I like to think it’s not impossible that this idea spawned from an argument over how the properties of Josuke’s stand work, and that this whole video could be an elaborate response to that argument using an original scenario skit to demonstrate the point being argued.
I think it's pretty true too given how Josuke's stand abilities are presented and explained I feel more than anything, Josuke trying to "fix" the shelf would lead to him accidentally growing a tree through his bedroom (as seen in the video itself), since by technicality the original state of the shelf was a tree lol Adding onto this, Shining Diamond also wouldn't be able to "fix" the shelf to be built either, since most products of this nature are simply packaged and sent away and never test assembled beforehand, meaning the only "fixed" state the shelf has is either as it is now (a pile of parts on the floor) or the raw material it was constructed from (a tree's wood)
Crazy Diamond's ability allows Josuke to revert people or objects into a previous state. During this process, he is able to alter how the target is "fixed" (Ex. Changing the bully's face or altering the writing on the lottery ticket) It's obvious that since those wooden parts were never assembled into a shelf to begin with, Crazy Diamond instead reverted it to the tree the wood came from.
