From years of being a uup listener and benefits subscriber, I feel like I'm finally starting to 'see' Jared. By no fault of his own (well maybe a little) he is SO incredibly tied to what his parents think, especially his mother. It's clear his mum has babied him his entire life, and it's hard for him to grow into his own person as a man. He is probably subconsciously looking for a woman to replace his mum, but his issue is that he doesn't find this attractive enough. Herein lies the situation - pick a 'mum' type girlfriend, and live the life that will satisfy his families/societies expectations, or find a girlfriend that he thinks is hot/cool/sexy, and potentially disappoint his family. I have noticed he values sex a lot in a relationship, which is fair, however he will not find a woman sexy if they are simply filling a void for his mother. He must pick a relationship with someone that HE himself is content with, OR that fills the expectations of his family/society - finding both is extremely hard when you're valuing others opinions so much. This is a hard issue that many people deal with. But most will say - that if you marry for a certain reason (external expectations), then YOU spend your whole life paying for it. He needs to cut the cord from his parents and seek what truly makes HIM happy in a partner. An extremely hard thing to do when his parents are so intertwined (and seemingly critical) of every move Jared makes.
I don't even know who that guy is, but he deserved to be outed. He just used his power to humiliate the girl. Could have checked the restaurant beforehand or choose it himself mister (not so ) big shot :D I'm sorry but you guys just sound entitled judging this outing as well.
