In this video I'll try to upgrade from MS-DOS to Windows 11 on real hardware. Windows will be installed on the following computers:
1. Hp Vectra VL8 (1998) :
CPU : Pentium II
GPU : Matrox G200 8mb
RAM : 256 Mb
2. Kraftway (2006) :
CPU : Pentium D 3.0 Ghz
RAM : 2 Gb
3. Noname (2009)
CPU : i7 860 3.8 Ghz
GPU : ATI RADEON 5850 1 Gb
RAM : 2x4 Gb Kingston HyperX
4. Modern PC (2019) :

When I was at CBSI in 1993, we tested Windows 95 beta version. It had a whole pile of diskettes. It did install. But as soon as you clicked on an icon to run something, it crashed.
i was at MS during the development of Chicago..the Alpha version had an eyeball for the start button including eyelashes..you clicked on it and selected restart it would instantly go to post..even if you had documents open and unsaved..shutdown would just hang until you pressed the power button among other strange things..lots and lots of BSOD's

Are you swapping the hard drive into a newer computer as you update the operating system?
I tried but it didn't work. System won’t start, so I just installed one system on two PC
@@RamtechENG try swapping it after you started the upgrade then when it asks to reboot just shutdown then swap the drive essentially
I did this on win2k
Awesome. I started and exposed in computer life with windows 3.1,95, 98, 2000, ME, XP and upto windows 11. At the time of release windows 98 it's was major upgrade and from windows Vista another major upgrade but failure and Windows 7 is the major successor for Microsoft . But still windows 10 is popular operating system after windows xp sp2 and 7 sp1. Hope windows 12 will break new records set by windows 7.

What about Windows NT and Windows 2000? Windows XP was based on Windows 2000 which was based on NT-Technology (HAL layer) - on Windows NT, not on DOS anymore. I miss it.
Good luck getting that to run and you need DDR4 ram too. Never mind thought you was running this on old hardware.

Explanation: Ramtech on his channel 1 about the video "upgrading an old pc 98 to windows 10" He made a mistake after 98-2000 and then the millennium. BUT wines 2000 are NT and millennium windows 9x. How did you do to pass from 32bit w7 to a 64bit w8 without format ?
I think there is a bypass to upgrade from a 32 bit OS to a 64 bit OS but we can see that he couldn't upgrade it 100% only docs and other save files have been kept if I saw this correctly.

What does it mean if my computer with phoenix 80386 rom bios plus Version 1.10 001 keeps telling me Invalid configuration Information and to run a setup program? I just want the computer to boot up after I've never used a computer from the 80s before.

А как windows 1.0 и windows 2.0 установились? Ты же снимал про это видео и даже на древний ПК не удалось установить эти ОС. Или ты при помощи эмулятора dos box, вроде бы запустил?
в старых роликах я допустил ошибку, я ставил 3.0 из под freedos, а надо было из под ms-dos
this is actually pretty hard on real hardware, you need a computer that supports the old systems as well as the newer systems.

ME is the one thats factually a bad operating System. Vista is only damaged by bad rep for being ahead of the time. ME was genuinely behind the time and unnecessary

Fake. Installed on modern hardware. The beeping and garbage characters printed to the screen during the Windows 1.0 startup gave it away - as Windows 1.0 will do this on modern hardware. Your use of modern hardware was further revealed by the 6.0 Windows score you showed in the Windows 7 properties panel. I could go further and point out there is no way that an old Pentium/Pentium II system would be running Windows 7 and above so flawlessly, but I think I've pointed out enough.
