- As a Java player I've heard many bad things about minecraft bedrock edition . I find Minecraft Bedrock Edition to be one of the most hated and controversial editions of minecraft ever made. But instead of joining in the trend of saying that Minecraft Bedrock Edition sucks , Minecraft Bedrock Edition is bad , etc . I decide to play the game myself . I didn't do a speedrun none of that here on this channel btw . I just tried to identify what's really different , the biggest differences between the Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Fun fact, Bedrock Edition is actually a newer version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. It just got renamed when it was ported to PC and consoles, which is why it may feel more like a mobile game. It is coded in C++, whereas Java is coded in Java.
And another funfact: internet explorer is coded in the same coding language as Minecraft bedrock!

You can make the Creative inventory bigger and pure iteams and not showing you player inventory which makes it easier to find blocks
and this is when the java community stops being hatefull towards bedrock edition

the only thing I like about bedrock is that I can run the game with an render distance of 120 chunks and I still get 60 fps
I’d say the wither and bosses and combat in general is much easier bc it’s just spam

You can put potions in cauldrons you can die sulker without commands there are different sized salmon there's baby squid and dolphin and fallen and decaying trees just to name a few differences and different features.
People make fun of bedrock for its microtransactions, wut about hypixel in java, don't u gotta pay for ranks, i know everyone will say 'they aren't actual mojang Devs, just third party', same goes for market place creators, they aren't mojang devs
Mojang gave a platform for micro transactions while hypixel ranks are done through a website

Java render distance is only 14 less in vanilla without editing it and you can get dragon eggs in the creative menu
Dude bedrock has had the Dragon egg in the creative menu since 1.13 and Java has had it in what 1.16 1.17 can I play both versions and I play Java all versions and the only version I see with the dragon egg is 1.17

Bedrock isnt really that bad except the marketplace screwing up a lot,but the game itself is pretty good,ive been playing pocket edition since it was released in 2015 if i remember,pocket edition is the same as bedrock just for mobile devices
Bedrock pvp is trash u play a skywars game and comes some Guy with the speedbridge and end your game in 10 SECONDS

Earlier on when you wanted to destroy that crystal you didn't have too because on Bedrock Edition the Dragon won't regenerate to full health in one flight but I'm pretty sure that it will in Java also the Java Dragon is harder because there is that glitch where it throws you into the air.
Lesson learned, do not underestimate bedrock bosses

I play both Bedrock and Java, I like them both, don't get me wrong, but Java is better, however Bedrock has good bridging and easier to acess realms to play with friends.

@@Triskota why I think they discontinued them is Microsoft wanted the money from the market place they say they wanted to bring players together but I think it was because Microsoft wanted$$$ Aka Micro transactions I could be wrong but that’s what I think.Cause I played the Xbox 360 edition back in 2012 and then when Minecraft Xbox one edition came out I played that too. Everybody loved the Legacy versions of the game. Sure it didn’t have infinite worlds didn’t have servers either.But it felt right to play it felt like you was playing Java Minecraft but on a console that’s the best part.But Now I’m stuck playing Minecraft bedrock edition. My world is very nice tho been playing on it for 2 years now. But I’m used to playing on bedrock edition now. Been playing on it for 2 years just sometimes I miss Minecraft legacy game was so smooth didn’t feel sluggish or nothing.

Legacy was beautiful , as you said it really did feel like java edition . Everything about it was good. Bugs rarely occured . The game had it's own good feel . It simply felt like minecraft . Bedrock just doesn't feel right .
The marketplace is actually brutal . The prices are so high for some things you can simply get for free on java. I'm not forgetting about legacy editions shop for skins and maps but those were way cheaper . It felt like buying maps or skin was like a little bonus to the game . Bedrock feels like the game itself is a bonus to the marketplace . If that makes sense

Can I just say that one of the things that annoy me the most about bedrock is the chat's font, WHY IS IT A SMOOTH FONT AND NOT THE MINECRAFT PIXELATED FONT? I don't get it... it's just all over the place with textures and the way things look, it's like minecraft bedrock is a bad attempt at a modernised version of java that just makes it look worse and all over the place
I bet you didn't check the game that much, you can change it in the chat settigs, I'm glad Mojang changed the default font from the Noto Sans (The Smooth One) to Mojangles (The Original One)

i tried bedrock and omfg the lag . the lag is horrible. i activated one texture pack that i had to pay for and rebuying another version of mine craft after already owning java . bedrock does suck and there is so much to back that claim up. on my java version i have shaders, a way better texture pack and even god damn mods and im still over 60 fps with no lag on java . Bed rock would shit it self before even the texture pack.
