I don't know. Original N64 cartridges either had an internal battery for saving or they saved in the Controller Pak which indeed had a battery for retain data. But these cartridges are made nowadays with current tecnology, so i cannot say how save games.
First, I've seen people make it possible trade Pokémon from Gameboy to Gameboy Advance games. Now, I see people making N64 versions of Gameboy Pokémon games. What's next, Gamecube versions of Gameboy Advance Pokémon games?
theres not really a need for that as you can play the official cartridges of the gen 1, 2 & 3 games on a gamecube using the gameboy player, what would be cool would be getting the ds and 3ds pokemon games on the wii u
I would love to do this with a handful of GBA games I have. They’re only slightly larger file sizes than the GB and GBC, but still way smaller than what an N64 cartridge can hold so they should work just fine.
The only thing I dislike is the fact that Green is likely a recolour of Red/Blue and not actually even close to Green version. And Crystal was a ROM Hack and not the base ROM or seemingly an emulated version like Yellow. Which means none of them are worth playing if you're a purest. At least Yellow seemed to be mostly original just with nice QoL features from emulators.
Now I want all German versions on N64. With German PAL cover etc. For my PAL N64. Besides Green of course, I don't think anyone translated that to German.
you never tried this on the super nintendo Kevdog? super gameboy cart has been a cheap find for a long time now and unfortunately with this N64 method you just get black borders on the side, with the SNES it fills in the sides with pokemon related borders
Who needs the N64 when you have the super Nintendo with the super game boy player (I think that's the name, I have it somewhere but I really don't know where it is haha)
Don't get me wrong stuff like this IS cool, but what's the point without multiplayer battles and trading? Can you even complete the dex with these versions?
Another good thing about those games is that there probably isn't a battery that will eventually die and the save file dies with it.

Even if it is a Flash chip or something, the clock for Gen2 still needs a battery to run properly.
@@frikifectonotengo6609battery was only ever used for the rtc for animal forest. N64 carts used flash memory or the controller pak

@Blaziken06 wasn't there a virtual console version of the pokemon ranger series on the wii u?
@greenflash8626 yeah but i was thinking of like dppt/hgss/bw/b2w2/xy/oras/sm/usum

These are pretty dope recreations. I'd totally be down to get an N64 again just for these.
Ya I have red version for N64. It’s sooo cool because it’s all in colour and the sprites look better
Having a physical copy of Radical or Omega Red would be dope

There is now a new low budget game on Steam that combines concepts from Pokemon and Digimon. Its called D.A.M. Champion and it was surprisingly fun.

Pokémon Green never had an English version that was ever released so I don’t know how they were able to do that.
"The left yellow button" I am officially old
Is there any manner of doing trades?
Unfortunately no but playing a GBC game on a big screen is pretty sweet
No way, this is what I needed
That is super cool!

Unfortunately I never grew up with an SNES, that was one of the systems we never got :(
I have seen those borders online, super cute!
Yes, they are real. I have RBGY and GSC on N64 carts.
Does this work on a Pal n64? I have a n64 passport plus 3 but Idk if it will work.
This was a banger video! :)
It should've been me, Not him!!!
Would be cool if you could load a save from the game boy reader for the rumble pak slot
bro where can I buy these
oh didn't realize the nicest finds link was the one
eBay works too
I looked, and fir me alittke to pricey sadly, but I like that it's a option for those that can afford to overpay alittle
Dude... volume at 4!? My ocd just screamed. Volume must end in 5 or 0.
Nah no running in og crystal. Cool af tho

Now will this run on an Anolog 3d?
Probably.
How would you trade Pokémon on the 64?
How does trading work? Transfer paks?
Yes the box
Anyone having problems with saving non of the ones I got wull save
but can you trade with it between games like the n64 coliseum?
Not possible with this, unfortunately
Damn, so it finally happened... and you got 'em for free?! Lucky
Nice but illegal lol
i need modded n64 stadium 2 on cartridge willing to pay if i find one haha
Can you try to trade to a gen 2 cartridge
Cool Video
Thanks! It was one of my shorter ones, but it didn't need to be much longer
Don't get me wrong stuff like this IS cool, but what's the point without multiplayer battles and trading? Can you even complete the dex with these versions?
Saw these at a flea market but the vendor wanted $30 for each so he probably makes a killing. I didnt buy any since they are obviously counterfeit.
Can i have just one!? 😂
I got those ones
Analogue Pocket with a Dock will do all this. Wireless controller (xbox/ps/etc) and bam!
It’s the novelty that makes these cool.
Hacked Pokemon Stadium
No they are not real. They are hacked roms put on a n64 cart
ssickk
First to like
I need it
