First thing you said about the tyers goes back. THANK YOU, had this problem and didn't know how to fix it. Now I know. Thank you again bro
Thanks mate!!! Hasn't fixed it completely but way better! Good luck with yours
Geez didnt realise how easy it was to do that...good having people like you showing how its done gives you faith in doing it yourself..well done mate cheers.
Thanks mate, was a bit hesitant myself as never tackled anything like this before.
Turned out ok, I think the trick is to just take your time and do it in steps that make sense. Got to admit it was a lot easier than I thought too.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for trouble shooting my TL79 series facing currently 👍👍👍
New radius arms & new seats bud!
Loving them both!
Great Vid mate, a question thou did you have the vehicle on stands at any stage? i didnt notice any
Hey mate, no stands were used at all. Probably would have been a bit of a safeguard, however, it was shady being able to raise and lover the jack to help with the install. Not sure I would have had that freedom with the jack stands.
Cheers!
Great video mate, like them, that’s what I have to do also, as mine scubs and wobbles a little, tryed to get the mob that did it to rectify, but won’t answer my emails .. Cheers again
Thanks mate! Loving the feedback. It’s not a massive job, just a bit daunting if you haven’t done it before (me).
Has not fixed everything though, now that it’s pushed the wheels back to where they should be, they are scrubbing a fair bit on the Bullbar. Next video, I’m going to take an angle grinder to the Bullbar and fingers crossed fix all of the scrubbing once and for all!
Cheers
Richo
@@MudModsBeers just watched the cut out, mate what brand of radius arms did you run, cheers
I'm looking at he Blackhawks for my 105 but wasn't sure as they say for 3-5' lift, but if they work with your 2" lift my 2.5" should be ok.. do you think you will need a front drive shaft spacer now the diff is further forward so the drive shaft is extended??
Hey Ben,
Thanks for the comments, the radius arms are working well so far, they ended up only pushing the diff forward about 10mm or less, given that even though I can see on the driveshaft how far it’s moved, I’ve had no issues so far. Been a couple of months now and have been to the Glasshouse etc all good.
Good luck with yours 👍🍻
Thanks for showing how easy it is to install control arms…my question is why was the original ones removed? I’m changing one that was bent on an accident and replacing with second hand control arm! I hope it’s a good fix
We removed the original ones as after the car was lifted the diffs slightly twist under and move the wheels back in the wheel arch. The new arms fix this issue.
Thanks for watching mate!
Thank you for the knowledge 😊👍🏽👍🏽
So your lift kit is a arb 2 inch heavy duty lift? ? Need to ask as I’ve got a 15 model with the arb lift offset bushes , after few years arb bushes have got flogged after few years obviously put new castor bushes in steering still not as tight better , but wondering now if I bite the bullet and try to get the diff to roll back even more slightly , help make the steering wheel be more firm , when you laid the arms from one another did you put the two bush holes on top of each other ?
Hey mate, yes just a 2” lift from ARB, with 600kg constants in the back. Old man emu nitros shocks. Sorry I didn’t line the bushes when I installed the new radius arms.
It does drive heaps better now though, in all fairness in the tuff stuff still scrubs.
Cheers
Richo
In the rough stuff the scrubbing is normal especially with 35s but mainly highway driving high speed is very critical , is the arms you bought a certain size or does it cover a few different heights of lift? Cheers
