Outbreak is the best resident evil game because it’s so real. 4 characters helping each other in this nightmare and if they all die but one it would just be one left standing which will be terrifying to be alone.
God dam this intro, has to be the best RE intro ever that not many RE fans got to see. The Beautiful music giving a such a impeding sense of doom and despair. The transitions of the hopeless fight and death with G to cellular life. The ending full of the doom to kill so many innocents. So painful, so tragic, yet so beautiful.

@Javed Khan In fiction, canon is the material accepted as officially part of the story in the fictional universe of that story. I.e: Resident Evil Outbreak's characters and stories did happen during the Racoon City Outbreak and canon to the Capcom Universe Storylines, but Alice from the movie isn't canon to the Capcom Universe Storylines so did what happened and even the cameos (add that the game characters are OOC in the movie). Another example and easier is RE2: Remake Ghost Survivors isn't canon because what canon/happened in the Capcom Universe Storylines are they are dead as you can see in the main game.
In the original continuity (RE1/REMake - RE2(original)/RE3 - Code Veronica - RE4 - RE5 - 6 - 7 - Village), yes. You can find news articles written by Alyssa Ashcroft in RE7, implying that her and the other Outbreak survivors are not only canon to the story, but that they all escaped Raccoon City without Umbrella Inc. even finding out.
