Something else in bedrock is that you can place blocks in front of you while in the air, basically bridging but instead you face the way you go and look down in front of you and place. It might not be make sense but I do it all the time. It’s a way people speed bridge in bedrock servers
1. You have tons of more commands, for example: fill, setblock, particle, effect, and mooore
2. You can even SPEEDbridge easily, like literally sprinting, and placing the blocks under you.
3. Redstone is A LOT harder, than in java edition
So mc bedrock isn't that simple if you get into some serious stuff. And mcpe (phone version) is also running bedrock, so that is why the chat looks like that, and this is the reason that the coordinates are covering that big space of the screen, to see it normally on a phone.
I don’t think redstone is so hard in bedrock. I play bedrock everyday and I love redstone I don’t think it’s that hard.

The reason you felt that the stone pickaxe was mining faster was because it is, in bedrock you mine slightly faster than in Java
You can silk touch vines on oak trees and put them where you want
Just use shears you don’t need alike touch
You can crit hit on bedrock and there are apps where you can import skins and resource packs like nightvision
just download the skin and select skin file from character creator

you can make a kelp xp farm by smelting kelp and kelp and slowly the more kelp u smelt the more xp it gives, basically it carries the xp and you get more xp and it takes time to get it up and running from smelting but trust me its worth it and search a video about it because u need a certain design

6:58 that's cuz Optifine and other mods don't know how to code mods for Bedrock cuz it's made in C++, and biggest objective of Optifine is to boost FPS and Bedrock edition even on max render distance is dad of Optifine, but you can use onix client for those mods
There is a furnace exp glitch where is u smelt alot of items and get the exp, it still keep the stored exp so u can have infinite exp.
Some farm mechanics for farms are crazy on bedrock. There is a gold farm by JC Plays and it’s so op for xp.

2 years later and a big chance you will never see this but Java players coming to Bedrock forget this version is for so many. We have people who play on their phones. So, some of the differences are there to allow different gaming platforms to enjoy the game.
One thing I do know about Java and Bedrock is that when you cure a villager, everyone has the discount, not just the person who cured it

You can see your coordinates by turning them on in world settings
Swords do more damage by one so the sword is a bit better than an axe on single player but i reccomened an axe on a multiplayer so you can break shields

Hey ducky! You should click on edit character in the skin selection and then you can create your own character with certain heights, hair, eyes, and clothes
A couple things that might be new: 1. You can not place blocks on the roof of the nether 2. You can spam click glass 3. If you have an efficency V netherite AXE and a haste 2 beacon, you can insta mine trees as well as Mining 4. Boats are crafted different, you need a shovel and 5 wood lol 6. Axe damage is significantly less 7. There is no entity cramming 8. You don’t get any chunk lines. 9. There has been a wierd glitch for bedrock lately where diamonds spawn half as often 10. The crafting grid is significantly better 11. There is no render distance 12. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW! - you can get a ton of xp from smelting (I suggest looking at a Tutorial) 13. Running up stairs will give you lots of hunger depletion 14. Trees can spawn as fallen trees which is a pretty cool update.

The reason the pickaxe looks faster is because it’s a slightly different animation
It mines faster with obsidian
Ducky there are some free skins that you can get, also hats arms etc. if the they don’t have a lock on them or a coin in the bottom corner, it’s free. You can also get emotes buy buying some or getting achievements
I personally play both versions and I'm happy with the differences bedrock has to java
On bedrock you can speed bridge faster than Java because you can just look in front of the block you just placed and easily speedbridge

I'm a bedrock player,you can put the liquid In a glass bottle in a cauldron and you can even dye the water in the cauldron and leather armor in bedrock edition and if shear a blue or any color sheep in bedrock edition,you can still see the color of the wool that the sheep you sheared had in stead of white and there are also baby squids and baby salmon in bedrock edition.
Crafting a boat is also different and it’s also really anoying if u have a silk touch pick with mending u can’t put ur pick in ur offhand to repair it
Btw of you take this seriously and make a series like bearing the ender dragon I have to tell you a few things
-the wither is EXTREMELY OP
-You need to use swords
-our hunger go's really fast
-mlging is different u can't use boats
-we also don't have chunck borders
Ducky if you want to play on serves on pc you have to download Mc launcher to change your version. You can speed bridge by placing a block a bit In front of the block (look up a yet tutorial if you want to see). You should see how they trolled us when we asked for off handing in the 1.17 and they said “what do you need in your off hand a flower”. Also we are really good at pvp no joke it is the exact same thing as Java but swinging and speed bringing is different. If you are going to do this long term lock up jc playz he will hook you up with the tutorials.

U can hold right click to place continuously. To jump bridge u build up at least 20 blocks. Look down. Hold right click while sprinting and jumping
The shields and speed bridging are so much more op on bedrock than java
Some differences and explanations
Redstone is different lets say chest cn be movable but quasi connectivity is nit there
Then tipped arrows are made in cauldrons as well as armor is colored in cauldrons
Fallen trees exist, wither is much srronger with doubke health and much longer wither effect and other stuff of it
Offhand is not on it cuz of mobile devices, Mojang cant excatly figure out how to implement it on them
Then nether roof as well as quasi connectivity are conisidered bugs so they wont be added on it
Shaders existed but cuz of new engine they are not working now but are in progress of fixing it by Mojang
Also you can sprint bridge and even bridge on horse
Sharpness does double damage in bedrock and impaling damage more not only fish and guardians but any mob and even player in water or rain
Also axes are not considered weapons and lose more durability if used like that and with itt shords do kore damage
crafting a boat costs extra wood on bedrock edition

u should make a zero tick xp farm its the best thing about hedrock

If you are high enough, you can sprint bridge in front of you (basically, if you are high enough, and there are no other blocks around, you can bridge by looking where the next block would be.)

The anti allasing means when it’s higher ur games blocks look better with a drop in FPS
anti-aliasing aka mipmapping. the far a block it the lower it's texture resolution. this makes it look smooth

Critical hits exists at bedrock just jump while hitting the mob but the cooldown like in java doesnt exist but the crits exist No Prob!
0:59 there are free things in the character creator that is free plus there are apps and other things were u can make ur own skin.
You should turn on coordinates by going to settings and clicking show coordinates

sword deal more damage and you can turn on peaceful mode and you can get your bars back up
To apply texture pack find ur zip file>Rename the .zip to .mcpack>Double Click>wait to import>Settings>Global Resources>Click My packs>Click pack>click active>go back>wait to load resources done
The kaz method is possible but I like it more on bedrock because you are faster it’s like having dolphins grace while swimming
you can get skins on bedrock you just have to download a skin as a .mcpack file and it should import strait into your game upon double clicking it
cauldrons can be used for stuff like dyeing and potions

i grew up with bedrock, there are some changes...
-Dont fight with axes.. They do LESS damage than the sword. Thats like a mistake almost every java player does in bedrock.
-You can still spam your weapons. On bedrock, there is no weapon cooldown.
-Trapdoor crawling does not work. In java, flippign a trapdoor onto you makes you crawl. Well, Thats a no-no on bedrock. The only way is swimming from water to a 1x1 tunnel.
-Using a book and quill shows 2 pages instead of one.
-Performance is way better, it uses a different rendering engine (Renderdragon) which is more performant than java's render engine.
-you can place a block off of another one without sneaking. it is not easy to explain, but you can find videos on youtube.

You can speed bridge way easier and you can you can spam if you press and hold speed bridging if you try to press and hold a block on bedrock edition you can you can speed bridge front in front
there is one big difference MODS instead of installing them you go to the shop and buy it also advancements you have to sign in with your account and don't get me started with the XBOX PS4 and Nintendo switch
I do have both and I prefer to play on bedrock because of the performance.
