    Adam Silver is the worst Commissioner arguably in the NBA's history. He's literally made the game less watchable.

    • @LouSeph
      @LouSeph 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      He made the game for the ego and entitlement of LeBron and let Klutch turn the league into the WWE. He doesn’t care about the fans. That’s why all sports leagues are growing except the NBA.
      WNBA is booming - NFL booming - the pitch clock has baseball ratings up 15% and growing as they are finally listening to fans not players.
      They told complaining players - figure it out.
      The NBA is the only league working for the ego of the players not the fans.

      @JoePesos 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@deadflies4265 I disagree with the OP but your response is spectacularly clueless. The reason networks are paying all this money is because people watch sports live, which means it will have a ton of commercials in it that people will watch, unlike shows that people stream without commercials. The price for all sports has skyrocketed because that is the one place you can still sell a ton of ads.

    Inside the NBA is actually more entertaining than the NBA regular season games. We watch just to see the TNT coverage. They think the ratings are bad now?? Wait till they want people to sign up for prime during football season to watch regular season NBA without inside to bring in viewers.
    The NBA thinks people are gonna buy 3 different streaming services and cable to watch regular season NBA?? They are gonna lose more viewers. This will be a good opportunity for college basketball and women’s college ball to gain popularity as they are gonna be on tv and the NBA will be on peacock and prime.

      They play euroball?
      No, they don't play euroball at all. Euroball is competive Basketball. The Euroleague is way more competitive than rigged NBA. The regular NBA season with it's 82 games is trash all over the place. Next to nothing defensive plays except the knicks team, some 3 and d guys or two way wings, who are very rare. Tray Young, Dame Lillard, LeBron and many others doesn't play defense at all. Nobody cares playing regular season games. 30 % of all NBA teams are "beautifully tanking". No team is tanking in the euro league.
      NBA has the most talented players, but the NBA wastes this talent. Hard to watch all star games, hard to watch team USA now in France. No team basketbaln; hard tobwatch USA, nice to watch South Sudan, Germany, Canada, Serbia, Australia. USA may win the gold medal nevertheless because of the exceptional individual talent of their single players, but the team as s team is trash nevertheless. The plays of team USA are hard to watch. Steve Kerr said it in during the last days. Iso ball, no team chemistry, no game plan, nothing but Iso ball. It's boring af to watch this harlem globetrotteresque physical jumping out of the gym slam dunk contest showcase bs. Nobody wants to see this. It's boring.

    This is so interesting. I watched the last video, spent some time thinking about it, and then came across this one. The more I think about it, they could actually just not want the honest coverage to TNT brings. The presence of Disney in this whole equation only furthers that.
    Unless they truly think that Turner didn’t match the offer, this is probably politics of some sort. look at how hard ESPN has tried to create narratives using Lebron…Disney is no different. This could absolutely be them trying to create an environment where they have total control of the narrative.
    Look how Disney handled Star Wars in general. They purposely screwed the fans at every turn in favor of an agenda. What are they doing with this deal? They’re in essence screwing the fans.
    One thing is for sure. Disney and ESPN will not want to go into discovery. You can bet on it.

    The NBA wants to leave this situation for a better situation which in my opinion is a great situation. I view this as opportunity for the NBA to be more accessible like its counterparts the NFL. The NFL has more exposure to its consumers which why it is a 6 billion dollars organization. The NFL is on almost every major networks like FOX, NBC, CBS and ESPN. This deal that the NBA has will greatly benefit them not just monetary but in terms of exposure which means higher ratings.

    Makes sense to me. Amazon is everywhere. They can brand on anything like their delivery boxes and ads. Especially now since Amazon Prime allows commercials. From a business standpoint it works out for them in the end. Zaslav with WB been screwing up since the world shut down back in 2020. I don’t think Warner Bro has a leg to stand on. If ratings showed any kind of dip then they can easily justify we felt the streaming options with Amazon and NBC as the best option.
