Appropriate question! Which will go unanswered while being frustratingly ignored.

who am i to question bill mott? but 4 weeks off was not enough for arthurs ride? lets compare that to blue point a couple of years ago. blue point won a g1 on wednesday at royal ascot and came back that saturday 3 days later and won another g1 against the best turf sprinters in the world but 4 weeks isn't enough time to recover from a race?

@@jameschan9634 i am a big fan of bill mott. but growing up in this dating back to the late 50s. i remember horses like native diver running every 3 weeks for 8 months straight every year for 5 years and breaking track records or coming close to track records 10 times a year for 5 years.

@@rick-ug3rd I'm sure you realize that times have changed, racing the horses is secondary to breeding. Frequent racing might be done with claimers, but not with horses worth millions of dollars. Quick turnarounds are still happening in Europe, but only after long layoffs. I'm sure you know all this. Good Luck, hope your BC is successful, and enjoyable, even in defeat.
