      This is not something to stress over. You are not a hindu, you can go out in your iddat for necessity, try not to over dress or to much makeup. This is not a necessity but in your case you could suffer from badnami, to avoid this badnami go to the function, and you can pretend you are unwell and come back home after two hours.

      With due respect, sheikh misunderstood the reason for iddah. It is meant to make sure that there is no pregnancy. And thats why quran says if a widow or divorcee delivers a baby next day, her iddah is finished. That shows its not about grieving.

    • @razamughal4582
      @razamughal4582 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EscapesToEnjoy what rubbish, iddah is NOT connected with pregnancy. Thats why a ninety year old observes iddah. When a baby arrives, that joy is too great to be sad at the same time. The joy has to be given priority over being widowed or divorced. Otherwise, if a woman has to act sad and raise a baby at the same time, ignorant people would start viewing the baby as a bad omen. Not to mention, that a relationship with a husband is disposable, whereas being a mother is permanent. This proves just how much value islam gives to a child. So, even if a baby does not arrive but the pregnancy ends, the iddah is still over. That keeps the ruling and its consequences simple.

    • @razamughal4582

      @@RaisaPlaban because he is a man born to work. Whether he feels sad or not, he will not be locked in a house for four months. He needs to go out of the house so he needs to look presentable. Men do not have a desire to look attractive, women DO. It is totally illogical for a woman who should be grieving to be wearing perfume and makeup. And she SHOULD be grieving for a dead husband. Women SHOULD be grateful to their husbands. They can only have one at one time. So by remaining in a state where a woman ACTUALLY looks like she is grieving, Allah is showing people that a husband was a blessing. Whereas a man who might be mourning for a wife WOULD and SHOULD have three other wives for comfort. If a woman had three other husbands she would be a prostitute, fact. The fact that todays man is not man enough to have four wives, has lead to womankind becoming worthless. Todays widow will NOT be able to find another husband, so she will be grieving for the rest of her life with perfume and makeup.

      @AK-eu8lj 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I understand your point. Maybe a waiting period is needed before she moves on with her life. I am in Iddah, breadwinner like my husband, home worker like him, dealing with all problems and finances ( more than him), but his waiting period would have been 3 days, and mine is longer. My husband was the best person, but Allah's has taken him, and I am finding it hard to be without him.

    • @razamughal4582
      @razamughal4582 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AK-eu8lj you people really need to learn. Iddah is not about pregnancy alone. That element only covers the rights of the unborn baby. Whilst a woman is in iddah she is still within a nikah in the sense that she is not free to marry another man. If a man gave her three talaqs in one go that will be three talaqs, despite the fact that she is forbidden from reconciling with him she STILL is not free to marry another man. Why? Because she is required to avail the benefits that iddah gives to HER. Namely, she is not made homeless on the spot. Iddah has to be observed in her ex husband’s home even after the third talaq. And she has no financial burden upon her during her iddah. If women had not made womankind worthless by preventing four marriages, then as soon as her iddah was over there would be a queue of married men waiting to marry her and relieve her of financial worries. Since iddah means she still in a nikah then the baby will always be born within a nikah. Thats because the iddah is extended until the pregnancy is over, whether that is the next day or nine months later. The talaq during pregnancy IS valid. So this way the baby will not be called illegitimate and will be given his identity. Finally the benefit of iddah to the man is that it is a reconciliation period. He was supposed to break the nikah with ONE talaq. In islam the loss in a divorce is TO THE MAN. so to save himself from a loss, the reconciliation period is three menstrual cycles and he has the right to reconcile, provided he did not issue three talaq. For women who do not menstruate, its three calender months plus ten days on top. The talaq system is FLAWLESS. Men do NOT have a waiting period. End of. Talaq is never a loss to the children because their independent relationship with each and every relative in their life is NOT dependent upon their parents staying married.
