It weighing 28g makes sense since ninjas are supposed to be light, so I’ll let TT off the hook for the accurate depiction. It WILL have some usage as with all the other Blades so far.
You'd think that metal needle would have some sort of implication being that most of it's weight is closest to the stadium. I'll be testing it on Unicorn Sting and Knight Shield for sure.
Shinobi being 28 grams and a main X release has to have a reason as to why its so light. I was hoping that it would be a Burn Fireblaze burst remake situation. (Which is incredible for Stamina in Cho-Z format.) But, looks like a dud so far! Hoping someone finds a efficient use for this one.
1. it's light af 2. I feel the 9 ratchet was meant to go on the prize shinobi and the 1 ratchet on the black Shinobi. It's like they swapped them at the last minute 3. for a sick design and being a defense type, the weight should be at least 35 grams. if it was a stamina type then 28 grams could work imo
The tip of the bit should've been POM instead of metal IMO, that way it would have been safer for the stadium and have less friction. As for its performance, I think Shinobi Shadow is a gimmicky bey meant to counter-attack attack type beys by stalling, as seen in one of the videos by Beybladegeeks, the one where it's set vs Dran Buster. It can win if it doesn't engage the other bey for long and can outspin it, but that's not an option if it's battling a defense or stamina type.
@@nizumablader it’s bizarre to me that they give defense type pieces low burst resistance, but give hexa such high resistance. Like shouldn’t defense types have higher burst resistance than stamina types (like they’re supposed to be more resistant to attacks both ko and burst) as a trade off for stamina, while hexa is a very stamina focused balance type designed tip. Like I get they’ve seemingly been historically bad at predicting what parts will be good for stamina vs defense, or in the case of burst there basically being no difference between the two due to how neutered attack types were for most of that generation, but idk it seems like they should be doing better play testing if that’s the case especially considering they are really pushing for it to become a competitive give with a healthy supported scene at a level likened to sports.
@@haosmagnaingram6992 this is exactly why I ignore takara tomy when they give something a type, more often than not things get used for other stuff. Like hexa I would consider a defensive part. Wizard rod while having good stamina is also very defensive, shinobi here officially is considered a defense type but it’s 27 grams lol.
Shinobi’s too light, 1-80 doesn’t really offer much, just less burst resistance vs 1-60. Metal needle is still needle, which isn’t very good. Being metal doesn’t change much besides a bit more stamina and a bit less KO resistance. We saw how easily off balance needle tilted, and how easily it got KO’d bc of its light weight and decreased friction with the stadium. And it got KO’d by a bey on Ball, not even an attack type. Idk this doesn’t seem good to me.
Needle isn’t good? Isn’t hell scythe a balance blade so has some atk attributes? I’m very confused. I thought since it’s a defense type it performing against atk and more aggressive balance types was the goal. But true it is definitely way too light especially for UX
@@nizumabladerI assumed it affects how strong the momentum when striking the other? Still contemplating which bey should I get for my first bey X. Any recommendation? From quick research I did from Reddit people said Phoenix Wing/Wizard Rod is good?
I’ve noticed in your videos you always talk about defense as though it’s the same thing as stamina. You repeatedly call this a stamina combo. It’s weird.
Yeah that was my bad, I honestly disregard takara tomys assigned typing, it very often does not function inside the assigned typing. This is functionally not a defense type lol, certainly not at 27 grams.
finally leon claw has a worthy opponent
I know right
Yooooooo chillllll Leon’s peak
that comment was foul bro lol
sooooooooo bad hahahahahhaaha

The fact we got a metal bit before a rubber one really says something about how crazy this generation is.

I’m starting to get real tired of defense types being some of the lightest
Well you can pretty much ignore takara typing.
yeah, put some Attack bits on Defense blades and voila, a moving wall
@@ohmaplaymaker but then why would you use the defense for attack when the heavier attack types are better at that
Stationary attack is the New defense type
Feels more like a stamina type imo
Let's hope this doesn't lead to problems with the stadium surface; I thought we learned our lesson with Burn Fireblaze!

Almost reminds me of Ray serpent m145 ms which was a really weird stock combo with the weird balance but also a metal sharp tip
Dran Buster 1-80 Quake?
I feel that if the blade shape was mirrored, or it was a left-spin, it would work much better.

They should’ve put 9-70 on it and then 9-60 or 1-80 could’ve gone to the black version

Definitely gonna slap the metal needle on phoenix wing for nostalgia
question, has the stadiums gotten any dents from the metal needle? cuz thats one thing I am a bit worried about.
I didn’t experience any but I don’t plan on using it much, I know other players have reported denting already.
I guess the thing to check with metal needle is to see if the ko resistance makes it worthwhile as a dedicated defense type
Same as all the low burst resistance bits

This is really an interesting bey. All the parts just wondered why not heavy🥰
What you think about my combo hell's chain 3-80 metal neadle 😅

Im hoping eventually x beys become more modular like metalfight beys
I really like personalizing my beys instead of being stuck with a preset
Does this mean we finally have a proper featherweight class?
No lol, there’s only a couple beyblades under 30 grams
Made me think how is the ux line actually unique? I have heard a lot of people sayings ux blades have plastic prongs while bx have metal.
That’s correct, everything ux so far the prongs have been plastic
@nizumablader I didn't even realise shinobi was a ux blade that's why I was so confused 🤣

I guess lol

The plastic top parts reminds me of the Sharingan
Metal Needle seems to have the same, or close to same performance as regular needle👀
Yeah, there’s virtually no difference. Metal needle will most likely get banned due to risk of damaging stadiums.

Is blade weight really that big of a deal? Just curious because it seems that it's a major factor being considered for competitive viability

Watch Knife Shinobi be heavier

It’s Rhino equivalent
I don't think it will dent bc the wedge driver in burst had no effect
Wedge wasn't as sharp though
stamina doing its job beating the defense bey.
It’s 28 grams, there’s nothing defensive about this beyblade. Takara typings should be taken with a grain of salt.
Kinda sad this beybis so light, i always go for balde besign before weight but even the blade design suffers without proper weight 😭👍🔥
Try Shinobi against attack types
You got your shinobi?
do you think the downside/downfall of this bey is the weight, gap and the unbalanced performance?
Major thing is the weight
Damn that was fast 😂
Try rod drake & phoenix with mn
No real performance improvement over regular needle to be honest.
