After a long long time.... here comes a movie with such a high voltage and spectacular music & performances that will leave you spellbound. Thanks Subodh Bhave for bringing back the magic and old memories of Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande and Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki and obviously Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for their version. For the first time in my life that I think Sachin Pilgaonkar has acted brilliantly and was outstanding as "Khaan Saab".This soundtrack gonna be in the playlist for a long long long time. Whatta brilliant singing by Shankar Mahadevan, Rahul Deshpande, Divya kumar,Arjit singh n Shivam Mahadevan..... KATYAR nakkich KALJAT GHUSALI.......

So its better to watch the movie in subtitles. Also maharashtrians don't exactly hate biharis, they only hate the arrogant ones besides we've always been open to other cultures :)

I'm impressed with the movie though it is Marathi cinema but entire Hindustan must watch the movie and all will understand it very well because other half language is urdu and hindi. all artist have justified their roles to optimum. Especially Sachin (as Khan Sahab), Shankar Mahadevan as Pandit ji, Subodh Bhave, Pushkar and all other co stars. For first time director Subodh Bhave has done remarkably well and it is meticulously well directed. Watching this movie once is not enough but to watch it several times to get the essence of it's musical depth. The theme is very old and the entire team has worked hard to keep its beauty intact. Two characters are shown as Khan sahab talented and arrogant whereas Pandit ji humble and intellect both have acted class. I want to possess the musical album and keep listening to it all time. Its a art film. all parameters are exceptionally well exhibited.

i just cannot find the names of the accompanying musicians anywhere !! come on, mastery over a musical instrument is much more difficult compared to singing, so they at least deserve a mention. especially the phenomenal sitar in many songs, especially in Aruni Kirani. such flawless meends and gamaks. !

Actually, this drama is based on the actual story of the 2 singers from the Agra Gharana. Kudos to Purushottam Darhwekar Ji for singing and writing such a drama. The drama shows the hustle of the 2 singers from different Gharanas. Also, in movie, they completely changed the perspective of the drama. Though I liked the movie

Actually, this drama is based on the actual story of the 2 singers from the Agra Gharana. Kudos to Purushottam Darhwekar Ji for singing and writing such a drama. The drama shows the hustle of the 2 singers from different Gharanas. Also, in movie, they completely changed the perspective of the drama. Though I liked the movie
