What a beautiful, authentic couple you are! I enjoyed this so much & the concepts you discuss re feminine & masculine energies, are concepts I’ve been digging dip into since my divorce in 2017. Alison Armstrong is a great resource for others as well, who truly want to understand the differences in men and women and how we can better understand and relate to one another. I wish I had learned these as a young woman, and I am passing along this wisdom to my daughters (both in early 20s). I came out of a marriage that involved a husband w alcoholism and so I had to be in my “masculine energy” for many of the years we were together. I was often resentful and exhausted. So now I’m relearning what it means to be in my feminine energy and it is freeing in many ways. I would love to magnetize a man who has done the work and who can lead and be the “protector, provider” etc. Someone like you, Jake, would be a gift to find. I’m living my life with love, joy & an open heart. I know that man will show up one day! Thanks again!
I have been so in my masculine pretty much my whole life and it is so antithetical to me. I was hypermasculine in my marriage. Probably that was one of the factors to its demise even though there was so much bigger factor. I am absolutely loving the concept of being fully in my divine feminine and letting a man take over. I am so completely depleted from this overtaxed life. I never realized that this is what men want. I always felt that I was an imposition if I was asking for a man to do anything for me. I love knowing now that that is actually what he wants to do. I'm single but I am allowing myself to let men do things for me. Particularly while I am dating but even in day-to-day life I try to ask a stranger who is a man to help me with something.
Thanks for sharing with us both of you so amazaing insights i appreciate, I think your wife is very smart woman full of wisdom. She can have her own TH-cam channel and teach women i love the way she approached
My dad told me: "yuh need to toughen up some". ( Me to myself): how's that workin' for yuh Cath ? ***also, my dad didn't want kids to begin with. Me: great. **& man (Pardon the pun), this stuff can get so flipping complicated.
You’d be surprised what’s possible when you deeply understand masculine and feminine dynamics. Avoidant attachment is a defense mechanism, not an unbreakable wall. When a woman embodies her feminine essence with confidence and emotional intelligence, even the most avoidant man can feel the pull. But at the same time, sometimes it won’t work with that man, and that’s when YOU have to make a decision. Is he truly right for you, or is he just familiar? A confident, feminine woman doesn’t chase; she chooses because she has self-worth.

4:08 Or! It wasn't safe to be feminine when i was growing up and so i learned from a sadly young age to step into the masculine.
15:40 being feminine and soft has been used against me many times over the years. The message was clear- feminine isn't good and certainly isn't safe.
You will never be able to do this to narcissistic avoidance attachments personality.
