    Love the hi-test rim brake weapons you are showing! People forget all the great rim brake race bikes FULL Builds under 6.8kg easy! 5.5kg full builds are relatively easy. Makes it hard to buy a 8kg anything after you ride one of these!

      Your so right...glad I still have my rim brake bike much faster and aero than these heavy disc brake bikes.

    They went to disc brakes to fit wider tires and make more profit. The cables at the cockpit are run poorly, no reason to have those bends like that. When done correctly hidden cables are fine. Really nice bike, specialized should bring this back. I had to build a custom bike to get one like this. Tell him not to give it away, this thing is money. ;)

      @GCPerformance18  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yea I forgot to mention that as well another big thing was tire clearance these bikes could fit a big tire because of the direct mount brakes

    Great bike! Disc brake bikes are amazing too....but for road bikes, they are a solution to a 'problem' that does not exist.

      I myself prefer disc brakes over rim brakes, I just feel more confident in a group to be able to suck someones wheel, and know that I have the right amount of brake to make a move if something happens at high speeds

    Nice bike. It's not difficult at all to build a sub 7kg room brake bike. My 58cm 2003 Cannondale CAAD7 custom painted and rebuilt with Sram Red AXS groupset, Cane Creek eebrakes, and 50mm Winspace Hyper wheelset comes in at just under 7kg fully loaded with cages, pedals, Garmin mount and rear light mount.

    First off the bike looks great! If you want to take it to the next step have them sand the aero fly bars to bare carbon and clear coat. It has the same layup as the frame and will be similar to the wheels. I did it with my aero fly bars and took my bike to the next level

    There are fully functioning bikes sub 5kg. So 6.7 is…heavy!? And weight is not that important anyway. How about aero?

    • @GCPerformance18
      @GCPerformance18  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      this could be easily 5kg if u change out wheels ands tires and all this other crap to make it a weight winnie bike but this bike is 6.7kgs with massive aero wheels so not only is it super light but the aerodynamics of this bike is very nice too, maintains top end speed very eassily sdo u do not have to work harder

    to all the SL7 fan boys, look at cut out of the frame so the rear tyre tucks in for aero gains...now look at a SL7...it's trash. just another example of why these new generation bike are trash. these SL6's will totally wipe the floor with any 2022 disc brake bike.
