Finally found smaller shad in Fort Cobb cove this morning around the boat ramp all the way over to the east where the gravel ramp is. Just if we could have caught hybrids. 😆 just a few drum this morning.

Fished through the rain Saturday morning on Liberty. Got soaked to the bone (phone just tried to autocorrect that to Boone 😂) but caught a mess of crappie and sandies using minnows on a drop shot.
Also tossed around my cast net and got a bunch of gizzard shad as a first for me. I’m ready for a bait tank now.

@@BooneBoys agreed 100%. However, in defense of artificial lures I will point out that despite our pickled blue shad fiasco we did pretty good on Sooner, especially for the white perch.
