Thank you. I am having so much fun with it. Just keep telling myself it was from a 64 year old mold and was molded and boxed in 1974. I was 11. LOL And Daisy said, "Thank you."
Excellent progress. You sure have stepped up to a challenge with all the detail you are adding and the interior paint scheme. Looking forward to further updates. Well done !
what's mind blowing to me is all that detail was cut basically by hand. some nameless master machinist must have had a lot of pride in his work to put that much effort into it.
I know right, The more I work on this kit the more I am amazed by the skill and pride that was put into this kit. The mold was made about 64 years ago, and in my opinion for fit and finish this kit stands much higher than any modern kit. Thanks again for watching, and have a great day.
Thank you very much. It doesn't do as well on newer plastic as it does on this old stuff. When you do it just go quick between the hot side and the cold side and it will lock the opening nice so it doesn't fall in on itself.
Do you believe that this kit was first made 64 years ago. . . Someone had to literally carve all that detail into the mold by hand. It's something else.
Wow Mark. Really getting into the details of this kit. I know it's going to come outstanding. Even plug wires! Wish it was longer than 9 minutes. It's only a teaser. LOL Hey thanks for the work you do with these videos. Ya know as a matter of fact even a lot of the after market distributors don't have the vacuum advance. I'm making one for a kit later today. Again thanks. Oh I noticed you have the girl working. LOL
Thank you very much. I think this kit deserves me to do as much as I can to. I kept the video short because I was afraid that people would loose interest. It is my pleasure making these videos. I feel like I am giving back to a hobby that has given so much to me. The girl worker is TJ's wife. She is a top notch mechanic, and will fit right in with the group. Thanks again for watching and for the kind words.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Well there goes my fantasy red head fling. Gonna have to call her Mrs now. You have to make another. Blonde though. LOL Really looking forward to the next vid.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Hey Mark you could even make her with salt & pepper hair to match mine and yours. LOL I hate to be a bother but ya think you could show me a better close up of your vacuum piece on the distributor? I was thinking about putting a piece of sprue in my Dremel and sanding it slowly so it doesn't melt while it's spinning and I'm sanding it. What do ya think? I just want to see exactly what yours looks like. Thanks - Richie
I just put a good picture of it on my channel's community page. It's not the best vacuum advance, but it tells the story. LOL Hope this helps. OOOO yes, I think you can turn that down on your Dremel. Just set it as slow as it will go and have a light touch. I chucked mine in an old drill I have and that worked good.
Can u show how u will prep the door panels prior to paint. This one looks like a lot of detail to be had. Looking forward to it being finished. Thank you Mark.
Awesome! Looks great so far. So does that mean were going to get a engine detail video? Awe, she is so cute! Hi Miss Daisy... 👋 You know those FB pics of the 31 Ford Delivery Van I was renaming from "skjdhfalskdurewiu387938712837##&*AH#" to "painting floor pan"? Well I got them all renamed and in process of making a video... 😓 4 Hours! Count them, 4 hours in total to do that... Lol The sad part I have 6 more albums to go... Thanks Mark! LLAP 🖖
Thank you very much Bruce. Since most people will never do this kit I don't think I will do an engine detail video. I'll just incorporate what I do in with the regular build updates. I've been wondering how you were doing with your pictures. I know it takes for flipping ever to get through all of them. No fun, but it's fun to see all the pictures again. LOL
Interior color choice looks good. Looking forward to your painting of everything.
Thank you very much. Thank you for watching.
Nice build,Mark...I like the color scheme you've picked for the interior...great engine details 😎👍
Thank you very much. I'm excited to dive into that engine.
That is coming along nicely. All the detail is fantastic. Also, good looking pup.😊
Thank you. I am having so much fun with it. Just keep telling myself it was from a 64 year old mold and was molded and boxed in 1974. I was 11. LOL And Daisy said, "Thank you."

Thank you very much. This kit deserves the extra detail. It is a true classic.
Nice to see the details in that kit. Can't wait to see what you're going to add. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much. I am going to have fun with this one.
All the detail you put into a model is amazing
Thank you very much. I try and add as much as I can see and my fingers will allow. LOL

Thank you very much. Thanks for watching.
It's going to look awesome with those details and that paint scheme.
Thank you. As long as I can pull it off. LOL Thanks for watching.
This thing is going to be super cool. It’s amazing how nice these old kits were.
Thank you. I am always amazed at the quality that was put into these kits.
Looking good. It’s going to look amazing
Thank you very much. It is a great kit.
Always love your work!! This is another fun build to watch! Always appreciate the work you put into your builds!
Thank you very much, and thank you for watching.
Cool vid. I'll have to try that distributor trick!
Thank you very much. It doesn't do as well on newer plastic as it does on this old stuff. When you do it just go quick between the hot side and the cold side and it will lock the opening nice so it doesn't fall in on itself.
you just made my day:)
Thank you very much. I am having such a great time with this kit. It's amazing.
I love these videos! So much detail and so cool to see the progress!

That’s just crazy! So cool!
Thank you Daisy. I enjoyed it.

You cracked me up. She may end up blond. Not digging the black gray look. LOL

Thank you very much.
that's some amazing details
I keep telling myself that this is from a 64 year old mold. It's amazing what they were able to do back then.
Great Update
.
Thank you very much.
Can u show how u will prep the door panels prior to paint. This one looks like a lot of detail to be had. Looking forward to it being finished. Thank you Mark.
I will make sure I get some good detail pictures of the process. It has a lot of detail, but looks fairly easy to prep.
please do a video of painting the Fairlane and Skyliner emblems!!
I'll try, but I can't guarantee anything. It is hard for me to work and film, but I'll try.
For the chrome on the steering wheel with the Ford emblem, black panel line will make it pop.
That's what I was thinking too. Thanks for watching.
