is 4 (or 4.5 something). Its one-handed so defence is not a problem
I wore everything you did the the video and I've only got 18 charisma rather than 20, with the flower pick on. I've tried washing clothes and whatnot
Maybe some patch changed the game stats a bit?
OrcCorp maybe, anyways I appreciate the content as always, keep it up!
I really liked this game. But I found really good armor/St George sword really early. And killing 4-5 ppl is a breeze. Now it's kinda boring...Maybe they could make a hard mode or something.
I'm thinking about picking this up.. toughts?
Definitely worth the money if you consider yourself a fan of this type of more difficult, more realistic medieval RPG. Tho be sure to check out some reviews beforehand, so you can make an informed purchase decision. Some players have reported massive technical problems. I haven't encountered any, so I can't speak for that side.
It hard at first then it only get easy and fun
There are a few bugs, and they can be annoying. If you are tolerant, then go ahead because the bugs shouldn't bother you, as long as you are on console. PC is a little more buggy.
DueRag u should. It’s an amazing game
DueRag go ahead deffinately a good game but it has bugs which should be patched soon enough
So did Henry have these armour pieces custom build for him?
Or is it a "one size fits all" deal?
Cause in real life, any metal armour piece would NEVER fit everyone... XD
i cant find the best helm in the game.. is it only pc or ps4 too?
The warhorse helm is an exclusive pre order helm and the other helm I found it on one of the guards in the huge guard camps near merjohed...I think it was
FaMe x DLUXZzZ _ i already have best armor but i dont have only the helmet :/
Just to point out, the Sasau Armorsmith's Milanese Brigandines are the strongest breastplates of the game. However, it is commonly confused with inferior ones such as the dyed milanese brigandine you get from the wayfaring knight. Essentially the better armorer makes better armor, and Master Ota is the best in the land.
Yea, there are some variations between the brigandines. However, the Nurembergian cuirass has the highest protection of all armor in the game.
Its easy to just check out the numbers before trying to refute the OP. Seriously. What he's stated is factually proven. Jesus man.
How many hours do you have in this game so far? :)
122 hours says Steam.
not bad
For me it seems the Bailiff mace does more damage than the Ceremonial mace, why do you rank the Ceremonial as the best?
the ceremonial mace does 3 slash and 3 pierce and the bailiff does 2 slash and 2 pierce...lol not much differance in dmg because both blunt is 61dmg aswell
Where do you get that ring?
Just east of the Monastery is a bandit camp (the smoke marker on the map). There you can find a nobleman with the ring. At least in my game. Found it 3 times, since the bandit camp resets and they respawn in couple of days.
OrcCorp ty so much
I wish you could have the stats of one armour but the looks of another like some different gamed do. Because the stats are great but it looks terrible. great vid tho
what about herod's sword? it has slash damage 75
How much money to get those armor and weapons?
Absolutely no idea. Some you can buy, some you can find.
OrcCorp Thank you for answer! but..how did you got a lot of money?? from the treasure chest? please let me know....
U should do a all weapons and armor merchant locations!
Thanks! Maybe simply KCD 2? Perhaps much like the Witcher series, where each sequel properly improves the game?
There's lots going on in the early 1400s that they could continue on with. Honestly I wouldn't mind a game that follows on from Henry's son or such in the middle of the 1400s...but then I'm a big fan of the Sallet Helms and that style of armor which showed up in the later period. shop.royalarmouries.org/images/detailed/2/gothicSallet.jpg
So, what do you suggest?
first they should add crossbows
Im hoping for a game during the 1700's during the revolutionary war and french and indian war
Ok so it’s part of the patch mine used to be silver. Then I got that mod and the armor switch took it out and still but greenish
WHat about the best warhammer? To my knowledge it is the Raven's Beak, it has better stats than the ceremonial Mace.
Whats the best saber
Well, the 2 top sabres are Decorated Sabre and Exotic Eastern Blade, where the Exotic Eastern Blade has a bit better stats. No one knows where to find the Exotic Eastern Blade, but its in the game files. Decorated Sabre is reported found on a Cuman captain, at a hold-up on the road.
I think tI found a hauberk with 18 armor but Im not sure.
Perhaps your memory doesn't serve you well. Such body chainmail should not exist in the game world.
OrcCorp actually youre right its 17
Pretty much got everything early on
I prefer the madgeburg sword to st georges sword. The extra dam is unnecessary, meanwhile the superior defence of the madgeburg sword is actually useful
I can understand that. Its a great weapon.
If you want superior Defense, go with a Shield. The outstanding quality of the Magdeburg sword is its Durability. It just keeps its edge.
A Nonymous youre overlooking one crucial point...
...using the longsword with no shield looks cool af
The Hungarian hauberk you can find on high-level Cumans is better than the noble hauberk
Nope. Trust me, I've gone thru all current armor in the game. These are the best gear available. The Hungarian Hauberk is a really good piece of armor, but its one point behind the Long/Short Nobel Hauberks. Here is a wiki page for all known chainmail: kingdom-come-deliverance.vidyawiki.com/Body%20Chainmail
nm youre right i just went back and checked again, the noble hauberk has one better defense for stab and slash
I like the Hungarian Hauberk because it's only a fraction less protection than Long Noble Hauberk, has less of a Charisma penalty (like all chainmail does for some reason) and is a whole 3 carry weight lighter. v0v.
I think the Hungarian hauberk also looks way better under armor, which is worth the insignificant armor penalty to me
