Tilting Antenna Mast and Tower Part 4

  • In this part I drove an 8 foot ground rod into the ground near the base of the post. Then I strapped the antenna mast, Radio bench and the cabins circuit breaker panel ground rod.
    Looking to keep everything well grounded and try to dissipate some the RF coming off my computer and monitors.

    That is correct..... all ham operators are taught to ground to their home electrical and if your far away from your house ground road ever 15 ft to 30ft on the way to your house grounding... smart man

    You should see how much quit it will get once you put up a beam or even a single solid dipole you can rotate

    Most people use vertical antenna`s, I suggest to buy a simple Antron 99 and get a better signal in /out

      Hey Vic.... I think I might have done a bit better. I got a Tram 1498. Every review says it's better than the Solarcon (Antron)A-99. Thnx for the suggestion. I appreciate it.

    To keep from ground loops, run sep grounds to your buss instead of daily chaining to each one
