This ninja boy needs to hit the gym bruh 💀 Does this Bey deserve to be in the UX line?! Takara Tomy is up to their usual shenanigans, slowly releasing their newer ratchets in every available height, which resulted in this weird combo. We doubt 1-80 will be any good, but at least everything about this Bey is new! Is this a crop or drop?
5:19 fun fact; Ninjas were thought to originally wear dark blues or purples, not black. That was because a solid black costume would give you a stronger silhouette in moonlight, whereas the blue/purple hues may blend in more while still being dark enough to help when hiding in shadows.
@@onilord1830 Woah I haven’t seen that name since they left Game Theory. It it confirmed that Metal needle does damage the stadium so be very careful when launching. And also the blade is light for a defense type and 1-80 makes no sense on this combo, the lack of balance ruins its own stamina despite having a metal tip, maybe there's a combo for Shinobi that can work but i doubt it 🤦
Yeah shinobi shadow needs to have a good combo for it towork in a competative setting. My suggestion is shinobi shadow 9-60 ball could be good in my opinion.
Thanks for the heads up about the stadium damage. Here are my own thoughts. I havent tested it yet but from the video and some theory crafting, I think TT was going for an evasion defence build. It looks like its more effective against Attack types dodging or glancing the initial x dash attacks and then wearing out their stamina. The 1-80 ratchet is for that erratic evasive movement, while the metal needle bit weighs it down towards the center after some time to the counter phase. So basically Phase 1 Evade, phase 2 Counter, compared to other counter beys like Unicorn or Knight Lance(?) which try to take hits early and counter hard. It might not be consistent, but it might be well worth testing. The problems is that Stamina(defence-ish) beys are the meta right now with PW and WR. Until it shifts to more attack oriented heavy beys through power creep or restriction lists, I guess you are right that it wont work well. Might be worth holding on to until the meta shifts.

Based on customs, rubber bits actually make it worse with the X line and doesn’t work well bc it’s too much friction to glide on the X line. At most would be hard rubber but not soft rubber as used in previous generations
They should give the weaker defense types of his gen a hard rubber sharp tip like the one grand Cetus used. At first it probably wouldn’t be very good and maybe have some balance issues but once you wear that performance tip down and it makes all the difference in the world in my opinion. It would be hard to knock out, could counter even off of head on clashes. The only issue we’d still be dealing with though is the burst resistance but that’s about all
I really like the design of the bey it looks so cool until I saw the weight. I'm targeting the yellow one though. I'm gonna paint the metal part gold and put it on a display. The goal is to make it look like a tournament price bey similar to what I did with my yellow Viper Tail
Test each colors weight and see if they are the same, then pick the heaviest one then use the 9-60 rachet and the gear point bit, you won't be disappointed
Metal needle will really dent the stadium and not be good as the Beyblade Shinobi Shadow will burst a lot because of Metal Needle. I thought that metal needle is good but nope it isn't because of what it does
Shinobi is more useful as a stamina type, it's not a good idea to use rubber type bit, also, you don't exactly need rubber bit or heavy weight to play defense type, just get a good low gravity control combo and tilt launch.
1 ratchet was given most likely to give burst resistance seeing mn doesn't have anything for resistance and making it wobble should have been to do something with ninja motif

Honest question here from a European guy who is now in his thirties and wanna get back in the game with his kids. Why oh why do we get inferior quality hasbro products? I can tell there is demand in the west and we get the TT products overpriced from scalpers. Since there is demand in the west why is there no quality supply? Is it a trademark thing? Why is the only quality hasbro product I can find the pro series? Thnx.
Hasbro didn't care much at all about beyblade during the Burst generation, so they cheapened out on products to produce more for less. Although Pro Series was the best they had for Burst, it was an overpriced incomplete mess and not every bey they messed up on had a Pro Series version. They lost a lot of money (unsurprisingly), and I hope they never make that mistake again. Their Beyblade X products have been the same as Takara Tomy, but I heard Hasbro will focus more on games than toys, which sounds concerning.
Welcome back to the Beyblade family! Hasbro’s Beyblade Burst was a bit of a mess after a certain point….they made priority changes and it didn’t benefit enthusiasts that were looking for high quality products like ones from TT. There is definitely a demand for it and that’s why it looks like they’re stepping it up for Beyblade X! Their new products will be widely available in a matter of weeks and the quality is looking 🤌

I was trying this out and I agree 100%. The way that this combo works makes it extremely risky and situational, which fits the ninja theming, but at the same time can make it as much of a glass cannon as Dran Buster. Phase 1 is definitely evading, where launch direction/position matters the most and if the opponent gets one good attack in, you're done for. The more the opponent whiffs their attacks, the better chance you have of winning. Phase 2 is on point as well because the blade, ratchet, and bit are all essential for countering. With how lightweight the combo is, it is very easy for it to get knocked around. This is something you actually WANT to happen. Shinobi Shadow uses that inertia to bounce off the stadium walls and strike back with a ton of recoil: like a ninja jumping off a wall they were flung into and immediately striking back. Because of how tall the combo is and how unblanced Metal Needle can get, it can use 1-80 to scrape off the floor and jump to counter; which ironically is a better, more consistant jump than Tyranno Beat from what I've seen. This combined with the wall bounce can give it just as much recoil as Pheonix Wing or Shark Edge, where it ends up doing constant strikes to the oppenent that take up the entire stadium. Phase 3 is wearing out/waiting for the opponent to lose the last of their stamina. Because of the stadium shape, Needle bits are able to sit in a corner that's out of reach by the time most beys don't have enough speed to climb up to. This also gives the bey enough inertia to land a meaningful blow at low spin while it's slanted. At the end of the day, you're going to be aiming for sleep outs with this one, because it's too lightweight to rely on bursts and the knockback and jumping make it too unpredictable to get consistant stadium outs. tl;dr, another counter focussed defense type that uses the inertia from knockback and the stadium walls and floor for counter attacks. Can be good against attack types if launched right, struggles against any stamina focussed or passive beys, another defense type that can burst easily, most accurate representation of a ninja in terms of movement and high risk factor.
I came back to Beyblade and I'll be honest, this new gen. ain't it for me, at first it was fun how aggro the battles are but after a while It gets way too chaotic... beys flying around and destroying themselves in 2 seconds isn't my cup of tea, so I hope in future seasons it gets better.
