- The MotoGP world undergoes the so-called "silly season" each year, to varied degrees of severity, during which there is a great deal of conjecture on the riders' and teams' futures. Until everyone's future is established and determined, this window is open for weeks or months amid truths and theories, some reasonable and some ridiculous.
The highlight of the 2025 MotoGP entry list will be Marc Marquez's second major team change in as many years, making it essentially unrecognizable from the previous one.

John Mir is a good rider in past and I think he deserves a good bike and I don't want him to retire

Mir is still young and a former champion. hope he finds a good spot
I'd like to see Mir on a KTM or Aprilia, I don't think he's been on good enough machinery to ever show his full potential. Very underrated rider.
I wouldn’t blame Joan for retiring , he Has a World Championship and the Team he won it with is no longer around … the Honda just doesn’t suit him . He was mister Consistent in the year he won … the new boys since then are doing well on the Italian Bikes with the KTM showing promise too …

Honda needs a rookie! Someone who is not afraid of taken a behind motorcycle 🏍️💨. Cause as long as people are scared 😰😳 to ride the Honda motorbike they will never be successful .....

@@ianjohnson1207 But a rookie would change things for Honda. A youthful person does not think 💬 they way someone older would. Also their courage, esteem, motivation and will would be way stronger 💪 & would be ready to race no matter what they were on. Just like KTM did with "Pedro Acosta".
Honda is an engine company. But when they began to lose to Ducati years ago on the straights, one could see that they were in serious trouble. All other issues follow from that - now its aero, chassis, everything is wrong - even Lorenzo had to run with those silly winglets on the fuel tank in desperation. So Taka and Agura would be a good 'national pairing' for them until the bike improves.
I always felt that Quateraro should have gone to Aprilia (now he and Martin would be a competitive pairing and start winning)
Mir and Rins should land at Yamaha - a good bike, but definitely not a winner these days. Maybe with Pramac-Yamaha they will.
Gresini should get latest Ducati bikes so they can hold on to Alex Marquez and maybe hire a current Moto2 rider like Sergio to pair with him.
2025 is going to be interesting following an exciting 2024!
