I froze it at 2:53 and was blown away. That looks like a mini horse next to her. I knew she was really big but this is a huge eye-opener!! Love you big, beautiful, powerful, undefeated Zenyatta:) You are a heartbreaker, babe! You have left a long, long trail of them. My heart, of course, will always be yours.
I was there that morning and it was one of the most chilling experiences of my life. After her gallop as they bathed her I stood directly in front of the great mare, no more than 2 feet away. I felt her hot breathe as she exhaled. I stared directly into her eyes and for what felt like an eternity she stared back. What I saw can hardly be described in words. I can't say I'm a believer in God, but what I saw in those eyes was something divine. I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life.
What an interesting video. Thanks so much for putting it up. The close-ups of her eyes just make my heart ache with appreciation for this gorgeous creature. She is truly a gift from God. She also is a product of her environment, the very special care and attention she receives from Mario and John, Steve, and all the others who love her so much. It's all just AMAZING. She's a BLESSING!
Absolutely ACE video, dude! Really, really enjoyed that. Very many thanks for posting it. Looking forward immensely to the Hirsch .............. from an Irish Zenyatta fan! :)
She has what I would describe as "soul"....she is very soulful. We tend to humanize her, but I think it's because she is so personable to everyone. Just watching her, focusing on her huge presence, while there is a sense of awe, there is also a sense of calm. My blood pressure goes down just watching her. I read that the horse Buckpasser was considered to have perfect conformation. He was around in the early 60s. I have compared them side by side, and she looks better than he did, to me.
Can't wait to see her in her final race at the Breeders Cup I want her to win..but I've followed horse racing since 1973 and the odds are against her bigtime. This is the sport of "broken hearts" I hope this amazing girl changes that!
I love to watch horse race on tv! I love horses they are loveable; caring; warmth; i Detest Animal Cruelty! Animals Have Rights Also! I am watching video November/ Autumn 2024! Zendayatta had already retired from racing; she was living in a farm when accident occured she felt back wards she broke neck died instantly on spot! She loved to be on.spot light; shake it up; she loved taking pictures; before the race started! The Holidays Are Approaching!😢😢😢😢😢😢 Haters Need to.stop.fughting with Demons!😢😢😢❤
@MrNativeDancer Actually the Oak Tree meet is no longer at Santa Anita and has been moved to Hollywood Park. Zenyattas next race is something like October 5th at Hollywood Park.
she is a breathtaking specimen of a T-bred, exuding confidence, class and a professional demeanor....i freely admit that i dissed her all of last year, until she won the BC....Rachel has disappointed us in 2010, but i still maintain that Zenyatta cannot just be like a football team with a perfect record in a dome stadium, she must come to Belmont in the fall and beat whoever dares show their face before she can claim immortality....sorry, West-Coasters, its not a NY attitude or anything
@cgambler864 Actually it is. There's nothing about Belmont that makes racing there a requirement for immortality. Truly, there isn't. If she goes to Churchill and acquits herself well there, that is enough.
Z is the sweetest most precious horse the world has ever seen!
Thanks so much for a wonderful visit with our girl. I couldn't survive owning Zenyatta cuz my heart would burst with happiness:)

@jrg1948 I'm glad my heart isn't the only one aching open and breaking open as I gaze into her eyes! She's remarkable.
In the 2010 BCC Baffert started rooting for Zenyatta when he saw Looking at Lucky getting tired. That's pretty kewl. :) I think he's a real admirer.
The proud parents, very nice, thank you. She sure has a good time.
Her beauty makes me weep... I love her dearly.
she is a queen...forever

Baffert: " OH I've been spotted!" *runs away*
So easy to love! Look how big she is standing next to her beloved companion Cootie. I think that was his name, if not someone pls correct me...lol! ❤
Zenyatta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What height is The Mare ?
17 1/2 hands...taller than Secretariat
The video was shot like whoever was holding the camera had Parkinson's Disease.

god she is beautiful!!!!!!!!
she is very big for a filly
There is something defective about anybody who can't appreciate that animal.
Photos of Zenyatta are wonderful, but these photos that people are taking all these other people are disgusting
Great mare but put all her foals can't even make one. Sad
