Implant Infection: A Complex Healthcare Challenge

I have had 3 back fusions fail all due to “bio film”. The last went untreated for so long I collapsed paralyzed and in organ failure due to sepsis. My original diagnosis was “ osteomyelitis“ the infection returns, the bone gets soft and the implant pulls out of the bone. I lost three vertebrae and now have a titanium “cage/box” instead of my vertebrae.
