Green goblin as a character is hammy as hell, so Dafoe's portrayal was spot on. And if you want to really point to the best example of his acting in that movie, take a look at the scene where he meets the company board, and they remove him. His micro expressions during that scene were absolutely brilliant!! He had the full range from anger, sorrow, grief, betrayal, etc. It was that very scene which solidified his genius as an actor for me. (Except maybe "I missed the part where that's my problem" from Raimi-Man 1)
I hit the like button the second you said Boondock Saints XD
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell an amazing duo since the 80's, one best friend giving his best friend a small cameo in all 3 movies
Willem Dafoe: You know, I'm somewhat of a stunt man myself
I'd argue that the one scene in Homecoming is possibly the stronger scene compared to the train scene. No, I'm not talking about the scene on the ferry, I'm talking about the warehouse scene.
He is also right about the parallels of his characters progression to spiderman's in that film. They were yin and yang. As spiderman became a hero, he became a villain. Honestly, I still rewatch that movie from time to time, specifically for his acting.....a guilty pleasure. Lol.
Bruh don't feel guilty. DaFoe is fire 🔥 as Gobby
4:25 ironic
Anyone else here in 2021 and hyped to see Dafoe return as thr Green Goblin 💚
I bet he did the same thing for no way home
Willem killed it in “the Lighthouse”👍
Christian Bale does extreme body/muscle changes. He went from like 88kg to 190kg, 20kg higher than the suit was giing to be made for, so he had to drop the extra 20 for Begins.
In a way, the actors caring about their role in Spiderman one and two, as well as those in Xmen is literally why superhero films got so big.
For those Who didn’t know, Freddie Prinze jr Was The voice actor for Kanan in Star Wars Rebels also.
Watchi that movie when I was like 5 with all the William Defoe scenes fucking terrified me as a kid, he genuinely made me scared 🤣😂
5:05 That's my desktop wallpaper now.
I know you don't like recommendations for videos but.... I'm almost positive portal 2 would have been half as long if JK Simmons didn't take the role of Cave Johnson that was specifically written for him.
