@@hawsrulebegin7768 Yeah, Hoff had a talk show here and to be honest, it was great in my opinion because he didn't take himself seriously at all, instead he just went with the perception of him being that 80's action/Baywatch star. If I remember right the promotional material for the show saw satire of Baywatch 😂

This was some hilarious times when Conan visited Finland back in the day. Can't believe it has been already 15 years since that first Conan abroad special.
This was big news in Finland back then. I remember it was funny following the local news regarding Conan and then finally seeing the full Finland episode.

(the last sentence actually translates to "although as a woman it would be much more fun" or "although being a woman would be more fun" but it doesn't really make sense.)
Arto Nyberg's interview: (straight to the Finnish part)
He was very surprised that there was a strong stench of gasoline or kerosene but he is very happy that the reception of the Finnish people has been the way it is. People have been friendly etc.

Conan has only grown in worldwide popularity in the last decade because of his online presence..Might not have the raw subscriber numbers or ratings of people like Fallon but the positive reaction towards him is unmatched among talk show hosts since he had following from the traditional late night audience as well as the younger crowd
@@JohnDBlue That’s true. Found him myself maybe about 5 years ago. I’m from Latvia, but that hasn’t stopped me from being a fan ever since.
Well I watch his youtube videos and I'm Finnish. Probably can't speak for the whole nation though.
The show, Conan, was only aired till late 2012, but it's not like other talk shows are shown either. I think most of Finns can still recognize Conan, but only few can name Jimmy Fallon or Stephen Colbert.
Lucky for us Conan fans, we have this TH-cam channel.
