Turning counterclockwise shuts water off from the outside main feed?? I'm assuming you shoot videos with the FRONT camera on your phone, and it's reversing the image (hence clockwise on your video means loosening fittings which is reverse of reality). This is a vital piece of information to share with viewers who might not be so astute. There is a method to reverse the video back to "normal" with any decent video editing software, btw.
I was watching you trying to unscrew the valve clockwise and was stunned when it came off. If you can’t correctly record a video perhaps you shouldn’t be sharing it
It really depends on what city you live in, may cost $200 to over 1k or if you know someone that knows someone that works in that department 😊 you may get it free

Good thing that main valve was threaded. I hate changing the flared copper. The last guy never leaves enough slack.
The city has to put a seal on it? Looking get the same thing done at my house and I want know the about how much it cost.
