As a motorcyclist and one who loves it totally I am in utter incredulation at the skill and speeds these guys perform at. How do you garner this skill level? How do you have the sheer courage to go at these speeds around what is effectively a death trap? I will be forever in utter awe at all of them who take on this circuit and wish them gods speed in safety no matter their individual level.
wow what a legend to control that round the I.O.M T.T course EPIC
James is great such a talented rider and modest gentleman but like a comedian:”and at this point, you can rest a bit. (The bike is doing 200 miles an hour) “in up through the mountain. It’s a bit more relaxing”you can see your picture of the handlebars Rocking and shaking over the bumps as the bike is trying to kick him off every moment.😂
Isn't this video from years ago?
Amazing bike, thank you kawi
Good Sound👍
bro who tf set those GoPros up??? nice footage of the sky lol
Wow.
He set a world record in 2015 for this hot lap for top speed. Not sure if it still stands. I read his avg lap speed was 104. Well below the 136s today. Even the 1000cc bikes aren't being run full throttle all the time. Point being IoM places more value on skill in the 200+ turns and course knowledge than outright power. If the track had more straights and the H2R could pass the homologation rules, she'd probably be crushing the field.
Nice to James doing his Kawasaki PR obligation. This is first and last comment to stop everyone saying"run it at the TT" - no dont. Would be a hot mess and need more taking off it to even get round. Too heavy not nimble enough. Great in a straight line and for top trumps. End. :)
An expert like you should realise this is an old video......
The truth....brilliant!!!😊
Well said, it's more like a drag bike, wonder how he was able to steer that thing through the course
Kawasaki put more engineering prowess into this machine than any TT bike engineers could only dream of
What was the time
When Mr Hillier said he got the bike up to 206, is he talking kilometers per hour? LOL!
No, mph. So 330kmh
206 MPH
so did you put down the fastest lap time cuz the fastest lap time is actually with the stock BMW
What scares me is the white lines in my experience they redo unsettle the bike ,but these guys don't let off on the bends crossing over the middle white lines madness !GATE13SW6CFCCREW
What a beast of a bike, these guys who race in the TT full max respect speed demons...
Dreamy!
Amazing bike, totally powerful but can the chassis and brakes keep up?
