The CNG explosion issues WILL get worse. Nigeria has no Quality Assurance frameworks/protocol, and converting a vehicle which the manufacturer never intended voids everythjng about the vehicle - warranty, insurance or claims that may emanate from issues as a result. Who regulates and CERTIFIES the CNG conversion? Do we have any reference agency whos job it is? Or is it another case of insha all?! Are Nigerians aware that your insurance company can refuse paying your insurance claim due to voiding the manufacturs warranty by doing the meaningless conversion no government agency takes responsibility for regulation.
We have non-road worthy vehicles all over the place and Nigerians think we can guaranty the safety of cars converted without Manufacturers approval or input?! Dey play!
