You don't need a CRT to use a Power Glove. Sure, TVs are wider now, but it's not like the accessory depends on the tube like the Zapper does. You can use it with a modern TV if you really want to, just tape the top sensors down and let the other one dangle along the right border of the NES's picture, or let the whole thing dangle off of your entertainment center (as seen in the bottom picture at 2:18). I actually had the exact opposite problem with my Power Glove, my TV was too SMALL. I had to shim up the difference using books and whatnot (as seen in the top picture).
I used to play Donkey Kong Jungle Beat with my cousins. One of us would play the level, another would fight bosses, and the other would smack the bongos really fast at the end of levels and bosses. We would trade off sometimes. It was really fun.
Also I think the Labo is great, but I don't have it, and I've always wanted to play Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. No wonder it's so good, you just play with bongos throughout the game (which sounds really really fun).
If you ever do a follow up, the Rez Trance Vibrator is another one. Basically it vibrates based on whats going on in Rez. If you want a girl to play games I highly recommend it!
