I work in a hospital as a CNA and nursing student. They are very hazardous places. A lot of the stuff that happens in this show actually happens in real life. Not necessarily helicopter explosions, but people waving knives, pointing guns, attacking staff, yes that happens.

It was written by Michael Crichton, the man who gave us "Jurassic Park" AND was an actual medical doctor, which is why ER is more accurate and realistic than Grey's Anatomy. 😊
Carter on the floor of trauma after being electrocuted.... Doc - @17:52 why don't you check on him.... Probably a good idea.... 😂😂😂😂 Poor Carter. He is like Nevil Longbottom - "Why is it always me?"
I never watched this show when it first aired, of course the show went on air when I was barely a year old, but my folks watched it. Now that I'm watching reruns, my dad loves to play the game "guess who?" with me. We do this with SVU as well lol
❤I wasn’t able to watch when first came on was working full time and going to school but now able to see and the best writing directing cast and very true to to a real life ER when I worked in the ER adult and children
33:06 This line is very ironic because later that season Carla Reese delivers a premature baby (Reese) whose conception was caused by her relationship with Dr. Benton, and Reese later on becomes hard of hearing.
It's too bad she couldn't be cast as Dr. Catherine Banfield, the series' last ER Chief. If they wanted a strong Black female lead, they could have done better than overacting Angela Basset.
I have several cousins that are nurses and they told me you wouldn't beiieve how much stuff goes disappearing from the ER at their respective hospitals. I don't think a crash cart ever did, though
Weird that Omar Epps (Dr. Gant) and Matthew Glave (Dr. Edson) didn't get credited for Into That Good Night when they first appeared as interns with Dr. Carter.
I’m always slightly expectant that one of these compilations accidentally include a tragic scene. Like imagine Peter’s nephews death randomly showing up here
Yep, she was Dr. Greene's love interest for several episodes. And then just a couple of years ago, they had Anthony Edwards guesting as her former partner on SVU
I've fired the M-203 before (powder rounds, not HE) but I'm pretty sure that round would not have that kind of recoil, nor going down the main door like a mini RPG; also, that sort of thing, would've got Jerry fired, big time.
Many of these clips exit as separate videos so I guess that's why they come to mind to people and they were suggested, but I would have liked to see more never published clips.
8:34 …did…did they TAPE a piece of PAPER over the screen to avoid glare, etc?! I MISS THE NINETIES!!! 11:30 …whereupon pre-Olivia Benson was nearly Friendly Fired…? 🤷♀️
The dominatrix freaking carter out with her pain tolerance makes me smirk every time
I thought the blowup doll was hilarious.
that's a man questioning something....
The look on her face well; you can tell that she is excited to see his reaction.
That whole ep with them waiting in the seminar gave such breakfast club energy 😂
The look on Carter's face with Benton's review of him is him realizing he shouldn't take everything Benton said to him at face value. It's amazing.
Notice how most of these are of Carter? Funny, smart and adorable. 😍😁
The worst thing is that closer to end he stopped being funny and became very unhappy (

I LOVED THE PART WHERE JOHN AND CAROL AND DOUG AND THE OTHER GIRL IS IN THE LADIES ROOM ALL IN ONE STALL
Lydia
Me to I loved that scene when I saw it for the first time
OKAY THEN :D
Drop the caps thanks
*Carter crashing into a tampon machine* "I think we're in the ladies room." You don't say......LOL

Now here's what the latter seasons sorely lacked: shenanigans!
I love using ‘shenanigans’ in any sentence, don’t you? :-) It’s just fun to say, like ‘scuba.’

Sneaking around to steal a crash cart with Batman and they're worried about getting caught 😆
Carter got really f**ked up in some episodes. I'm surprised he didn't sue the hospital for being an unsafe work environment.

I’m a bit older than you but I feel the same way.

I'll give credit to Carter that kick looked really painful and it probably winded him
I was in high school when they aired this on TV, still the best medical series I've watched 😊
OMG…. Just love Carter….
Ughhh fine I’ll watch ER again 😊

I'm so glad they could recreate the I'm pregernant scene in HD on this episode.
I still love this show it was sad when dr Greene died he was my favorite

ER's Funniest Clips and the next video that autoplays is Dennis Gant's Suicide. Nice.
Acting is incredible. Really enjoy the videos.
ER is the best
26:47-26:50, Benton's like, 'Carter, I'm drugged, not stupid', LOL
I LOVE THIS SERIES 💙

Poor Carter. He is like Nevil Longbottom - "Why is it always me?"
Also, dont they usually sedate someone who is conscious in vfib?
the whole secrets and lies episode is one of my favourites of all time
The funniest part of Carter being kicked is that he landed on that guys bad leg.
"Benton......... can't be that bad!"
.......... man that friggin hurts knowing what Benton does to poor Gant
Thank you very much for this compilation . Always a pleasure to see best moments of this TV show . Hope you had a good Xmas

Thank you so much for putting one of my suggestions in the video. 💃💃💃
Let's see Mark and Jennifer "celebrating" Jennifer's promotion (season 1) and Jerry's singing toy causing all manner of havoc (Season 5).
Aw Kerry is no fun. Which makes her the most realistic character.
Yeah, but she mellowed considerably in the last season she was there!
I hated her so much.
10:45 IT'S MARISKA!!!
10:55 WOW... as it blows by someone we get a matrix moment... LOL
Damn I guess Ed put a kit on that one lol
In the first episode when carter hits the bell on the desk it wasn’t scripted he did it all himself
how awesome is CCH Pounder? been in so many shows, does she ever disappoint?
Loved Dr. Hicks!!
She's so underrated

Nope, she never disappoints. I love her in every role I see her in. She is so underrated!
It's too bad she couldn't be cast

I love this show. From the beginning. Watch it over and over looking for fan blogs. Im watching last episodes that i hadnt seen. Anyone out there
Omg, Mariska Hargitay!
The RPG one was funny as heck!!!!!! LoL
Scenes like the rocket launcher and the falling helicopter crushing romano were too absurd to be on such a good show
They hated ambulances I don't know why 😂😂😂
Pobre Carter siempre la liga jajajaja.
omg I just realized that Noah Wyle looks like Keanu Reeves.
Haha no he doesn’t!
Chad Donella looks a lot like him I think
I think its awesome in Second clip you get it more of hospital that you never get to see
Jerry came awfully close to recasting Law and Order SVU before it ever started.
I love Carter, he' s my favourite!!!
I worked in a hospital for five years. Hated the low pay, but damn I miss the environment. We got up to all sorts of mischief. 😊
I wish these 2 would have gotten together. The bathroom stall. 😂😂😂😂
What was that set on?
200
He should be ok!!!!!
*I had no idea that OLIVIA BENSON moonlighted as a doctor!*
I was wondering if that was her.
She played the secretary at the main desk in the ER, not a doctor.
She was a great part of ER. She was a very sweet character in that show.
Or a nurse at the hospital.....economy must be serious.....😅
how did Jerry not get fired?!
I was asking the same, even lightning can't fired Jerry from ER)

What was that a Nuclear frickin Grenade? The 203's even with an HE round weren't even a tenth as impressive.
Also all the gunfire afterwards lol
