MAKITA CXT RECIP SAW REVIEW!!

I didn't expect to put it to the ultimate test right out the gate, but here we go let's see how this 12v recip saw hold's up. Working on a 2008 Ford F-150 exhaust hardware rusted up and pitted out without having a cutting torch, using a recip saw is another method used in the automotive industry.

Go get the Milwaukee M12 FUEL Hackzall Kit and also get some carbide tipped recip blades. If you look at home depot there are 2 blades for price of 1 (two blades in a single pack) priced for one blade. plus you consolidate your battery lineup.

I want to give my insite on theses tools as a cabinet maker makitas engineering is spot on has been for 30 years that being said there not the longest lasting tools on the market I get amost a week out of a single charge using the 12v drill or impact driver as my main two drills

Get the 4.0 batteries they last way longer on a charge and they have a led power bar to let you know how much charge the battery has left. 👌 I have the 12v set of makita cxt also I use them almost every day. Best small drills I've ever owned.

Get the 4.0 batteries for that saw it will work a lot better and more power. For a single 4.0 12v battery it's like 60 bucks at Home Depot, I have them for my impact driver and Drill set. The bigger batteries definitely make a big difference in the tools. 👌

In construction and handyman type fields, Makita has never done me wrong...that said...I don’t mess with the lower power stuff. I’d also say right tool for the job and this probably isn’t good for your purposes.

Very nicely done Justin !!! I'm not sure what as a DIYer I would use it for? I also have a corded Ryobi and cordless both so I can't justify a 3rd one in a different platform. Next thing on my wish list is a drill press and bandsaw benchtop 10 inch on both. I've been looking at them for quite some time now and I really like the WEN. Both around $130. I know the HF 8 inch drill press on Sale is $54 just don't know if it's big enough? DaBear says that you really don't want smaller than 15". My plan is doing small craft type project to sell at craft fair or a booth in town possibly. I organized most of my sockets and wrenches today, man that felt good😎😎😎!!! I was smiling as I watched you Adapt, Persevere, and Overcome the adversity of those stubborn rusty bolts. Great job once again my Friend. Rodney
