No one forced James to quit his job, lie to his parents and move without planning a future. She’s immature but he’s a coward and a liar. If they communicated well, they’d have discussed pros and cons of when and how to move. She could have gone first and had her illness sorted. And yes, I do believe she had issues although she also wants to stay in her country and wouldn’t be completely honest about it. She’s foolish to think they can sustain any lifestyle working for her parents. Even with all the help they’re getting from them. To add a child to the mix, although he promised now is not the time. But I think she just want to give “something” to her parents as the prodigal daughter. Not wise to use a child as a bargaining chip but there is some societal unspoken pressure on her to have something going for herself and that includes at least having children if nothing else. James should have saved once he knew they were moving he shouldn’t have kept the car with the ridiculous bills that no one is driving. He should have looked ahead for possible jobs, when he is eligible, learn the language etc. There must be elevators over in Indonesia as well, if not he could be a language teacher. Would definitely make more than selling banana chips.

Some people have hyperthyroid symptoms for years before it shows up in labs, like when it is caused by Grave’s disease. Hyperthyroidism causes your all of your body’s processes to speed up and creates high levels of anxiety.
