- Ya know, half of my home is full of video games...which has left me with a whole half to fill with anime! Yes, I try to be a well rounded nerd and have gathered hundreds of physical anime series over the years and I want to share them today with you! Let me know what your favorites are, and if you don't see it here, don't worry, I could only fit so much in one and video and they're will be more to come very soon!

I've got a steelbook version of Samurai Champloo. It's got a nice sheen to it and comes with a few artcards as a bonus.

Amazing collection. Can’t wait for Pt. 2. Gunbuster was the first Anime I watched when I was 5. Good news, Discotek announced at a convention that they licensed the 6 episode OVA and will release it on Blu-ray with English dub think at the end of 2021/early 2022.

Outlaw Star is an underrated classic.
Damn right it is! It’s amazing it’s not talked about more or that it never gets merchandise like figures like other older series get.
It's like a kid friendly version of Bebop. Still a good show.
FYE, Suncoast, Sam Goodie are all big, big throwbacks! Used to buy my anime at those stores, too. And most notably, my favorite store of all time: Media Play. I practically lived there! Bought my first full anime sets there, at that 29.99 MSRP a pop! I believe the first 7 volume set I purchased was Full Metal Panic. I remember having to backorder most of them!
Lots of great titles here though!! Love the box sets. I have that Best Sessions for Cowboy Bebop, too! Thought it was the coolest thing back in the day.
Makoto Shinkai is Chef's Kiss. I own most of his work, but The Promised Place is probably my favorite film by him! Followed closely by The Garden of Words and Voices of a Distant Star. :) Really hoping the first and last of those mentions get released, here in the US, on blu ray. I want a nice collectors set for them, damnit.
Rurouni Kenshin is still a series I need to buy. I own two random volumes, but never seem to find it in full for a decent price, wah wahh.
Anyway. On to check for a part 2!

Where did you buy that Little Witch Blu-ray? Is that import from japan, does it have any English options, and where can I buy it?
Yes it was an import, it was expensive too I hate to say, like $60 at the time if memory serves. I just got it on eBay lol. It has English subs for sure, I’m not sure about dubs but I’ll check and comment on it here later!!

Not a problem at all! That’s what this channel is for! I personally enjoy the films more. They’re a separate continuity from the series, and were made well before the series debuted. They were made more as a showcase of what Studio Trigger (a new studio at the time) could really do with a budget. The characters and art are great, but I don’t think there was enough there to stretch it out into a full, engaging series. The show is still good to me, but I vastly prefer the quick, succinct nature of the two films overall. I hope my answer helps!
Nice collection mike! Due to the extravagant prices of most anime, I decided to just get my all time favourites physically. So far I have Steins;gate and nichijou, still need to get paranoia agent and mononoke (the tv series not the ghibli movie).

Best shounen series of 'em all imo. I do stick to the Japanese dub, but I respect people liking the eng dub.

All these Gainax anime and no Evangelion? Lmao jk great collection so far and it's a damn shame that Gunbuster still hasn't had a proper re-release. Such a gem of an anime and as far as subs vs. dubs go, I'm pretty much only a subs guy now. I used to be more lenient on dubs but ever since I read some behind the scenes info on how The End of Evangelion was made, that made me prioritize subs.
There was an announcement of a Gunbuster 3 a few years ago, but I severely doubt that it'll be released at this point... And sneak peak of a future video...I haven't forgotten EVA lol Thanks for watching!
