@Remigijus86 they where's not fake on the older ones, and I'm sure they could of made the functional. Plus they looked good. That's like asking why they put engine noise in the speakers...for fake noise
All M5 generations had a unique character and achieved their purpose (which is being the ultimate sedan at the time) in a slightly different way. This one does that as well, but it seems like the whole concept is reaching some limits and compromises that BMW just couldn't get over as easily with this one. I guess inflation isn't just a monetary term, our cars are inflating away too
BiK on company cars is about to change massively. So a hybrid will stop making sense in about 3 years. So a lot of people changing now will have an eye on that.

I am sure that BMW kept those induction pipes closed for a reason, plug in hybrids likely are given less cold air initially ss the first time the combustion engine fires up from cold could be at 60mph when running on electric. Not great for a cold engine, oil etc. they won't have simply forgotten to connect them 😂
There's some truth to all those electronics comment. BMW has been confirmed to be selling user data and denying insurance/warranty claims based on the data the owners usually don't know about. Supposedly you can opt out if you ask for it but I don't know if that's during sign off.
The E39 was pure and simple, a great driving tool, this latest version is far too heavy and complex. I know the world is a very different place but 2400kg in an proper M car should be illegal.
Nice boat! Hehe still won’t be a patch on your built 1000hp f90 what a beast and true overall M car. When people tune these they may be the first car with 900/1000hp not in the 4s 100-200 😂
Very excited for ours to arrive and really get stuck in, hard to deny it’s a lovely place to be but is going to be an uphill battle to match the outright performance/handling of the F90. Still that’s what a G80 M3 is for really.

BMW need to bring back the M side grills... those made the M iconic...I think the LCI version will hopefully look better.

Turns out S63TU4 and N63TU3 intakes can pretty much bolt right up to the S68. I wonder what else can be swapped over🤔🤔
