But when i put in in reverse and the drive the sputtering stops. if i accellerate to get on the freeway it sputters again. any thoughts? yes my oil needs changed and my air filter yeah i guess it could but it still looks really good. I just bought the car a few months ago. i noticed the transmission fluid is black.....YIKES. could it be that? ive never seen that. or could the jet black oil and black tranny fluid both be the issues and need dealt with quick? could it need a tune up, im sure it would help but not sure it would cause that extreme sputter.
dude i had no idea that its that easy. Ive had to do alot of stuff to save money and it just feels great.

Does the car shake when your idle? If so then it might be spark plugs or ignition coil or the valves or timing belt.
Spark plugs did it for me same exact problems you say
