Landing on the tree, that gave me a good chuckle. I think the game was just messing with you at that point 🤣. I'm enjoying this series, even the struggles (which can be quite funny. Probably not so much for you at the time 😜). Both third and first person view look good, probably using both views will help in different situations. I gotta say, the sounds of the mechs walking is anxiety inducing! After that ending, can't wait for the next ep Don!

The hint of RP elements are awesome. So much better than a dry mechanical play-through. Maybe the devs should make trees climbable, especially if the hit boxes on the trees allow you to land on them...lol.
A lot of people are recommending that you craft a bow. I think that should be your next goal (that is, after surviving your current predicament), seeing as melee combat is always an inherently risky proposition where the odds are not in your favor. Really liking this series; the suspense is killing me.
I love playing Scum almost 1000 hrs nothing compared to some lol. Personally i like to use both third n first person view. Third when walking around n searching and first Person when fighting puppets. So really its your preference anyway great vid keep them coming👍😁
I don't know, just asking. But, could you go to the water hole where you died and see if the dead body is there to loot? Also, I'm not getting the idea of an airplane. Aren't you exiled to this island? If you could just jump on a plane, what is to prevent you from escaping? I've seen boats in the game, but have no idea what happens if you try to sail off the edge of the map. Also, what happens if you try to walk off the East side of the map. The map doesn't seem to be surrounded 100% by water. The right side looks like it should go somewhere. Saying you need Vitamin D reminds me of that Meme (video) "HE NEEDS SOME MILK!" I'm not sure why the puppets are there on the island. But if it is some kind of virus or disease, I wonder why there are no puppet animals. Could you imagine how terrifying a puppet bear would be? My preference between 1st person and 3rd person is that, I like to see 1st person when a player is exploring a town or any active area. But, when traveling on the road or across the landscape, I like to see 3rd person. It gives us an idea of what the character looks like what his clothes look like and his equipment like guns and weapons. But, when it's action time, nothing beats first person. Crafting items, 3rd person. We want to see him making the items.
Worth a shot! And as far as the edge of the map goes, I believe it's 100% walled off (might be wrong on this) and I assume there is some type of "forcefield" surrounding it that would prevent us from leaving. I'm already scared of the regular animals, I don't wanna think of puppet animals 😂
I dont want to say too much lol😂 because I want you to learn and enjoy yourself but when you die take the time to make the basics...improvised back pack, bow and at least 12 wooden arrows to defend yourself. Using melee weapons not a big fan bescause drains your stamina too fast and can get easily overwhelmed by puppets but guess you know that😂😁👍
In all fairness airplanes in scum makes zero sense. You are a prisoner dropped off as punishment for your crimes. If you could access aircraft then you could just fly away to absolute freedom. Lol

And thats the problem with 2 handed tools like the sledgehammer and pickax. They're so slow. Thats why you couldnt hit. If you swing, and your animation is interrupted, then it stops. In melee, speed matters. Also, if (when?) running away from puppets, run through bushes, you can often lose them that way, and also run over and jump off rocks. They will too, but they will always stumble, gaining you time, and the fast. skinny ones, can actually kill themselves by jumping off rocks. Btw...there is no "higher level". Whether you have just started playing, or whether your are armed up the wazoo with every possible accessory and weapon you can get, you can still die in a heartbeat. Think, suicide puppet. Or your swamped by 3 or 4 of the buggers and your weapon jams, or you attract the unwanted attention of a sentry mech. Higher level? Yeah ... nah!
Yes, they pulled out vehicles for the rework. Only two vehicles are in the game atm, and they are modular. As far as I know, they are almost finished with motorcycles (modular) and they will be returned to the game soon. Rest of the vehicles will follow.

For a little help, if I'm not mistaking when you die you lose everything but you can go to the location where you died and get your stuff back.

All other backpacks require a sewing kit. Cheapest is thread and a needle made from a puppet bone.
