I kinda hate how Creepypastas convinced people that lost media is disturbing and scary when most of it is cheesy kids shows. I’m genuinely passionate about media preservation and recovering lost media, but it gets so annoying when every discussion of it has to be some overhyped, exaggerated “and then there was hyperrealistic blood on the screen” “my uncle worked at Nickelodeon and they sealed this movie in a vault because it was SO DISTURBING” deal.
Meanwhile, the beginning of SpongeBob's lost episode with the walking animation scared the heck out of me, pretty much until I was an adult. But I don't know enough about the state of the internet back then to know if that was intentional or not.
I remember about 10 years ago discussing a kids’ show with my friends (we were in high school at the time). We all remembered the same details of a girl in a blue wig, a talking clock, and the most important detail: the girl was tiny, and lived between the pages of a book. We couldn’t remember the title, and tried some googling, but Wikipedia’s list of shows from that network definitely did not include the show we remembered. Eventually I found a single forum post referencing the same tiny blue haired girl living in a book, which at least convinced us we weren’t crazy. We gave up there but it still bothered me. Turns out other people wanted to find it too, and in 2019 someone found clips from the show! My Special Book, from 1998! It felt good to have an answer and it didn’t need to be some dark spooky mystery at all.
tbh creepypasta was the thing that got me INTO lost media and a shit ton of deepdives. Did you the original Jeff The Killer image is STILL lost media????? If anything, Creepypasta started the trend of looking for lost media. Not trend, but you know what I mean
"Why would someone record a VHS of a movie that they haven't seen before..." Because people aren't home all day and some VCRs could be set to record on a timer.
It was the best way to see something you either wouldn't be home for and you could fast forward commercials. My family and I recorded things all the time. Best part was, if we ended up not liking it, you could just record over it. A lot of younger millennials and gen z have been calling them that because of DVD players. I understand it, but my brain itches because I expect to hear VCR.
Nickelodeon re-aired this movie back in 2011. I didn't document it well on my Facebook but my adult self was too scared to watch it in the wee hours of Halloween night and just noped out, went to bed. Somehow knew about it to be intrigued enough to watch it. If it's on TH-cam I might give it another try. I also have Girl Scout trauma HAHA
Nickelodeon had some good made for TV movies including No Time to Spy: A Loud House Movie, Maniac Magee and Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in conjunction with Warner Bros. Animation).

Oh and also (just take the engagement okay? I have feelings I need to work through), am I to understand that his “deeply shameful” secrets was conjoined children… who were joined, even contemporarily, in the single most easy conjoinment for separation candidacy. Omphalopagus twins share only soft tissue - and we’ve now specified that their only shared organ was an organ you can cut in half and be juuuust fine - and rather than lovk them in an attic or basement or whatever and let them die of a damn cold, they could have called ANY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN THE COUNTRY and they would be THRILLED at the opportunity to put their name on a conjoined twin separation. Worst 👏🏼 dad 👏🏼 evar 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
The same way how they knew Bart's siamese twin was evil on The Simpsons Tree house of horror episode S8 E1 Dr. Hibbard did a soul smear test to detect the presence of evil 😂
Disney plus actually just did a remake of something I can't remember what it was kids were getting people were getting possessed by worms and they were making them evil
If I was marketing for I Saw the Tv Glow I would have put together clips an episode of the Pink Opaque and commissioned lots of TH-cam videos like this about it
You should watch the are you afraid of the dark show. I remember needing to be at my friends house to watch it with him and his sisters. It was very exciting back then but im sure it doesn’t hold up now. But maybe it does?????
We recorded stuff on VHS so if it was live we didnt have to be there watching it live. Also then we could rewatch movies and shows over and over again.
Im so confused - the bad twin was in the cemetery and he was the one terrorizing the town. Why did they go to cry baby lane to pull the weed from the good brother? Did i miss something
I did see this movie live. I remember being so excited about it, and yes I was terrified as a kid and did have some bad dreams. I think it was the eyes, but then I forgot about it because I never saw the movie again. Then years later when the SpongeBob episode Shanghaied aired, I was like why do I feel like I’ve seen this, and then I remembered this movie. I asked people if they saw it and no one remembered it, so I started to think maybe I made up the movie. I’m so glad to know it was real and I’m not crazy!
I am proud to say I remember seeing this back when it aired . I always wondered why I never saw it again. I mean Nickelodeon had a ton of spooky content. Do remember Are You Afraid of the Dark? Hey Arnold had some creepy episodes. Some of the other shows were kind of creepy. Not sure why this movie is an outlier. Remember Goosebumps.
You should doa video on more movies and shows you can't find any where. Take the TV series Weird Science. Based off the movie, it was good enough to have 5 seasons but I can't find the series anywhere
I have a movie or show I briefly watched in the mid 90s as a kid that I've been trying to figure out the name of and idk why but its been bugging me for a long time. I don't remember if it was on cartoon network or Nickelodeon but all i remember is there was like a bad guy or something that had some type of power that made him turn blue. It had the vibe of something like are you afraid of the dark but I don't think that was it but I do need to rewatch the series to make sure.
Great video. I love it. So, I was wondering if you could do a video on the 1990s Sinbad film titled Shazaam? I know it isn't real, but would love to hear about how it all started. If anyone could make that interesting it would be you. 😁
Annnd this is why it’s not hard to believe that Sinbad was in that knock off genie movie. Probably aired once, they got sued, pulled it, signed a hell of a lot of NDA’s and that’s why Sinbad can’t confirm it.

This is what happened to Shazaam! Except bitd you couldn't VHS record subscription channels ( like Disney, HBO, Showtime).
Wouldn’t such a separation have been out of grasp at the time period the twins were set in, specifically for a relatively poor farmer?
Ngl this movie would be cool. Definitely smt I'll be scared to watch it as young, but then as grown up enjoy it
Worms dont really scare me but I find them incredibly disgusting to the point they make me gag, I like fishing so that sucks.
Jordy McNeil: This banned Nickelodeon movie is a nightmare!
Jerry Lewis: Hold my beer...
i would love to know how the parents decided one of the twins was 'evil'... he was just a child?? 😭
no literalllllllly
Which ever one was their least favorite, I guess.
The same way how they knew Bart's siamese twin was evil on The Simpsons Tree house of horror episode S8 E1 Dr. Hibbard did a soul smear test to detect the presence of evil 😂
Ah the good old days, when people got POSSESSED by worms instead instead of running for president with them ALREADY in their brains.
Disney plus actually just did a remake of something I can't remember what it was kids were getting people were getting possessed by worms and they were making them evil
The undertaker was in the 2005 DCOM Now You See It…
Snick came on during the weekdays too, followed by Nick at Nite.
I second this idea if you can make it work. Hearing people talk about Are You Afraid of the Dark and Goosebumps is my favorite content!

Frank Langella was also skeletor in the Masters of the universe movie.
Those "odds" are INCREDIBLY high! That's how movies were watched AFTER going inside the house at nighttime after being outdoors all day.
I just watched this movie after finding out who from your channel, and it would have been scarier if I was a kid but it's still gave me goosebumps.
So the mom was basically represents how the parents reacted to the movie lol.😂😂😂
"It soon became clear that somehow Palpatine returned"
Why does the undertaker look like a white Tyler Perry???
The wrestling reference is why I remembered this movie and also those glowing eyes
Another twist, they each twin has Green Goblin / Gollum mirror personas so they can do reverse shot one-twin show dialogue for twice the twins
You need to watch a movie called "Squirm" if you haven't seen it yet. Power lines fall on muddy soil full of worms and turns them carnivorous.
Have you seen Undertaker's Hot Ones episode? It's very sweet. I also really recommend Super Eyepatch Wolf's video about the Undertaker, too. 12/10
I also went through an Undertaker Phase tbh
Undertaker girlz 4ever
"You guys have no faith." I lvoe their choice of words.
Nostalgia and wrestling?! Jordy, babe.. I'm in love with you ❤
Damn....love your lounge space!
You should doa video on more movies and shows you can't find any where. Take the TV series Weird Science. Based off the movie, it was good enough to have 5 seasons but I can't find the series anywhere
16:58 is that Comedian Jim Gaffigan driving the car and not saying anything in the background lol?
I remember waiting for this to air and watching it live. I did always wonder what happened to it after that.
"The dad's kinda a bi- rude man"
I respect that level of self-control, don't have it tho
edit: great video btw lol
I have a movie or show I briefly watched in the mid 90s as a kid that I've been trying to figure out the name of and idk why but its been bugging me for a long time. I don't remember if it was on cartoon network or Nickelodeon but all i remember is there was like a bad guy or something that had some type of power that made him turn blue. It had the vibe of something like are you afraid of the dark but I don't think that was it but I do need to rewatch the series to make sure.
I regret paying for TH-cam premium because I still have to sit through ads because people are putting ads into their videos
What happened in the Girl Scouts?
Should I watch this in the daytime?
