I’m not sure, using the later case today and I’m still undecided for the stainless band phones, for the aluminum, the Gbrand for sure though. Thanks for the compliments on editing, I’m a much better editor than I show on TH-cam, I suppose I should show off a bit from time to time, just wasn’t necessary with knife videos.
These aren’t made for top protection. They are made to give it minimum protection for the few people that handle their phones more careful then a new born baby. I just received my latercase for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and will use it when I go to get togethers with friends and family.
Your iPhone 12 Pro Max is more than $1000... The illusion that you got your phone for free is probably the same reason your perception on how to treat it differs from people who either understand the price of their device or people who actually bought it without a plan. FYI: I everyday this case and have dropped it COUNTLESS times with 0 scratches. Do you even know what Kevlar is?
My first shot at a phone video and maybe I should have been more informative about the case, I bit my phone outright and I use these cases in rougher than an office environment, they seem to work well.
@@Adizzle235 I don’t know who you are replying to, but I can definitely tell you I paid cash for my iPhone 12 Pro Max top model for 1500 and I got another one for my Girlfriend same exact model for free< I don’t have any outside or hidden charges and can definitely say I received my second one with no cost at all. I also value my phone as if it were 20 grand and have always kept all my tech products pristine.
I did get it and I love it. It’s SUPER thin and extremely durable. The back of the case is really nice to touch, your fingers glide over the Kevlar woven pattern. It smells like chemicals pretty strong (or Kevlar) out of the box so that’s my only excuse. Doesn’t last long though. I’ve dropped it 4 times on concrete and there’s no scratches anywhere.... I don’t understand how it achieves this but that’s my experience. I dropped it from waste height (I’m 5’10) and I was almost Positive the screen cracked or the the case would be scratched to shit but absolutely nothing. I was shocked and my friend was shocked. Edit: dust does get behind the bottom right camera opening because the case isn’t flush to the lense or whatever that is.
@@Adizzle235 thanks for the update! Glad you enjoy it 💯 I want to get it but the exposed too and bottom scare me lol. Maybe I’ll pick this up in the future!
@@keviinschannel I treat my phone like I would treat anything with the price tag of $1200+ I get it, shit happens, I drop my shit too. But if you treat your phone how it’s meant to be treated u won’t have any issues with exposed top and bottom. No scratches on mine because I don’t put my phone in any pocket with anything else, ever.
After using the latter case for a few days, yes the material is a fair amount more sturdy. Though, for the non pro phones, I would still use the Gbrand, full coverage and you can purchase nearly 3 of them for the cost of the Latercase.
Both cases are a ripoff. They don't really "protect" against anything other than scratches or dents. However, you can buy a $8 case on Amazon that does the same. Worse: These cases don't protect the edges at all.
From the coverage it looks like the Amazon one is a better buy. Nice additions with the inserts and graphics.

it looks like Latercase with better material though.

They’re not meant to protect the phone…… They are there just for the sleek design
@@supportyou10 - They are being marketed as "protection" -- but they are neither sleek nor protective.
@@ccchhhrrriiisss100 I mean it is kinda common sense that a 0.2 inch case not gonna protect as good as a rugged case
Your Amazon is plastic lol it’s not carbon fibre lol
