Maybe it’s the hair but also maybe not since (at a glance) I think her chin is more angled in the right/with her normal self
100% the hair. Her Bobbed hair creates a perfectly rounded silhouette on her cheek area than the flowy hair of the new costume

The Live2D has been upgraded: the last upgrade by Brian was one of his rare oopsies where the "paper mask" effect was not eliminated but got even worse. This has finally got it all fixed, and this little squirrel looks wonderful now.

I think it's the hair indeed. The hairstyle in her base model covers the sides of her face so you can't see how wide her cheeks actually are.

I think its a combo of the chin, eyes, and eyes.
The chin on this model is less sharp. It has a slightly more curved transition to the face.
The eyes are smaller and the top lids and eyebrows sit lower on the face.
Then the hair frames everything differently.
But my eyes aren't great and im not looking super hard so maybe there is more, maybe less.
Eid al-fitr, in Indonesia we eat chicken based food with most of them have heavy coconut milk on them. During its time of year most of Indonesian get chubbier 😂

It's because of her new hairstyle - on the old model, her hair hides the sides of her face, while on the new one the hair is spaced a bit wider, making her squirrel cheeks look chubbier
