Actually, Alchemy makes A TON more but not as exciting and you need to progress through the Main quest line quite a bit to learn how to read first, so it balances out a fair bit
I've been going to Skalitz, watching the bandits and guards fight it out, then finishing off whover remains and taking as mush as I can carry. Works out around 10k a trip. The blacksmith and armourer in Rattay now hold around 20k each when i go to sell stuff to them, it's fantastic. It's also a greta way to level up maintenance as well if you have kits to repair as much of the stuff as you can before you sell it.
Why ride that far? Just use the same path henery used in the intro and sell all the metal armor and weapons to the talmberg blacksmith at the quarry. And theres about 3 beds i know of around skalitz you can save at before fighting? One in the house at the top of the hill in the valley between rovna and talmberg, a partially damaged house to the southwest of skalitz right next to the outer wall, and the house on the hill directly out the road from skalitz on the way to pribislabytz
Assumingn you have the food supply you can actually sell the armor from a trip wait around for a day or 2 hunt some game or gather herba then sleep again and the bandits/cumans/guards will repawn. Sometimes i stand on the hill and pelt them with arrows if its a bandit-cuman combo
@@tdollars8052 you can also save at the bandid farm with the stone bridge (there is some straw bed in a barn). has to be cleared first tho you can also just put them into the storage you dug out for the kunesh quest, ride out over the hill, come back again and see them have respawned so more loot. by that you can get far more than a few thousand per haul since you can leave all the heavy stuff behind and take only stuff which is worth >200gold per pound
When I first did the main quest to hunt hares, I was wondering why I was so heavy. So when I checked my inventory I went "Holy SHIT did I really get that much meat!?!?!?"
You can just kill any of the guards in a store then choke the seller and lock pick any of his chests. You need to have lockpick 10 with drunken luck. You are going to get not only the stuff he is selling if not also all the money he has.
I once came across a "hold up" between cumans vs bandits just south of Skalitz......waited for them to kill one another and then finished off the survivors. 8k in goods from their weapons and armour.
Yea there's usually a holdup whenever you fast travel from Sasau to skalitz and vice versa. The guys that spawn there have high level gear.. Same with the road going from Sasau to Ledetchko by a bandit camp and a broken down wagon
After killing the bandid leader I loot so much things, that I had the horse and my self with more than 700 weight in goods... I had to cross the entire map on foot to sell those things at Ratay. It took me 2 hours from one part of the map the other. I won around 10k, its was worthy it! xD
I have 33k left after buying myself full plate armor and all the best upgrades for my horse, all from killing bandits and Cumans and taking everything they have on them with a value to weight ratio of 10:1 or better. There's no shortage of either on the map, and unlike killing guards it doesn't ruin your reputation with any of the towns. If you haven't done the Nest of Vipers quest yet, you can farm both of them at Pribislavitz indefinitely until you complete the quest. I once made over 10k in a single trip by riding my horse in circles at one of the camp entrances and shooting the enemies with my bow as they came out, until I'd killed about 40 of them and it was getting hard to wade through the corpses and my framerate started to dip. I also always sell to the same merchants. They get rich off of your plunder and each time you revisit them they'll have larger and larger purses to buy your things with.
If you've already faced the "bandit leader" in a certain ruined village, don't forget to return to the said place to loot all the equipment that they've left. Most will be on easy chests. If I remember correctly, I sold all the stuff there for about 5k groschen.
I thought hunting was the best method and then i discovered alchemy. I can literally make about 25k per day and here's my method: For beginners: get alchemy to lvl 13 and unlock snakes oil salesman, routine i and routine ii to get to level 13, the best way is to craft the marigold potion. you'll find just about everywhere marigolds and nettles. Once you reach lvl 10 and unlock routine I, don't start autobrewing, since it doesn't rewards you with xp as much as manual brewing. It is important that you keep leveling until you reach lvl 13. Once you do the above, you essentially meet all requirements for the business. Now, I haven't got into the different potions and what they do, but i've put alot of search to find the most efficient one. And that is, the lazarus potion. Get the recipe book from the apothecary of rattay and learn it. The recipe requires 2 comfrey plants and 1 valerian. Comfrey can be found near lakes and rivers. Valerian is a very common flower. My herbalism goto location is the south side of the river of ledechko starting from the village, heading east, until you find a river that goes south to vranik. I usually collect about 350+ comfreys and 100 valerians. Once you get that amount go back to rattay and behind the rathaus there's an alchemy bench. Start autobrewing the lazarus potion. You'll make about 500 lazarus potions in the end. I sell those to the butcher trader, you can choose to sell them wherever you like. The first time you do this, it will be troublesome since traders won't have much wealth. The more you trade with them, the wealthier they become the next day. I specifically sell to the butcher trader woman because i've had some trading bussiness in the past with poached boars and cooked deers. Now her daily wealth is 21k, and karl right next to her has another 5k. Doing this 3 times, i was able to pay off all buildings of pribyslavitz and all their upgrades.
A little tip on how the Chest works for laundering your stolen goods. First when you put stuff in the chest the "Stolen" icon does not show in the chest inventory. The goods are still stolen and will show as such if you transfer them back to your inventory. Second is the time it takes for the "Stolen" icon to disappear for the item depends solely on the price of the item. More expensive items take longer to lose the "Stolen" icon than cheaper items.
Made 3.9k in one hunting trip, 2 boars and 4 deer. One of my butchers holds 7.5k at a time so it's easy ship all the cooked meat before it lowers in price. Make sure your horse has a high carrying capacity though.
Sorry the butcher I was referring too is in Ledetchko, she started with 800 and as I was clearing her out of cash daily, her wealth went up and up. Heard tales of a trader with 50k. Though I haven't seen one for real.
A note to improve the hunting-related method, with a slight spoiler tossed in: If you do the "Sheep In Wolf's Clothing" side quest in favor of the poacher, you'll become the new Master Huntsman of Talmberg and get the Master Huntsman perk that permanently removes the stolen status from game the player hunts.
One of the best ways is once your lock picking skill almost to the top level you can break into Peshek’s storage room (the room next to the barn by the cart) you can stock up on armor and whatever else is expensive and put it into his chest. After a couple of days he’ll sell them and all you have to do is go back into the chest and take out all the groschen he sold it for.
One problem I noticed about stealing from townsfolk (with homes or permanent residences) is that when I steal all their clothes from their trunk (trousers sell for freaking 400 groshen hell yeah) they dont buy new clothes to wear and just walk out in their pajamas forever. Terrible. I did this to Wolfrum Pruda and now he’s just waltzing around in his white PJs forever. Thinking about reverse-stealing some cheap simple clothes back into his chest just so I dont have to see him and ruin my immersion every time I see him cuz it bothers me uncannily much
fl333r i did it to wolfram pruda like a day ago i thought the same thing too. but he now has clothes back on hahaha he was previously running away from me on the street in pjs haha 😂 You can actually get rid of your bounty on your head by running back to your hideout and waiting 2 or 3 days you will not have a bounty anymore. I keep stealing the stuff from the armorsmith shop right in front of the shop keeper and the guard steal about 3 expensive items then leg it back to your hideout down the side of the mountain and across the stream once you get out of Rattay front gate. The guards should stop pursuing you now and you can go stash the stolen items and wait a few days... FREE GOODS & NO BOUNTY
I have had the game since day one, I've played it so much since midnight launch and I have been doing this. Knock out the guards, kill them, literally take everything on, being it to my horse and when I'm really over weight I go back to my chest, dump everything, do a few quests, wait a few days and eventually the " stolen " goods will be " un stolen " I guess I can say. Yeah you can sell them to the 2 black market guys but for me it takes a bit for them to get their money back. So I sell it to the store guys in Rattay. I walk past the guards " Yup hello " and all I hear " Oh look it's Henry! " also " Hi again Henry!"
RICOLIVES116 PS4 Yeah i been doing the same thing stealing shit off guards or shop owners and running back to the hideout, losing the guards on the way back there, then waiting like 2 or 3 days and you no longer have a bounty etc so easy haha! Good way for coin off the millers too
Very simple. What I did was kill bandits and sell their stuff in Rattay or Sassau. Progressively their armor became better so my money multiplied. After Captain Bernard started giving me the bandit quests it got SUPER easy. The 1st thing you MUST do is get a good horse Tier 5 if possible and get the biggest saddle with 4 bags so you can load a fuck ton of crap to sell back in towns and make gold.
That’s what I’m doing, the only thing that it’s ethical. One friend told me once people do in games what they’d do in life if there were no consequences. A lot of crooks in this world
TheViciousVince no it literally says if your seen by others. All stealth systems are the same this is no different. The tutorial says so and it’s clearly a glitch
Also a great way is to go to skalitz every day. theres always two groups of combatants engaging, you can kill the winner and loot everyone, usually high grade armor worn by the bandits.
When you have your Lockpicking skill at lvl 15+, the gold almost loses it's meaning. Not only you can steal all the gold from most of the traders easily (the gold does replenish every day), you can also just steal all the items you want to buy.
Also worth noting, when doing quests that require you to track someone, like when a person is bleeding, you should interact with EVERY clue. Henry will say the same dumb things over and over ("looks like blood" ), but it will give you Hunting XP, to help you get the perks to make more money.
No need for lockpick skills. Open the front door, wait till 20 o'clock, walk-in (and/or K.O the guard.) and loot all the items off the tables etc. The items on display respawn and are replaced with better items before being replaced with clones. No rep loss, no getting found out, no fine. Sell the stuff to peshek and roll in a that sweet, sweet money. I do this at the rattay swordsmith.
if you really wanna sell anything to someone, go back to the same blacksmith time and time again. They seem to accrue coin the more you sell to them and i have gotten one black smith in sassau up to 10k and the armorer there and in rattay into the 20k's
Been awhile since I played KCD but I'm starting a new game now. What I did to quickly get money was go to Skalitz and kill the bandits. Once I had enough money I bought a horse who could carry alot & noble equipment for it so my horse could carry even more. Now of course u have to be decent at combat because Skalitz could have anywhere between 3-6 bandits/cumans. I sit back and watch the bandits and cumans kill each other or the guards kill the bandits before I engage them. Easy 12k-14k from one engagement.
Alchemy theoretically could be a good source of income. You'll spend 2 nights grinding to level 10 afterwhich you'll get the automatization perk. As far as I know you can only really trade with the inn of Talmberg. If you sell a lot to them their money pool will grow (it is at 100 k in my current playthrough). You need money like this in the "from the ashes DLC" in which you rebuilt the bandit camp in the Forest north of Talmberg
Also, if you end up investing in alchemy (which you should, since the saving system in this game is needlessly weird and you can craft Schnapps galore), I'd recommend gathering Valerian and Comfrey (there are a lot of both near Skalitz) and brewing lazarus potions. You can make 4k per day just selling your stock of potions for a week with just one journey to Skalitz.
First thing I did was 1. Max herbalist in skalitz, 2. Learn to read, 3. Max alchemy and made a huge amount of laz potions and now have 57k coins from selling to millers. So yeah auto brewery with 3 for 1 is broken with that.
Best way is strip armor of all your enemies. Dont care about encumbering yourself. Just go everywhere on your horse. And then bring the loot home. Sell all armor and weps everyday in rattay cause the traders there are richer than other traders. They have abt 2k a day. Dont foget to haggle. Get the haggle perk if you can (the one that lets you haggle 1 more time before angering the trader, and the one that give you speech boost in when haggling). If traders dont have any money left go sell other loot to neighbouring villages. Repeat over and over. And then youll have abt 7-8k within 3 days.
i kinda feel sad for the wayfarer knight tbh lol at first i talked 'em into getting the girl or convincing his mom, but in the end he doesn't have any resolve to do both of em anyways. so the next time i met em i refused his duel, but instead when he walk away i sneak up on em and knock him out. and take all his armor lol. but its considered as stolen. so now whenever i met him ill just duel him to death, he would run away, i'd kill em anyways lol.
I like to farm the bandit camp to the east of the Sassau monastery. The bandits might not regenerate as fast as the guards, but it keeps your reputation intact. Approach from the north on horseback, hang around close enough to arouse suspicion or do some target practice with the bow, and once someone’s coming for you, gallop about 3/4 or 8/10 of the way to the building to the north. Usually most bandits stop before they get there. If you’ve successfully gotten one away from the rest, you can fight them one-on-one however you like. Kill them, loot them, put it on your horse. Lather, rinse, repeat. Then sell it in Sassau. Plus, you can use the flock of sheep there to practice hunting. Sassau is far enough away that the meat and skins don’t register as stolen.
The best way imo is with alchemy, if you have routine 3 you can make about 1000 merigold potion in a hour or so. Just pick merigold flowers north of peshecks mill and nettle at rattays inn. If you keep selling those potions at the neuhof stables the vendor will eventually have 18k gold to buy your pots so you can potentially make 18k per trip. Plus picking flowers level your strenght if you have the perk.
I find poaching the most quick and reliable way to make money. It's just finding enough vendors who have enough coin to spend could be challenging. You get so good at hunting, you end up traveling around different towns just trying to get rid of all that meat. I also find myself enjoying spending the time in the forests. It's a bonus for me.
It will take forever to lose their stolen status in the chest, keep it in your horse inventory and get as far away as possible from the stolen location, the distance from where the item was stolen, and it's value determine the amount of time till it loses its stolen status, and the chest is present in every city (so technically if the item is in a personal chest it happens to be in all cities and towns at the same time) ergo it will be close to wherever you stole it and will take a long time (assuming it was stolen close to a town)
There is also an add on for the hunting method which is getting the master huntman perk from a Talmberg quest line which lets you legally hunt game that way you do not need to waste time cooking the meat before selling it. Though the quest line while pretty short has a branch and while you can complete the quests you can fail to get the buff.
When you get a horse, you can go to Skalitz, wait for the groups in the village to stop fighting and then lure the rest out. If you do that right, you can trick the enemies to run far enough from you to despawn and you can go back to loot the corpses.
Do the bandit camp quests. Eventually you’ll get to the monastery where the custodian will pay you 450 per bandit camp and 625 per bandit killed. Got around 12k groschen after doing quests and selling armor.
Ruin, Raiders, and Interlopers are good money maker quests, I started at like 7k and finished them with over 33k, it does require a good combat proficiency and decent armor and weapons, especially for Interlopers though because you are killing bandits and cumans. Bandit and Cuman hunting is a lucrative business and it’s good practice for getting used to the combat.
Fashionably late by about 2 years. But on the off chance that someone in fact does watch this after me: If you're gonna do this type of stuff, that is ultimately your decision to make. But personally I'd reccomend waiting until your 2nd playthrough. Or at least later on in the game. Dont forfeit the challenge immediately. When you find yourself buying your first horse with the groschen that you earned haggling over cheese wheels and homebrewed potions, it's alot more rewarding.
In terms of stealing, stealing from the guard houses/towers also nets loads of gear. I found this very helpful early game since most loot are in easy chests. Also, the blacksmith in the northern part of Rattay has a bugged chest in his house.. the chest actually opens your horse's inventory! It's also worth noting that when you do the main quest where you kill Runt (Presly something vitz) there is tons of loot there after the battle. P.s. there is a third Miller/fence east of Sasau. He is found where you locate the Vagrant in Lost in Translation.
Best way to make money is as soon as you wake up in rattey steal a horse and make sure you have a usuable stabbing sword, go strait back to skallitz and from what I tested you get guarantied holdup spawns for a few days wait for them to hit eachother up, then ride in with the horse and use the stabbing attack a good few metres in front of them while charging. Ez and if you get lucky and brigands and talmberg spawns instead of cuman and bandit, money for days. Then after youv done the holdup each time, you can ride down to the west then south over the river where there are 2 hold up spawns on the way to sasua. MONEY FOR DAYZ
to add to this if you have quite few groschen on you you can just buy everything from traders then steal just their money from the chest so you dont have any stolen items
I just wanted to let you all know that if you’re planning on selling to Miller’s there is one Miller in every city and they might be located a little bit outside the city because they tend to be criminals like Miller Peshek however there is one in every city or almost every city. Furthermore any item that you still on a countertop will be regenerated later. I noticed that I had stolen from an armory in Sasau and had taken all of the shields and swords on display. About a week later in game time I went back and all of the swords and shields had regenerated and were put on display as well. That helped with being able to steal again and sell to the vendors for more money. Also making sure you have on your person as little as you can carry and making sure your horse is almost empty When you go to fight the bandits during the major battles in the story will let you loot corpses and take the most valuable items, store them on your horse, and sell thousands of dollars worth of Armor and weaponry once these major battle missions are over. I found that I didn’t need to pick up anything worth Less than 400 gold, and only picked up items worth 400 or more and was able to pack out my horse completely. Once the mission is over however you won’t be able to go back and Loot these corpses and pick up all of These extremely valuable items. There are probably three or four major battles that I’ve done so far in the story and each one I was able to pick up armor pieces worth 1 2 even 3 Thousand gold. Make sure you have bare minimum weight in your inventory and make sure your horse has the fine or noble saddle with four saddlebags my horse can carry 490 pounds. This allowed me to sell over 20,000 gold in armor after the mission was over. When you go into these missions make sure you leave the corpses as the battle progresses so that you can sell once the battle is over.
For the new comers if you sell your staff to Miller P and wait for couple days in game his Worth Value jumps to the double digits depending on the items you sold him and rinse and repeat but you have to be able to lockpick very hard chest to be able to reach his chest which is on hard just need to past the door.
Picking herbs at the beginning of the game can met you several hundred gold by the time you leave Skalitz. You just have to juggle items between vendors. The tailor has a bigger store of gold than the general goods traders. But he won't buy herbs. So I ended up trading herbs for potions and clothing that I would then sell to the tailor. I also bought bolts of cloth that I traded later for a profit. You have to make several trips to the chest in your home, but by the time I got of Skalitz, I had gold and my herbalism skill was at level 16. Took 3 hours, though.
3 hours of bending down picking up herbs fuckkk that... you can just steal a chest worth of herbs and potions from the witch in the woods North of Ledechko. I stole it over n over then i take the loot back to the inn and save the game lol i get about 30k worth of books, potions and herbs every 20 mins
ExtraordinaryJackson I did the same thing in Skalitz. There were plenty of different kinds of flowers to pick. I sold as much as I could in Skalitz & I walked away with over 100 coin. I didn't even have to sell the hammer, nails & axe that you have to get from the drunkard. I didn't spend 3 hours picking though & I don't understand why did you have to go back & forth to the chest. Most of the flowers were in town near the sheep. My herb level was around level 12. Once the attack on the village begun, I stole one of the Cummans horse, saved Theresa by killing about 6 or 7 Cummans while on the horse & stole their coin, armor, shoes, swords, etc. My only mistake was placing most of that gear on the horse. Once you get to the next town, you're unable to get anything off your horse which was weird. I don't know if it was a bug or something but that pissed me off. I wanted to sell the swords & wear the armor.
So I wanted to play as the gallant silver knight and as that even poaching is a nono. The bandit quest tree worked wonders for me though, it should be mentioned.
Playing with Patch 1.6.2, I have the Stealth Kill perk and Stealth level 5. I also have a dagger in the inventory. I still can stealth kill a guard. I can sneak up behind him and initiate the kill but he counters that and starts a fist fight with me.
Apollo 63 lol you steal like 2 items from the armorsmith or weapon smith then leg it back to base and wait 2 or 3 days then you wont have a bounty lol free goods and the shop owner replenishes whatever you steal so itll be back there like a week later haha ive been stealing the same cuirass's and gloves, pauldrons over n over for days hahaha
Apollo 63 Its easy hey!? 😆 i uploaded a video of it, might do this other one of thid chest you can loot everyday almost i get like 20k worth of items in one hit and walk it back to town haha but i need to get a horse thats my next priority. Im 20hours in and not even 10% through the game haha i still got like 10 hours of archery and sword fighting with bernard to do before i progress any further 😊
Easiest way is hunting. On west from Neuhof is a camp(in a camp is chest with one of the best loot which I found, I found there full set of knight armor on lvl8, and before on lvl5 i found the best sword in the game), anyway on north-west from this camp is deer hunting spot, and on north-east from camp, is boar hunting spot. This is really good place, short distance from hunting spots to camp, and really short way to Neuhof where we can buy stuff for a horse and later sell all stolen meet for big money. More than 1k under 10 minutes. Guys, remember, you must cook in camp all "stolen" meet before you sell it legal.
I steal everything from the Rattay blacksmith's upstairs area, hobble back down to Peshek's place where I've already lockpicked my way into his secret chest, deposit everything I stole, wait three days, and like magic all of those items have magically transformed into ~30k cash which he will be holding, and that I can then steal straight from that same chest. Wash, rinse, repeat. And if I want to buy anything from him, I give him extra to gain reputation, and then steal that money right back out of the chest again. Quick and easy way to remove stolen goods identifier and rip Peshek off like there's no tomorrow. This is only possible past about level 15 in lockpicking, or if you have the improved drunk lockpicking perk at around level 12??
I prefer taking out the bandit camps and loot for money, plus it builds up your fighting skills and reputation, provided this is the type of character you choose to play.
Putting stolen items in your horse’s inventory also functions like putting them in your chest. So if you don’t want to trek back to your house chest you can just transfer it to your horse and wait a little while.
I find prolonging the first spy mission when scouting the bandit fortress kite out a few bandits and Cumans then kill them fill up your horse and repeat also great way to level up your character. The bandits will respawn too like guards. It's a safer way to do your first option but not loose reputation.
Do the Bowmaster contest all the time with 70 Groschen, you earn 210 Groschen per victory and it is easy to figure out how to always hit the middle. Don't do the contest in Uschitze [Buggy NPC] or at the Talmberg Outpost [You will get arrested for shooting people]
Doing the Bandit camp quests in Rattay, Talmberg and Sasau is a great way to earn gold. After you kill the bandits at each camp you have to grab their ears, and the leaders of each camp have their own special proof like spurs. When you return to the town to tell how you killed off the bandit camps, only prove that you killed the bandit leader, do NOT turn in any ears until you get to the quests in Sasau. The reason is because Sebastian pays you 625 groschen per ear, not including Cuman Ears. Along with selling all the expensive bandit gear and weapons, this is another way to add even more money to your pocket. To make this easier, invest in a better saddle for your horse (Gotta carry as much bandit gear as possible lol) and also once youve leveled up the sword skill you can learn Master Strikes from Berand in Rattay. This helps when youre fighting the bandits in Sasau Woods and around Skalitz.
A good place to try out is at the alchemist shop in rattay. He buys everything for some reason and he has useful items for sale (herbs and saviour snaps) which he restocks daily. Buying and selling items to him will make his wealth skyrocket really fast. Instead of waiting out the day instead you should spend 1 or 2 nights out the back using the herbs you buy from him to get alchemy up to 13 at which point you can use the routine 2 and snake oil salesman perk to get extra money. At some point or another he will have hundreds of thousands of grochen which you can steal easily by getting your lockpicking to ~10 and drinking a padfoot potion picking the lock on the door leading back to his shop from inside the alchemy station room. His high value chest/wardrobe is right there with no one guarding it (at night). Side note this will reset his wealth and he will go back to having very little money available but who cares, because you won't need any money ever again.
Another good place to try heisting from is again in rattay close to the main gate waypoint in the southern castle where radzig usually hangs out. On the bottom floor there will be a guard that patrols in and out of a room with a very-hard locked door. Inside this room is a bunch of higher tier weapons, armor, and shields which you can easily steal. You just stand in front of the door and wait for the guard to open it for you and run in. Don't worry the room isn't considered "private" so eventually he will leave you in a locked room on your own. You can do this as soon as you get to rattay for the first time. Just deposit all the stolen stuff into your chest at the millers and come back a few days later so the stolen tag is gone to get some easy starting cash to use at the rattay vendors.
A bit more time consuming but I'm sitting on 34k groshen from finishing all the bandit hunts from all locations. Bring plenty of arrows and run circles around then on a horse, killing them one by one with the bow. Took a lot of time to bring all the loot back because the horse was fully encumbered and I was overburdened most of the time so no fast traveling back.
Hunting Rabbits is a waste of time, Venison is by fair the easiest game to hunt. You just have to use some better piercing arrows and they usually go down in one shot. Boar meat I think is more valuable, but they take about three arrows for them to go down. I believe a good hunting spot for them would be south-east of Sasau if memory serves me right. In one trip I saw six red hide deer and I took out 3 within meters of each other. Be sure to empty out your inventory with only the bare minimum though, your horse too, else you will be severely encumbered. My only problem with this is the meat conditions deteriorates really fucking fast.
Travel to skalitz where you will find guards and bandits fighting, help the guards the loot the bandits, it will be more than you can carry. You can additionally kill the guards as well but 9/10 you will not be able to carry all the items but generally the stolen tag goes away by the time you get to rattay. Go to the armorer you use most as he will have the highest grochen. Average income per trip 10-20k.
For people watching this - there's a boar hunting spot just north of Neuhof, you can sell and cook the meat at the nearby horse merchant. If you get a spawn with 4 boars, you can quickly kill them, cook the meat at the horse merchant and sell it to her. It nets you around 4k groschen every run. At first you might have to sell all the meat to her and just take all the money she has, and then give her the rest of the meat for free. It seems like you just invest in her, and she will resell the meat or something - she quickly always had a pool of 14k groschen for me anyway. It really only takes 5-10 minutes and you can just keep doing it forever.
Nah, you can just go there and wait for a few hours and the peeps will stop fighting and you can loot their bodies. That's how I got a full plate armour set.
@@darthhidious887 yes after its destroyed you go between morning and afternoon sneak behind them then waitimg pass time 2 hour and they finish fighting and their loot in da ground ez 3k
A very fast way if you can break in the armorer in rattay is: Buy all the stuff you can buy everything you can in the rattay armorer and steal tha money you spend from the chest above, repeat till you can carry no more and then you have a ~3k silver more AND (more importantly) all of his more expensive stuff AND they are not marked as stolen AND the rattey armorer loves you cuz you can tip him as it costs you nothing (exept an extra trip to steal your gold back). then sell to the sassau armorer ota and after a few times ota will have more money so you can sell more and more !
cuz money is the only thing that is not marked as stolen the moment you steal it and you can exchange it (quest items too but you can't exchange them) AND IF YOU STEAL ITEMS INSTEAD only the milers will buy them and they don't regenerate as much as Ota ! So that works for any merchant you buy the items and you steal the gold. (stealing the gold reduces a merchants gold tho so it's best to steal with this method from one and sell to another)
There is another miller that you can fence stolen items through, and that is Miller Simon in Sasau. He is located almost due east of the Monastery on the far river shore.
My best way of earning money is pillaging bandit camps, I usually get 1k gold per camp, and it takes me about 5minutes to take them out. I'm like level 10 and have 18k gold...
I went back to skalitz shortly after your parents are buried and what I found is every time I go there NPCs spawn and start fighting, the best scenario that I’ve found is when it’s talmberg guards fighting high level bandits. Just wait until they kill each other and if the guards win you can loot the bandits and they drop the most expensive armor in the game, the second time I did this I got most of the best in slot items in the game. I moved from leather to Noble Composite Chausses and Magdeburg gear and Nuremberg cuirass and got a ravens beak. After going there and looting maybe 5 times I had 40K and throughout the rest of the game I didn’t even pick up loot
SPOILER: There’s an easy cheese that wont ruin your reputation. The road to Sasau and Ledetchko, there’s usually a scuffle and I just loot there, run back to the mill and dump all of it in Peshek’s chest. Get his money after he sold all of it. Also the camp on Pribyslavitz, I killed all the enemies, looted them and ran back to Talmberg to put the loot in my chest. It’ll take a few rides (which I suggest you should get a horse with better capacity) but all in all, I did both of this throughout the game (I’m still at the point AFTER Prib) and I already got 300k groschen. Of course due to some side quests that led me near Skalitz, I ended up looting the skirmishes in Skalitz in passing too.
the quickest way i found was to get a horse an head back to skalitz. you will usually see two groups of people fighting. wait until one side wins ride in with the horse do a circle an ride out, but go slow have them follow you. ride away until u cant see the entrance but make sure they are still following you. ride by them as fast as you can back to the entrance an a glitch will happen an they will disappear. you can walk in skalitz an loot the people that were just killed. armor, weapons, coin, ext. there is no limit to how many times you can do this early in the game. ive started off with around 5k within 2-3hrs of playing the game.
My favorite is the archery contests. You make a lot of money for very little work. As long as you have a couple levels in archery, then this contest will be no problem for you. Stationary target at the same distance the while time. So after a couple times....you got the aim and distance down. Then you go for the advanced and master levels where you pay X amount into the pot and two NPCs do the same....they are easily beaten and the money is excellent. Plus you can collect the tournament arrows at the end of each one
Nice vid. My personal best is hunting 3-4 roe deer and cooking meat and going to letecheko or like you mentioned robbing hunter or traders chest and steal there inventory as it replineshes over night which is great though you still need few days for stolen tag to clear
So far I’ve been taking out the bandit camps and making good money there now. I get about 2,000 each camp. Also if you use the bow reticle mod, you can easily win the bow tournament. It’s only 140 each win though for master. I get 66 every time. Think that’s the highest score possible. You can just keep doing it over and over for nice honest money in the early game or if you need some quick honest money while in Rattay. I don’t prefer stealing. It makes the game way too easy. I only steal when necessary for missions. Or if I see something really interesting or of extremely high value.
1) Go to Skalitz every once in a while, or fast travel to a place on the other side of the game world. 2) Get into random encounters with bandits and/or Cumans. 3) Cheese them with the horse. 4) Jack all of their shit. 5) Go to an armorer. 6) $$$ Killing all of the bandits and Cumans in Prybyslavitz before the battle there also works. Some of them have like 45 Burgher Swords at 100% in their inventory for whatever reason.
saviour schnaps there is a field north-north-east of rattay on the way to neuhoff where i just found almost 200 belladonna. go back to rattay, nettle is growing everywhere and go make saviour schnaps. 1:100 weight value ratio is lit. over time the alchemist in rattay have 5k groschen and more. looking for game can take quite some time
At 0:47 don't need to murder guards, just go knock out tourney contestant's and steal their goods(make sure to save after each) just dump the stuff to horse immediately. there is also guard house next to Rattay monastery where you can nab all the weapons, shield, bows and halberds.(make sure to close all doors). also there is like 3 chests upstairs' to get good armors.
Easy way, put a small piece of playdough on the TV where the cross hair is at, go to the archery range and compete with two others on master, place your playdough cross hair above the bullseye, pull the arrow all the way back, and release above the bull's-eye. Super easy and lots is coin.
I usually just pickpocketed the dice player when staying at the inn overnight. They usually have about 500g everytime and it replenishes in a day or two, you can pickpocket again. If you get up at about 6am in the game they are usually sleeping in a bed right near yours, so you pick it up on your way out. Easiest way imo as you don’t really need to go out of your way to make money
The best way I found to make money is a place north of Sasau, there are 2-3 hot spots that spawn high level bandits fighting each other, they have extremely expensive gear, let them kill each other then charge the rest of them with your horse (if you're too low level to fight them). Collect the loot (don't bother with weapons) then leave the place and come back until you're loaded, sell everything to the tailor in Sasau, his money will increase like crazy after one or two turns, each one granting between 12-16k, work on hardcore, the tailor wealth is 77k in my current playthrough. I'll post more details if someone's interested.
Guys you can do the main quest until it leads you to Bernard and then he gives you side quests of bandit camps. At first few camps there are just shitty armored bandits but as you proceed, you get to fight with super hard armored ones and you get the best armor in the game from those guys. Armour merch in rattay mostly doesn't sell that good armor compared to what you get from the bandits !
go to skalitz, lure out some bandits, ram 2-3 bandits with your horse don’t even need a weapon, loot the bandits and put the armour on your horse, sell the armour and you’ll get 2k per bandit. very easy i made like 14k in an hour. Edit: large sales to the anmoursmith boost reputation with them. 3 rep boost per sale usually.
Guards dont "respawn", they are replaced... You monster!
Lol
Lol
fuck the police!
the best metod is hunt an sell dear in a 1.2 k everi hutn!! 1 day a do 4.6k
Well the guards I kill I would leave 33K in a chest at the Rattay armoury as compensation
I choked a guard and took his armor and now hes patroling in his underwear xD
Sounds hot
Yes it is a bug, the guard will even participate in the big battles without armour
You have to kill them inorde to let them respawn
Normal
“Well ya see boss what happened was...”
Why does every money making guide for this game start with mass murder?
Hey , What works in life , works in Gaming
Just play farkle.. If you understand it its a great easy and fun way to make cash, even better if you go around finding all the loaded dice.
Roams and travels across all bandit spawns, kill bandits, loot, repeat, victory.
efficiency
Actually, Alchemy makes A TON more but not as exciting and you need to progress through the Main quest line quite a bit to learn how to read first, so it balances out a fair bit
I've been going to Skalitz, watching the bandits and guards fight it out, then finishing off whover remains and taking as mush as I can carry. Works out around 10k a trip. The blacksmith and armourer in Rattay now hold around 20k each when i go to sell stuff to them, it's fantastic. It's also a greta way to level up maintenance as well if you have kits to repair as much of the stuff as you can before you sell it.
YES
@@tdollars8052 you can also save at the bandid farm with the stone bridge (there is some straw bed in a barn). has to be cleared first tho
you can also just put them into the storage you dug out for the kunesh quest, ride out over the hill, come back again and see them have respawned so more loot. by that you can get far more than a few thousand per haul since you can leave all the heavy stuff behind and take only stuff which is worth >200gold per pound
Literally hardest method to kill Skalitz bandits in full plate early game
When I first did the main quest to hunt hares, I was wondering why I was so heavy. So when I checked my inventory I went "Holy SHIT did I really get that much meat!?!?!?"
Yep especially bigger animals lol
A bunch of fat ass rabbits in the 1400’s
It almost seems like a glitch that rabbits give you so much meat.
Hah i killed i think 7 hares used 40 arrows and got about 88 meat. I kept thinking to why tf i cant run😅@craig01001
Just got this game a week ago, skalitz has high level bandits that fight with talmberg guard. They respawn quiet frequently.
Just lockpick the aurmorsmith.
You can just kill any of the guards in a store then choke the seller and lock pick any of his chests. You need to have lockpick 10 with drunken luck. You are going to get not only the stuff he is selling if not also all the money he has.
Yeah ive noticed it too. There are also randomly generated bandit camps all over the map. Usually in forests
They where aload of good shit like gold spurs rare longswords and noble armour
Trick is fast travel their get the gear fast travel way and fast travel back and repeat
I once came across a "hold up" between cumans vs bandits just south of Skalitz......waited for them to kill one another and then finished off the survivors. 8k in goods from their weapons and armour.
Yeah I've had that a bunch of times. Let the Wayfarer/Trader go first into the group of thieves and then loot whatever's left.
same, but the best ones are the traders vs cumans/bandits. they have good stuff to sell
AstartesGaming I didn't know that. They get richer. Thanks. I just Rob the sword Smith in Rat. It's easy.
Yea, I sell to the Armorer and Tailer in Rattay all the time, and now they both have 10-20k groschen to buy things with when I go there.
AstartesGaming haha yeah. Speaking of people getting richer. The main miller that looks after you has about 30k in his personal pocket now
i can confirm this is true
Elliot Smith Haha yea, mine's pretty wealthy too. I stopped using him as much once I got the perk that let me sell stolen goods to anyone though
If you've already faced the "bandit leader" in a certain ruined village, don't forget to return to the said place to loot all the equipment that they've left. Most will be on easy chests. If I remember correctly, I sold all the stuff there for about 5k groschen.
But you can collect all equipment and chest and sell? but if we do that we will be extremely overloaded you sell them?
I thought hunting was the best method and then i discovered alchemy.
I can literally make about 25k per day and here's my method:
For beginners: get alchemy to lvl 13 and unlock snakes oil salesman, routine i and routine ii
to get to level 13, the best way is to craft the marigold potion. you'll find just about everywhere marigolds and nettles.
Thanks i will try it. 😭
Bah! Take a bow and arrow and snipe those cuman whoresons from afar and profit.
Wow is this a book it's a game
Bro this method is so good. Levelled up my alchemy from 1 to 13 and now I’m making thousands. Just gotta keep selling to the same person.
Thanks for the advice, works very well. Takes some time to set up tho.
More expensive items take longer to lose the "Stolen" icon than cheaper items.
yeah I think if the item's still hot, instead of "Move to Inventory" it says "Steal"
Just go punch a guard in the face. Spend your 10 days in prison and all the stolen items will be clean.
I just get arrested to pass the time so I can sell it all
Made 3.9k in one hunting trip, 2 boars and 4 deer. One of my butchers holds 7.5k at a time so it's easy ship all the cooked meat before it lowers in price. Make sure your horse has a high carrying capacity though.
davekerr999 which butcher is this????
fl333r rattay
7.5k? That's news to me...definitely didn't have 7.5k
davekerr999 the hunting is so op it's fun getting the best weapons etc but it should be nerfed the game is not fun anymore for me because of this
Sorry the butcher I was referring too is in Ledetchko, she started with 800 and as I was clearing her out of cash daily, her wealth went up and up.
This is the most profitable way of making money, you can sell tons of fresh meat at the Inn at the Glades afterwards.
FREE GOODS & NO BOUNTY
fl333r i made like 3k in 15 min. Also knock out a few guards n take their chainmail
HabitualGamer YT Does this hurt your reputation?
Sil van Broekhoven yes it does man
Haahhahahahaha
Conclusion: there is no way to make serious honest money in middle ages
First play through: peaceful doing the story with minimal stealing.
Second playthrogh: murder everything and everyone to get money and levels
Same.. I’m on my second play through now.
Good way for coin off the millers too
Good guy during the day, cold killer and thief at night
I u knocked him u don't need to kill him he won't remember and u can stole all his stuff
A lot of crooks in this world
Thank you for this tip....I just got the game on PS Now and I don't feel right with his thievery and murder method.
@@eduardofernandezdiaz5264 1000% Brother
@@eduardofernandezdiaz5264 Your friend is wrong, there are tons of things I do in games I would NEVER want to do in real life.
When given the chance, I always help out the poor, but I'll rob and steal everything else. I'm more chaotic good than just straight up evil lol
I head to skalitz and wait for the 2 groups of bandits to fight each other off, then I kill the leftover bandits and loot all the gear to sell
Smart man
Very smart
i believe you losing reputation for sneak kills and knock outs is a bug. if there's no witness, how can people know it was you?
OpposingForces think of it as gossip. People cant prove its you ( so no bounty) but people suspect cuz ur crouching all the time
no its a glitch
they had their eyes open in the animation if you knock them out in their bed i think... maybe thats why ?
TheViciousVince no it literally says if your seen by others. All stealth systems are the same this is no different. The tutorial says so and it’s clearly a glitch
fl333r guards will randomly run up and search you even though you may not be carrying anything stolen, you might just look suspicious haha
Don't need to level 15
It need only Level 11 and use perk "Luck of the drunk" to open Very hard chest.
@@forcesidereason6685 Or use a padfoot potion
@@forcesidereason6685 not even lvl 11 i just needed the luck of the drunk and I got to unlock everything
Use the "wild at heart" perk in the hunting three if you are a bad archer, you will be able to get really close to your prey before they react to you.
Also worth noting, when doing quests that require you to track someone, like when a person is bleeding, you should interact with EVERY clue. Henry will say the same dumb things over and over ("looks like blood" ), but it will give you Hunting XP, to help you get the perks to make more money.
if it helps, if you level up alchemy, you can collect flowers and brew potions (e.g. Vitality) I can get up to 30k/hour.
i just buy the in game curren.. oh shit this is not EA or Blizzard
I'm stuck in a kingdom Come Deliverance vortex. This is my 5th KCD video in a row here..lol I subbed too
Doing Ruin/Raider activity is pretty lucrative too. Great video thanks
Super easy way is repeatedly killing the faint hearted knight and selling his stuff
I noticed that poor guy I even did the traning in river with him
I can’t even find the guy
Best way is strip armor of all your enemies. Dont care about encumbering yourself. Just go everywhere on your horse. And then bring the loot home. Sell all armor and weps everyday in rattay cause the traders there are richer than other traders. They have abt 2k a day. Dont foget to haggle. Get the haggle perk if you can (the one that lets you haggle 1 more time before angering the trader, and the one that give you speech boost in when haggling). If traders dont have any money left go sell other loot to neighbouring villages. Repeat over and over. And then youll have abt 7-8k within 3 days.
i kinda feel sad for the wayfarer knight tbh lol
at first i talked 'em into getting the girl or convincing his mom, but in the end he doesn't have any resolve to do both of em anyways. so the next time i met em i refused his duel, but instead when he walk away i sneak up on em and knock him out. and take all his armor lol. but its considered as stolen. so now whenever i met him ill just duel him to death, he would run away, i'd kill em anyways lol.
Yofadhli Ahmed Kahirawan i get 30k in 15 min with a different method
HabitualGamer YT nice :)
1.train your lockpicking skill
2.wait untill everyone sleeps
3.empty all chests
4. travel another location
5.repeat 3 and 4 untill your conscience stop you.
6....
7.profit.
Just lockpick every chest that your stats allows :)))
Just fast travel to the start area there is always battle there and some dead guys laying around so you can just pick their stuff until you rich
I just want everyone to know i just saw the weirdest panda express advertisement
Thank you for the information
I found that the hunter in Rattay bought my stolen meat.
Just like in Skyrim, it’s actually Alchemy where the big money is at.
And you won’t break your back hauling heavy stuffs back to the city.
how so
When you get a horse, you can go to Skalitz, wait for the groups in the village to stop fighting and then lure the rest out. If you do that right, you can trick the enemies to run far enough from you to despawn and you can go back to loot the corpses.
Found new one. Kill bandits. Esp after new patches. They have an assortment of armor. Over by skell found bandits in high end plate. Made a fortune
Do the bandit camp quests. Eventually you’ll get to the monastery where the custodian will pay you 450 per bandit camp and 625 per bandit killed. Got around 12k groschen after doing quests and selling armor.
Ethan Lewis where can I find the bandit camp quest?
Colonel fuhrberger captain bernard
Mine was 900 per bandit camp and when you do the beginning quest for the captain save the ears and you can sell them to the custodian for 625
Dalton Yost I only get 50 per bandit camp wtf
Colonel fuhrberger Really when you got to the monastery you should get 900 per camp because the bandits are a lot harder
3 millers one at Rattay mill, one close to Nehouf, and one near Sasue
The take stolen goods
Fashionably late by about 2 years. But on the off chance that someone in fact does watch this after me:
If you're gonna do this type of stuff, that is ultimately your decision to make.
Andrew Hyde I did that mission yesterday, do you thing their corpses are still there?
Sergio Ramirez Rojas corpses won't be there, but all the weapons should be. Plus there are some locked chests with good loot
ExtraordinaryJackson 3 hours is not bad at all. I should do that next playthrough.
ExtraordinaryJackson three hours for a few hundred gold? I could get more than that in about 20 minutes clearing a bandit camp.
ExtraordinaryJackson sell everything to the Millers lmao! 😂 They dont discriminate
Ok, just stealth-killed a guard in Rattay. Previously I was trying to do it to one of the guards guarding the Neuhoff stables.
Hey Upper. Can you make a video on how to rob the armoury and weapon shops???? I always get caught trying to rob these stores!!!
Apollo 63 lol you steal like 2 items from the armorsmith or weapon smith then leg it back to base and wait 2 or 3 days then you wont have a bounty lol free goods and the shop owner replenishes whatever you steal so itll be back there like a week later haha ive been stealing the same cuirass's and gloves, pauldrons over n over for days hahaha
ill make a video of it on my channel a bit later. Its sooo easy! Waiting for a few days is the hardest part cause its slowwwww AF
HabitualGamer YT thank you 😊
Apollo 63 Its easy hey!?
This video is insanely helpful and I needed something like this to help pay for the new DLC stuff so thank you! Dropping a sub
Don't do the contest in Uschitze [Buggy NPC] or at the Talmberg Outpost [You will get arrested for shooting people]
Jordlberger yea, that was my suggestion. Plus you get all the tournament arrows. And it's repeatable, though idk how many times
Can you break into shops and loot them without dropping reputation? Maybe somehow by not being seen?
A bit more time consuming but I'm sitting on 34k groshen from finishing all the bandit hunts from all locations. Bring plenty of arrows and run circles around then on a horse, killing them one by one with the bow. Took a lot of time to bring all the loot back because the horse was fully encumbered and I was overburdened most of the time so no fast traveling back.
I found the best way is to not take part in major battles just take all the loot off the body’s instead
You don't need to kill them knocking out is an option if you have full stats for stealth
GrammarNazi Lol then take it straight from there to sell to the miller's or a town haha dont fast travel....
I one shot boars with better long distance arrows while using a longbow
Gotta get that Hunting perk that makes meat spoil less quickly
Isn't that an alchemy perk?
Yeah, that makes since, I use the Dogwood hunting bow which is weaker than the longbow.
And if your short on space and only grab the highest value items you can still make about 8k per trip
Go ta Skalitz, Always have skirmish in town then kill all of them and loot that’s it
Nah, you can just go there and wait for a few hours and the peeps will stop fighting and you can loot their bodies. That's how I got a full plate armour set.
@@fayezkhalil2044 after its destroyed?
@@darthhidious887 yes after its destroyed you go between morning and afternoon sneak behind them then waitimg pass time 2 hour and they finish fighting and their loot in da ground ez 3k
you can always kill the guard from the armor smith when hes slepping
Ah yes, slepping
(stealing the gold reduces a merchants gold tho so it's best to steal with this method from one and sell to another)
Reputation is never a problem for me, cause I never get caught. Stole over 100k worth of items from the stores in Rattay.
Thank you so much
Steal from the armourer simple its like 20-30k per round
Once i rob brother nicolaus in sasau there was 12k groschen in his chest plus lot of stuff i sold him like weapons and armour
SPOILER:
There’s an easy cheese that wont ruin your reputation.
I've been doing that first step since the start of the game
6) $$$
Killing all of the bandits and Cumans in Prybyslavitz before the battle there also works. Some of them have like 45 Burgher Swords at 100% in their inventory for whatever reason.
saviour schnaps
there is a field north-north-east of rattay on the way to neuhoff where i just found almost 200 belladonna.
go back to rattay, nettle is growing everywhere and go make saviour schnaps.
