I said your shooting is amazing. You need to shoot in a competition at a club and see how you go. Top shooters shoot all day 48 hours a week. For youtube. You can shoot 6 great arrows but shooting them consistently is hard. But again if you can shoot like that any where at anytime you will be one of the top shooters. The issue I have with videos like the one you produced people think it is the norm and what they can expect. But welcome your results in any shoot and I wish you the best. On the weekend I was beaten by a 16 year old girl who had been shooting for less than a year. She trains hard. I shoot every day. It does not mean I wish she did not shoot that well. I welcome her training and congradulate her. Her work and effort is paying off. I hope at the next week Nationals she wins.
Dude he has thrown up really good scores here in California. 3d nationals , state, and club shoots. What’s wrong with people watching a video like these and thinking they can do it? I work in a bow shop and tell everyone every day you can go far as you want to if you put in the work. Pieter is putting in the work and the results are showing. He is the product of growing group of what i believe is an elite group shooters here on the west coast. We shoot Safari & field same format as Redding / NFAA 3d nationals. Out here in the west coast he is one of the top shooters. Besides most of the top shooters out here don’t shoot WA / format or participate USAT ranking events. In the US back in 2019 I estimated it would cost 30,000 to go to every USAT , NFAA National event, and Vegas. Living on the west coast going to IBO and all the ASA would probably be even more. If I could waive a magic wand, and let’s say, I could shoot perfect at every event and win, Vegas being the only exemption, the prize money wouldn’t barely cover the cost of doing it. Without the help of the manufactures most pros wouldn’t do it. So here in Cali we play our own game. The truth is out here in cali we have some awesome shops with great techs and great teachers/ coaches. Lots of people shoot as good as him and he even said it a lot shoot better.
You are a very good shooter, do not let people put you off, I have only just started archery and every corner I turn there are people trying to stop me because I do not join clubs. I fish too and have the same problem with people and clubs. In the UK we are not allowed to hunt with a bow. I believe that is due to the toffs and greedy land owners wanting to keep all the game animals to themselves. God did not give one man the right have diminion over the earth and all that is on it. Sorry I am ranting now too.
Great job Pieter. It sucks that you had some drama but sometimes drama draws attention. those of us who know you out here in California know that you’re for reals and know what you were trying to do. Keep it up.
Aussie bowhunter here who has had dealings with S. H. Please don't be distracted with S. H. You only need to go through his channels postings wherein he goes into micro detail about his love life, health and dealing with his archery store customers and you'll quickly get an explanation and confirmation that he warrants being ignored.
I have shortened it recently by 1/4 inch. I don't think it is a drawlength issue. Looking back over the video I realize my front should it way too high. It's interesting the form issues I spot reviewing the video that I never realized while just shooting. I'm gonna start using video a lot more as a training aid.
I shoot my bow every opportunity I get. Target, field, 3d... In California we shoot Safari, it's the same targets as 3d, but scored 11-10-8-5, with the 11 ring being colored orange. The distances typically range from 2 yards to 101 yards. I've never shot 3d like ASA or IBO. I've also never shot unmarked yardage.

Admirable that you took the time to respond. Haters will hate regardless and don't care. Stay positive and keep on your present path, its working.
New subscriber. You are a nasty archer man. I hope to be where you are in a few years. Just start a year ago. Keep it up.
I'm far from where I want to be, but thank you. The more we practice, the better we get.
Awesome video buddy! If you don't have haters, you're doing something wrong. Keep up the good spirit 👍
By the looks of it you need to shorten your draw length. Your left elbow is not in line as it should be.
I have shortened it recently by 1/4 inch. I don't think it is a drawlength issue. Looking back over the video I realize my front should it way too high.

@@SeaSaltMud :A good source for compound archery is TH-cam channel Elk Shape and MFJJ. Good luck and stay with it.
@@jimmiekaelin4804 I follow them both. I got my target bow from MFJJ / Spokane Valley Archery
If it works for you don't change it
Well done and well said! 👍. Do you just shoot paper or do local 3-d events also?

Nice video. What model hoyt are you shooting. You shoot well and in the wind is not easy at 100 yards.
Thank you.
It is a Hoyt Alpha X33. I'm planning a rig rundown video soon.
@@SeaSaltMud that is a great bow. I shot it at my pro shop and did a fast review on it.
