Even if you don’t have credit history car or housing loan can be availed …NBFC or private finance companies gives you but interest rates are higher …so small town or villages who have never heard of credit history they get loan from NBFC and it’s a huge market as compared to streamline loans from SBI or hdfc

the service history and odometer reading are the main points on which there is a lot of scamming going on in pre owned cars in India.. there is always a risk.. In USA the records and other thing seems to be far more trustworthy hence the demand for pre-owned vehicles is more.

Wow!! I sold my 2006 Toyota Sienna with 60,000 miles in 2013 for 11,000
And this is a 10 year old Kia !! Costs have increased a lot! In early 2000 one could get a 60,000-80,000 mile 3-5 year old Camry in $8000-$9000
I got 2011 Toyota camry in 2016 for 8500 will clean history and good condition. 12000 for 2011 in 2021 seems too much. But, i think sonce he is buying maybe certified pre-owned one, it has definitely additional charges as compared to peer to peer pricing. Also may be miles are too low on car, dats a big factor too.
